Error "No Preview" unable to view photos available

Original title: no preview available for Photos.

I downloaded my camera photos to "my pictures". I then created a folder in which I transferred photos. I then merged this new folder with an existing folder by "slip & fall.» When I try to view pictures of the original file, an available "No Preview" message appears and the picture does not appear.  How can I solve this problem?

Sorry... but if your DVD is VOB files you haven't actually "back up" your "

IOW... it is so more a group of individual photos... it's a movie.

  • Unable to view photos sent to me

for the last two weeks, I couldn't see the photos sent to me by e-mail.   I get the same msg: could not open the file.  Never had this problem before and have no idea how to fix this.  Of course, miss old days when you could pick up the phone, dial a number and get a REAL person on the other end who could answer the questions!  of course, these days my family would be mailing photos to me in an envelope.  Laughing out loud.

In order to view attachments, you need to install a program that is able to view the attachment.

What format are these attchemnents? That is to say.xxx file name

And what e-mail program you use

Since switching to the latest model of Apple TV, my pictures no longer appear in the Apple TV photo app.  I have my library visible on all my other devices, iMac, MacBook Pro, iPhone6, and iPad Air, but they are not visible on Apple TV.  My previous model of Apple TV still displays them and I do not understand why the new Apple TV will not.  I am connected to the Apple account.

The Photos App only shows photo stream photos and albums shared, but this was the case with previous Apple TV, is that these photos, you expect to see and do not or you were expecting to see your library.

original title: can I open attachments in emails, but photos that should appear along with a message are blank. Please can someone advise me on this. Thank you to. Ken

Pictures that should appear on my opening email are just a grey square with a small symbol in it.

    Ken

If you are using Windows Mail, go to tools | Options | Read and make sure that it is not set up to read all messages in plain text.  Also, go to tools | Options | Security and check to see if its set to block images and other external content.  If so, you should get the information bar yellow to let you know, but if you installed IE9 you don't (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15).

Also, if they are transmitted messages, some messages don't transmit the images though, so test by sending you a message with an embedded image and see if agree you with the image.

  • Unable to import photos from the Android phone and get a 0X80004005 error message

I'm trying to import pictures from my android phone, and I get this error code?

    Hi Pam,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand, from the description of the problem, you are unable to import photos from your android phone and you get an error.

I appreciate if you could answer a few questions.

    1. how you try to import the photos?

2 how to connect Android phone on your computer?

3 what is the brand and model of your Android?

Copy pictures and videos from the micro-SD card on your Android device to a computer, allows you to save and use them on your PC for editing, sharing or display. The process of copying the photos and videos from your phone to a computer is quite simple, just follow the instructions below to start.

    Step 1:

    1. connect your smartphone using the USB sync cable. A USB icon appears in the notification area of your phone.

2 on the smartphone, drag down the notifications bar and then type. Then tap USB connected and then climb.

3 on the computer, click START, and then select computer or workstation. The micro-SD phone card is recognized and listed as a removable disk.

4 double-click the removable disk to open it. Double-click the DCIM folder, and then the camera folder.

5 in this folder, you can copy all the photos and videos taken with the digital camera on your Android smartphone.

6 to disconnect your Android, just go to the area of notifications on your phone and press the USB sign to disconnect.

  • I have several new emails in the Inbox, but I'm unable to view or even see them?

I have several new emails in the Inbox, but I'm unable to view or even see them?

    Hey CRB123,

Thank you for being a part of the communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message, you see a badge that you have unread e-mails in your Inbox, but they are not appearing.  An easy way to separate the emails read from the unread macOS that Sierra is to click the button to filter in the list of messages, or sort by unread:

    • Activate the filters: Click the filter button at the top of the list of messages, click unread to display the list of available filters, and then select one or more filters. A check mark indicates a filter is active.

If you use more than one email account in Mail, you can filter the Inbox into account - for example, only show emails from your iCloud account.

    • Disable an active filter: Click on the filter.

    • Disable all filters: Click the filter button .

Mail remembers your filters and automatically applied the next time that you click the filter button to activate the filters.

You can also sort the list of messages - just click on "sort by" at the top of the list of messages, then select an attribute, such as and a sort order. In a typical configuration, click on a column header.

Mail for Mac: filter the list of messages in Mail

If no unread messages, then I would like to confirm if you have emails unread looking webmail for your email account. If you see the unread messages in webmail, go back to the mail app, and then rebuild your Inbox:

You may have to re-create a mailbox to update the list of the messages it contains. For example, if messages seem to be missing or garbled, or if you don't find any relevant messages when you search by using the entire Message search option.

