When I restart my 9790 after installation or removal of an application, I get the message "the backup file is corrupt. If possible, create another backup file and try again or choose another option of restore. "What should I do to solve this problem.

If you upgraded to a Bold 9790? Have you restored all your request you have on your old curve using a switch or your backup device Wizard?

You can to think and have to remember for all applications after which issue appeared, or remove all applications from third party of your device, restart your device, then install a fresh copy of each application from BlackBerry World. But one at a time, it will help you understand the application of guilty. It might be a device or operating system with any installed application compatibility issue.

    There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code.     Hello Blackberry community,

    I have a Curve 9300 and so far, it has worked without problem but the other day I tried to send a BBM and received this message:

    UNTRAPPED EXCEPTION: JAVA. LANG. NULLPOINTER EXCEPTION

    I have no idea what this means and why I receive.  All I can do is press 'OK' and it brings back me to my normal screen.  All other functions work correctly.

    If anyone can help that would be great.

    Do not disable your password. All you have to do is to make sure that you have PocketMac know that you have a password and enter in it and then syncing should work fine. It is under the connection tab when you click the icon of your blackberry in PocketMac.

    Forget the 8320... my mistake (even if he would not have removed from your 8900, so no worries there).

    Download the operating system. Locate the downloaded *.exe file and double-click it to install it on your PC.

    Protect wants latest BBID, but when a window appear to download a new version of BBID the result is "there no new version for BBID' (I have just one last)

    BBM also wants the new version of BBID.

    I tried to reinstal Protect: impossible

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    After removing MANY messages and check the status of the memory, I understand it's a system error message. I still have on my 2 GB card free avout and more than 250MB to free up system memory.

    I'm still getting the messages, just anoyed by the message...

    Your SIM card is not the device memory or Media Card... everyone is different.

    I had finally installed it. That's how I did it. First of all, I made a backup through blackberry link. Then I reinstalled the device through blackberry link software. When this was done, I restored the device with the backup that I brought back all my contacts, accounts and apps. Turned off location services.     Read the error message in full and you will find the path of the file .adt. Go to this folder (directory) and delete all the files .adt. Close the application of Destop and re - open again and start the synchronization.

    If you have customized the contact fields that you may need to start over.
