  I have a HP Pavilion dv6707us laptop with Windows Vista. My sound icon says "no audio output device is installed". When I open sounds, no device is listed, and when I go to Device Manager, there is no category of "sound, video and game controllers". Also, it does not show any audio device listed under any category even when I click on 'Show hidden devices '.