    • Select a mailbox in the Mail sidebar, then choose BALL > rebuild.

When you rebuild the mailbox for accountIMAP or Exchange messages and attachments stored on your computer are discarded and then downloaded again from the mail server to your Mac. Your mailbox is empty until the download is complete.

Mail for Mac: rebuild the mailboxes

    Take care.

  • How to install Windows XP SP1 from the disc and not an error message indicating "unable to install from the web?"

My laptop with Windows XP home (2002, upgraded to SP3), crashed after almost 10 years of perfect service. Then I reinstalled my OS (not OEM, bought and paid for a full installation of Windows XP Home, 2002), and after 3 hands hours hardware controllers and drivers, installation was finally able to connect to internet to make updates on Windows XP and hardware. Arriving at Windows Update of the site, I realized that I couldn't do web updates up-to-date, because my old version of Windows. It will not be updated to SP3, because I need SP1 or higher. So, I tried to download and install SP1a. Error says that I can not reach the server. So, I download SP1a on my other computer, burn a CD and try to install SP1a directly from CD. Now, I get an error message stating "error installing SP1a, unable to reach the server. Try again when you have access to the web... Hello! I'm not trying to install from the web... why this message? I even made my computer has been getting a good connection ethernet, just in case my computer needed to communicate with? While my computer has been updated by CD.

It's probably something simple, but I'm frustrated. Help when the first thing I see on the Microsoft Update site is a special page, telling me that I am not able to update Windows. Help, please!

You must use this upgrade path:
Gold XP to XP SP2 to XP SP3.
Note that installing SP1a is TOTALLY USELESS! (Not only that, the file available these days is EVIL, because you knew.)
    Here are the detailed instructions:

    1. download the installation files from SP2, SP3, IE8 and Microsoft Security Essentials, which is an effective antivirus/antimalware program. I prefer to keep these on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=28 (for SP2)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials (for MMS)

    2. disconnect Internet.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates.

    4. install SP2. Restart twice.

5 install the SP3. Restart twice.

6 switch to IE8. Restart twice.

    7 install an Antivirus software.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should be).

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet.)

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates.

10 re - enable automatic updates.

After the back if you need guidance.

  • Can't view photos on my laptop

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC tx1218au runs on Windows Vista Home Premium and AMD processor and NVIDIA graphics card. I have installed the latest updates for my laptop. The problem I'm facing started more than a year back and is still in continuity. I downloaded photos on my laptop and the first steps, I was able to view and edit them with ease. Subsequently, I was unable to view the photos. Even when I load new pictures from my camera I am not able to view them. Photos donot seem to be corrupted. I tried to fix these photos to my email and opening the same on my desk and visualizing of my office. I have this desktop computer that runs on Windows XP and Intel processor. Whenever I try to open one of my photos with any of the other than Quicktime software, the laptop stops immediately and he dumped from memory and then start my laptop. When I opened these photos with Quicktime, it gives me a message that my image is corrupted and it cannot open this file. Most of the photos appear as corrupt on Quicktime, with the exception of a selection bit which opens, but in such a way that the picture is painted in blue or dark display some images. Because of this above problem, I am not able to work with my photos on my laptop. It is a big setback for me. Please advice on the solution to this problem. Thank you.

I uninstalled Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition to my laptop, and then restarted the computer and installed Adobe Photoshop back again. Now, Adobe Photoshop works perfectly well.

Windows Movie Maker doesnot seem to give problems after I've done the above.

Now I am very satisfied with the solution to the problem of mines. But I still need to work more on these photo software programs to be fully satisfied. Installation of Picasa 3 seems to have solved the problem. Not really understand how and why. This simply shows that the computer has a mind of your own. Something triggers a problem in there and it starts to behave strangely. Even something also triggered a solution for it and it starts to behave in a happy way. Computer becomes more human - unpredictable in his behavior.

Recently, I had a problem with my laptop, he wasn't able to play my cd player. He became unaccessable. I thought I had to replace my cd player. Then I discovered a way to do this. I just unplug my power cord for my laptop when not in service and connect to the time where I use it. This simple plug/unplug power plug wire did my laptop to access my drive to cd without any problems. Computer went nuts, isn't? Now that I'm able to see pictures of my new and able to get around with it, I'll try to keep my power plug wire connected to the laptop always and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll keep you posted if I encounter problems. I feel in all likelihood, the issue is resolved.
