Your version of this manifest .NET file matches (except for the version number) review from the Base of knowledge, so you should try to replace it with Revision B (rename it to .xml NI .NET Framework 2.0 Language Pack x 86 Installer {F8ECD2D6-659C-49EB-8454-5F8F7B526FCF}). Make sure that you restart CVI after the file-swapping. I think that in order to solve your problem.   Unfortunately there is no mechanism to support this feature. A Variant that I would say is that instead to install your configuration files, you have your application create them if they are not detected. In this way, your installer doesn't have to include them and crushes them. The first time your application is run on a new machine, it detects that files are missing and create them with the default settings. Therefore, it will just read these files in. Your user name can change without fear of losing changes made to an upgrade.

  I had created an executable in LabVIEW 8.6 on a PC windows XP 32-bit. The application uses some screws of Vision. The executable is running in most of the PC except one. the PC is a windows 7 64 bit. I first got the error "Labview support 3 error code: could not load front". "" I fixed this by changing the settings of the source file in the application builder. Now I get the error message "VI a error 1002288.The full version of LabVIEW Development is necessary to correct the errors"and the exe displays a run button broken.»

  But if I build the exe in the same PC I get no error and it works very well. Moreover, I tested this exe in another PC with the same configuration, it works. I tried to reinstall labview in the PC, the problem persists.

  There is no official adapter for LabVIEW 8.6 in Windows 7. See link below.

  Upgrade to SP1 LV2009 should solve your problem. We had this problem with another client and update SP1 LV2009 solved his problem and should solve your problem too. If you have a problem after the update let me know.

  We have a copy of LV2013 and several copies of a LV2011 running. A project of LV originally written in LV 2011 was opened by the LV2013 and then saved in LV2013. Now when LV 2011 tries to open the project, there are very few errors loading.

  Open the project (or the toplevel VI) in 2013 and go to "file... except for the previous version. Selection 2011.

  Try to download and install the .NET Framework directly from Microsoft.  If you have already installed a version and get unsuccessfully with the update - you may want to uninstall the installed versions and the installation later.

  Do you have other agents running successfully with this SGD?

  1. try opening firefox in two your agent use Xwindows and see if: 4900/em/upload works. If not then the port must be open.
  2. open the two agents of your SGD server (ask your OS guys to do this in Unix). Check if you are behind the IP Net.

  -Your DMS receives no heartbeat and it's the reason for the failure of the download. So, check the port and open the agent hosts.

  We have a set of pre-built TestStand custom steps which consist of a DLL, ICO, couple of INI files of the IUR.

  A Kit of Distribution CVI 8.0 was created to install these files in the right places so that the development suite TestStand 3.5 can see IE:

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\StepTypes\Bin

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\Icons

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\Language\English

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\StepTypes\Uir

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\TypePalettes

  However, when the installation program is running (Administrator) some files never reach their destinations.  For example the ICO files do not appear in

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\Icons and language INI files are not in the

  Folder C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\Language\English.  It is on a PC Windows XP Pro SP2.

  Although custom steps work correctly a TestStand test Executive, when the sequence files that use are open in TestStand their icons are missing and made a right click put errors in the menu: "Resource File Missing", (or similar).

  Is this a permissions problem?  I know that in Vista and Win7 that the "Program Files" folder is locked close enough wise access, even if the account is administrator.  I don't think that it was a problem under Win XP!

  Any thoughts?

  Your .ico and .ini files are installed in the StepTypes directory. For example, C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 3.5\Components\User\StepTypes\Language\English\CS_OpDisplay.ini. I would check your installation tree structure in the files tab when editing your distribution. My guess is that the problem lies there.

• First HP Calculator virtual missing mfc120u.dll error since upgrading to version 1.21.8151.102

  The first HP Virtual calculator will not start since the last update (version 1.21.8151.102). A windows system error window appears when you attempt to start the calc virt, saying: "the program can't start because mfc120u.dll is missing on your computer.   Needless to say that "resettlement" has not fixed the problem.   I am running windows 7 64 bit - all the latest updates applied to MS etc had no problem until this version of the vCalc

  A possible scenario:

  • During installation, the 64-bit OS is recognized and installed the 64-bit version of the redistributable.
  • The emulator is probably a 32-bit version (compatibility, 32-bit programs usually work on 64-bit systems, but not vice versa).
  • There looking for the 32-bit version of the redistributable is not installed.

  Note, this is one of the many possibilities in the world of software. However, the fact that 32-bit programs require the redistributable 32-bit and 64-bit programs require 64-bit redistributable is why I suggested to install both versions.
