Hi Macyiorge,

·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 2: You can reinstall Visual C++ Library Runtime components.

You can uninstall all existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and check if it helps.

  • Error running Visual C++ by trying to patch Starcraft 2

    I was away from my computer for about seven months, and very little has changed in it while I was gone. On the way back, I tried to run Starcraft 2, and when the patch came I immediately received a runtime error, a snip which can be seen here: http://imgur.com/fOtf3.

    No other program on my computer shows no problem. It is impossible to play Starcraft without patch, and I'm stuck. As part of an attempt to solve this problem, I have:
    -Updated my video drivers
    -Scanned my HD to find errors
    -Defragged my HD
    -Do of course, I have all the important Windows updates
    Reinstalled or repaired all the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages that I could find
    -Reinstalled Java
    -Checked dxdiag
    -Run a registry fix
    -Run analyses of virus with multiple different programs
    -Tried reinstalling the program from the disk
    -Reinstalled and run the program in safe mode with networking
    -Made a new account administrator and moved there
    -Tried to run in a clean boot
    All this was without success. I tried to get the fix and update manually, and while the update does not receive the error, it works simply forever, over and over again without any result.
    Unfortunately I do not have a useful system restore point. Any help would be appreciated. I've been back for a few days with the Blizzard support on this and they are as confused as I am.

    Any help on the Forum of Starcraft?

    Its a total scam. Uninstall their software and then perform a system restore before you install.
    Change all your sensitive passwords at all sites - e-mail, Bank, credit cards and others. (Do not

    It is said that there is something not working only not with the driver

    You probably need to install some network drivers for your wireless card.

    Download drivers

    Visit the manufacturer's Web site and select your computer model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download drivers for your model. Download the driver (s) and follow the instructions to install - every computer is different, so I can't give you exact directions. You can also try to use Windows Update to get drivers - it is located in the start menu.

  • Error Microsoft Visual C++ library Runetime suddenly popping up with online games.

    Okay, so on Tuesday the MMO I play has it's normal maintenance where the end of it, I need to run the update. Then, I did it and THAT

    --> http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/1081/rawrsbmpl.png

    pop up. (Please excuse the background, although people in the SB would be all... not visible.) I did a LOT of things and nothing works. When I say things, I want to say I uninstalled like 8 times and even got rid of a trojon that I discovered that I was working on all that.

    However, it does not work. Here are a few more screens.

    1 :--> screen http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/3036/nonamed.png
    It is a screen indicating the file _ImagineUpdate in the Task Manager and in the MegaTen folder as well as the run-time error. What happens is every time I run the updater, a _ImagineUpdate file is created and the update tries to run away. It is supposed to run from C:\AeriaGames\MegaTen\ImagineUpdate.exe NOT C:\AeriaGames\MegaTen\_ImagineUpdate.exe, but whenever I close the error message, the update closes and the file _ImagineUpdate faints. Sometimes he will stay and I will delete it, and then it will say that another update is in progress. I opened the Task Manager and end the _ImagineUpdate process and try again... it's like a hoola Hoop, honestly!

    Screen 2 :--> http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/964/nonamen.png
    This screen shows how my internet started acting after uninstalling the first time. Every few minutes, he came out. (Cannot be bound.)

    Screen 3 :--> http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/188/utils.png
    This shows the useful tool that usually fixes the error c ++ give me it's own error x_X

    Screen 4 :--> http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8717/nodata.png
    And after a lot of work, I was finally able to enter the game... but it's what happened > _<. where="" it="" says="" no="" data="" there="" is="" supposed="" to="" be=""><>< well,="" other="">

    I thought he could have just this game but I've tried it on update to the Japanese version which is completely separate and he did exactly the same thing. I was and am still will download another game and try it but I doubt it will work. The strange thing is, this morning, I managed to log in fine. It's just the update is not working. Generally, this can be corrected by manual patching, but when I did that, it still does not work. He gave me the > screen.

    My sister thinks it's maybe I uninstalled something wrong before. It could be because I had uninstalled worth Turbine Downloader and dungeons and Dragons Online because D & D did not work properly. It should show the loading screen and then disappear. It would still be on my task bar, but it would not come. Only if cross administrator he would come to the top at the login screen. I connect and it made a loop as if I had not connected at all and prompted me to log in again. I did a few times before you decide to uninstall it. But before that, I had uninstalled the Turbine downloader which was the downloader that the game had me use to download with because whenever I tried to open the game, it would take me to the downloader again as if I needed to download the game, as if it wasn't already on my laptop. I thought that the Turbine was just goofy, so I'm off'd it.

    Maybe I didn't uninstall them properly and it is somehow focused on this problem, I don't know, but I really need fixed.

    If anyone can help, that would be great. I love this game and to do this it is really frustrating! If you need information about my system, just let me know and I'll give it a pleasure to you if you think he can help solve the problem.

    Please and thanks in advance!

    P.S. I have Vista, but the forum keeps this investment on Windows 7 :/

    EDIT: I also wanted to note that yesterday, I restored my computer. It shows that I still have D & D installed but not of Turbine. Just adding information which might or might not be useful.

    I should also mention that Windows has done the whole 'Windows note does' bit much? Like... almost every time I start up my laptop, I have to restart windows.

    DemyxTime,
    You can use The Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove programs that are unwanted (D & D, Turbine).  Also that States Runtime error, you should contact the developer of the software for more information.  You can check with their support: http://www.aeriagames.com/help, especially if you have already reinstalled the C++ and still have the error.  You can perform a clean boot on your system and see if that makes a difference.
