Error - unable to relay - invalid address: javax.mail.sendfailedexception

We send an email through dbms_email and usually it works fine.  But recently, we had problems with the mail to external domains to us.  Our admins have set the smtp server to relay emails to the outside, but we are still receiving the error.

We're running out RDBMS oracle 11.2.0.3 on RHEL5.7 with JAVA 1.6.0.32

The plsql:

Start

dbms_email. Send (sender = > 'my@email', )

recipient = > "external@email_domain"

CC = > null,

BCC = > null,

subject = > 'Test ',.

body = > 'Test ',.

attachments = > null)

end;

/

The sys.emailm table $ contains the following error message:

email. Send: mail failed: code: '-1', message: " javax.mail.SendFailedException: sending failed; "

nested exception is:

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid addresses;

nested exception is:

javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid addresses;

nested exception is:

"javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay": sender = < mymail >, < external e-mail > = recipient, cc = {null}, {null} = bcc, subject = Testing, body = trials, attachments = {null}

Any ideas?

It has been determined that when demand went through a load balancer IP address was changed for some reason any to what appears to be the gateway address.  The network guys are trying to understand... but so far no luck.

I will mark it as answered because it has nothing to do with the Oracle...

  • Javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException error ColdFusion 11: 451 4.7.0

    We are setting up a new server, SEE 11. We receive this error "error javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 451 4.7.0" in newspapers when we use the intrusion via cfmail, who has worked for years on a CF9 server. Mail is also in the undelivered folder. We can slide the coil, but it just comes back.

    We use MS Exchange 2013 and we added our servers CF11 IP address into the connector of the interface we use to relay messages to allow email from our server see

    If something has changed with how ColdFusion processes the e-mail of CF9 to CF11?

    I am sorry to say that I have this same problem.  We are still running CF10 and have * never * been able to connect to Exchange with intrusion via CFMail since upgrade to CF9, no matter what we tried.  Our solution was to use the file 'mail.jar' of CF9.  Just replace this in your CF installation directory and restart CF.  It works perfectly on our installation CF10.  Sorry, haven't tried on CF11 yet.

    Oh and keep this file mail.jar CF9 on hand, because many of the security updates that you install for CF will restore the original file of the mail.jar.  We simply copy the JAR of CF9.

    Wish I had a better solution for you.

    Check with your email provider that you have the correct settings.  If you use OE, then go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties and verify that the settings are correct.  You can also try to log via webmail if you have this option to determine if your ISP is having problems or if it's your computer.

    Hello

    There were multiple causes for the same problem, namely:
    (1) no valid address according to the Vertex - resolution here would be to find the name of the alias of the city for the Zip code (Google, zip - codes.com, etc.) and use it. You should see the result immediately.

    (2) Texas or Forida addresses where there is no link - often we see that there are multiple records in vertex for the city, and it generates an error. Here the safest option is to perform the encryption of the geography of vertices for these combinations and then update the same in Oracle as the substitution of GeographyCode (default value = "77000000") to remove vertex call. Alternatively, we can create a type AR Txn with the Classification of taxes as 'No' and then linking to a new order Type. Any order with this type of order will not call vertex.

    (3) military addresses - resolution is the same as 2 above.

  • Problems with Outlook Express (address book, mail open, etc.)

    Hi, I have a strange problem with my outlook express. The program opens ok, it synchronize the e-mail with the servers and so on. If you click on an email in the upper part of the window you can see the content below.
    Now, this is my problem, I can not doubleclick on an email to open it, I can't send an email or forward it. I can't open the address book.
    I get different messages, "it was not possible to open the address book, it cannot be installed correctly", "the message could not be opened, an error has occurred", "it was not possible to load the due address book that Outlook Express is not properly configured. Reinstall Outlook Express"and so on.
    I used this software for many years and the problem came from one day to the other. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the program from the Control Panel, I did a repair on XP installation, but it is always the same, is there anyone who has an idea (I know that Outlook Express is and old program, but it works very well for my needs).

    What about Nils

    First, try a new identity and see if that helps.

    You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identity | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

    Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

    All of these errors have the same cause.  Something is screwed up with your address book.

    It could be several specific problems, which include:

  • Error "Unable to read your flow." for RSS valid

    I'm looking to submit a custom podcast created to Apple via Connect of Podcasts. I'm getting an error "Unable to read your flow." wave without telling me what exactly is the problem.

    Food is works well in iTunes and check completely clean in the RSS W3 validator: e https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsassaman.com%2Frss%2Fcc

    I manually added the stream iTunes (version 12.3.2.35 on Windows 10) and it worked great for awhile. Every Sunday I add another episode of the feed and it downloads in iTunes, syncing my iPhone, everything works fine.

    Headers of the response of the application of wire - rss look good, correct content type and encoding. Food is displayed correctly in FireFox as well:

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK

    Cache-Control: private

    Content-Type: application/rss + xml; charset = utf-8

    Server: Microsoft-IIS/8.0

    X AspNetMvc-Version: 5.2

    X-AspNet-Version: 4.0.30319

    Date: Wednesday, February 24, 2016 02:13:22 GMT

    Content-Length: 21997

    So I can think of all possible tests the food is valid, including widely validated by Mark I eyeball that all tags are good. I'm puzzled.

    The only thing I wonder is that iTunes is somehow an analysis of enclosure and dislikes served from static links on Vimeo.com boxes? I wish there was some sort of mistake, I don't have an idea why it cannot read my podcast.

    Food seems to be OK. You have no episode 'itunes:subtitle' or 'itunes:summary' tags so your episodes show no description, but it would not have prevented the store read the stream. The episodes seem OK - the URL begins with https rather than http, but this used to be a problem it seems to be now. If they had problems with real media files episode the error message would say that they were "difficult to download episodes from your stream.

    So I don't know what the problem is. Maybe your server because the power is negative reaction to specific applications on the iTunes Store - this has been known to occur even though it is unusual - while being OK with the iTunes application and browsers. You can try to ask for the support of aid, but essentially they will only address problems at their end, not yours. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • Trying to submit a new podcast, I get the error "unable to analyze your diet." What does that mean?

    Trying to submit a new podcast, I get the error "unable to analyze your diet." What does that mean?

    There is nothing else with the error (I see references to problems with the exact lines of the RSS, but I don't get everything).  RSS feed works fine in a different podcast player.

    Please always post the URL of your feed, not its content. I'm assuming that your workflow is the one mentioned in the tag "atom: link".

    http://psychicreform.com/mosports/mosports.XML

    Feed validators are complaining that this line contains a prefix of "independent". I think it's probably because in the second line, "rss.xlmns" it does not mention "atom", only "itunes" - the URL in this line indicates the feed reader RSS how to interpret the tags for this application. Without link for 'atom', the tag is meaningless to readers, and it is marked as an XML error, which is enough to cause the feed unreadable. There is no need to have this line (Atom is a very old RSS reader which I doubt anyone uses now) and you'd better remove that line altogether, either that or somehow insert the URL of the atom, which seems to be "xmlns:atom ="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"" so that the second line would read as follows: "

    http://www.iTunes.com/DTDs/Podcast-1.0.DTD"xmlns:atom ="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"version ="2.0">"

    You will need to take one or the other or the feed will continue to be unreadable.
