• Server.app and port 4444

  I was checking my open ports on my Mac server recently and noticed that the port 4444 was open. (To my knowledge) I have not all installed services using this port, so I was a little confused. All that is using this port runs under launchd so I can't kill him directly. When connecting to this port on telnet it returns an HTTP 405 error. As a test, I uninstalled Server.app temporarily and when I checked my ports once again, he was more open. What is Server.app uses this port to?

  This port must be accessible from the server itself on localhost.  It is the process of krb524 (translator of Kerberos 5 to 4) and is used with Directory Services.  With installed Server.app and services that are running, it's a normal service.  but as mentioned, he must answer only when he is interviewed by localhost.  If you do a port scan or telnet from another machine on your local network, the service should not respond.

• Photosmart 5520: Scan to email: server connection error 403 (with app and scan)

  I scanned to send several times than I can count, but a few days ago, I get nothing other than the error "connection server 403 error." I checked the forums and someone said to go into apps and download the application. It did not work. I rebooted and tried everything, which he expects. Yet, nothing. Is this error to do with something outside as the real servers HPs - or is this something internal that I can fix it? I went as far as I can without resetting to factory settings (which I am fearful because I recently had the country code has changed on this issue and do not want to return to the country of origin), someone has any suggestions other than what I've sifted through the forums already?

  I understand that you have some problems with the scan to E-mail on your Photosmart 5520. I can help with that.

  We can try I couldn't see you is to remove and enable web services. To do:

  1. On the printer, click web services icon that looks like a tablet with a phone beside her.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click on delete Web Services.
  4. Click again on the Web Services.
  5. Click on accept and Yes.
  6. Try scanning to Email.

  I would like to know if it works. If it does please not then let me know and we can try something else. Even if it solves your problems, so please let other users of the forum know clicking on accept as Solution below my post.

  You must install the network drivers for this system that you did a clean install of windows. After installing the driver, find the network connection. Let me know if it helps.

  You may not use download OA Framework to develop applications of the ADF.

  I create two batch/command files: in each of them, the JDEV_USER_DIR value and other environment variables to point to a suitable location and run the JDeveloper.

  Just unzip JDev and OA Framework to separate places and make sure that the user for each directory is in a separate location as well.

  You can restore the system to the Windows recovery environment and check if you are able to boot to the desktop. Follow the steps in this link to boot into the Windows recovery environment and select the system restore option.

  Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

• Disney app will not work on 5510 printer. Error connection server error message:-95

  New 5510 printer. All the apps work except Disney. Tried several times. Able to selected photo, preview and select # copies, but after hitting OK error message: "server connection error:-95.. There was a problem connecting to the server. Press Retry to reconnect or OK to change. "Does not work. Help, I want Disney app to work.

  If this is the only app that does not work on your printer and after uninstallation and reinstallation of the application, it still does not work, the problem lies in the app and its manufacturer. The fact the other apps are working shows the issue is not with the printer or apps function. I could wait a few days and see if it starts working again, but at this point, there is nothing else to solve problems too long that other applications work properly.

  We found the problem, the MRS on the primary side server had problems connecting to the DB server and the remote SRM was not able to access on the primary side.

  I have several problems with my services, and, while I thought I put in place correctly, all signs point to DNS problems.

  In the DNS of Server.app Panel, the State says:

  Are you sure that you have configured the Apple Time Capsule to be in router mode? You want the WAN port, i.e. the lower hole of the Capsule of time connected to the modem and the time Capsule set on ' router Mode: DHCP and NAT'.

  The server will probably be on Ethernet and must be connected to one of the LAN ports on the Time Capsule or via a switch connected to one of the ports LAN on the Time Capsule.

  You must configure the DHCP server in ad time Capsule the 192.168.1.100 your server as DNS server address.

  Maybe you have not configured the DHCP server on the Time Capsule, so it may still be using the default settings and therefore advertising address of the modem.

  I have upgraded to iOS 10, since the GM became available.

  A few days ago I noticed a spike in my use of the data on the report of my career, and I went to check on the iPhone, which was the cause. To my surprise, the culprit was DNS Services. The 515 MB I had used since the last reset (I have reset the same day as my service provider, on September 13) 466 MB were the DNS Services.

  On the carrier app I see that there are seven 16 490 MB consumed, compared with an average of 15 to 20Mb per day. So I guess that most of these 466 MB were made that day.

  466 MB of DNS queries are now something like 5 billion queries. Without WiFi connectivity, I was this day a total of 90 minutes maybe. Now, I did not use the iPhone except to listen to music (60 minutes walking the dog, another 30 on the car). I can't figure out how or what makes these applications.

  I reset network settings that day and things were back to "normal". Except that today ' today I see that there is an another 20 MB of queries DNS deployed since the 16th century. 20 MB of DNS request are always * a * much.

  Has anyone else noticed a greater amount of DNS requests with 10 iOS?

  Now the weird part is that everything was normal before the 16th century. And I installed the GM the day, it was released (which was... 1 week or two before?) and I were on the betas since weeks before. I can't remember or see something different or special made 16. A few days earlier, IIRC, there are a few updates to the carrier, but why or how, which would produce an increase in DNS queries?

  I tried to speak with the Apple Support, but the girl I mentioned with just told me incorrect and illogical things and got offended when I asked if she knew what a DNS query and closed the chat session. I guess I won't get any help there.

  Just for comparison: iPhone from a friend a total of 6.1 MB of DNS services for almost a year of use. I'm sure that the values will be around that mark if someone check their info.

  So, is it possible to follow what requests have been made (by which App, or what name has been resolved) so I can try to locate it?

  I'm trying to restore the iPhone, hoping that things will return to normal, but without knowing what and why it happened there is just a long shot.

  I am able to connect to the Internet using a web browser, so I don't have an ISP issue.

  I'll put in place the printer at home behind a CGD24N wireless router.

  The implementation for the browser does not use a proxy, so I have no proxy information.
