  The 'local' part in the context of email addresses, the part to the left of the symbol @. The warning is a bit of a surprise, because in general the owner of a mail server is relatively free to specify the address format.   Freshly installed, all updates up to SP2, whenever I have open Windows Media Center, and then select Internet TV (TV + movies) I get an error stating:

  Nothing opens and I see all the icons TV.  I then click on the OK button and the app closes back to TV + movies (TV recorded - by default).  I can click on Play DVD, no problem.  I can click on the Netflix plugin (once again no problem).  The question seems to exist ONLY when I select 'Internet TV'.  I don't have a TV Tuner card in the machine, as well as setting up is not an option.

  Note: I am a COMPUTER technician for over 20 years and have researched the matter only of trying many fixes that don't work not including:

  • sfc/scannow (does report no error)
  • CHKDSK (no corruption of reports)
  • reinstalled MS silverlight
  • Installed the Netflix option
  • Parameters, make sure all the General internet settings are selected correctly
  • Disabling the firewall/AV
  • Change Windows MCE receiver opening Service of the Local Service Network Service logon

  Except to call Microsoft and forking over $99 - nobody knows what is the cause?

  Additional information:

  After starting Windows Media Center, and then selecting TV + movies, under the heading Internet TV a bit dimmed it says "BETA".  Not sure if this has something to do with it.  Also on my laptop which has Windows 7, the Windows Media Center interface is different and seems to work without problems.  What gives?

  Hello, I have three installed Netgear Powerline: XAV2101 XAV2101v2 and XAV5201. This small local network went very well during almost two years, and then, three days ago, there was a sudden and significant network slowdown. This means that the LAN run but with performance very very poor (unacceptable). I tried to reset all three adapter powerline without results. Any idea?

  Just for the information of the community, I found that the ethernet cable used to connect the router with the first map of poweline was probably damaged.

  I swapped the cable with a new one and now it seems Ok.

Now you might say that either the database field is not set to handle that many characters or CFC is limited more than 500 characters, but they are not. The database field is set to "memo" and maxlength in the CFC is set to 5000. I was wondering if has anything to do with the Access databases that I don't know because I don't use them often.

  I'm looking to automate a task daily (or almost) of my friends with a small script with powercli.

  I'm trying to "backup" or to clone a virtual machine, I work in a storage of one of our servers.

  The servers are managed by a 5.1 vCenter and the machine is on a shared storage.

  From time to time, I clean, stop the machine, remove all snapshots and clone the virtual machine to one of the local server as a backup storage. So I put together a small script which almost works. It works as long as the target data store is a shared storage, but not with a local storage.

  I get always an error that claims it can not access the local data store and is not a permissions problem...

  Given that I can accomplish this via the customer without problem I thought it is possible via powercli too, or I'm wrong?

  BTW, the clone step can be replaced by the New-VM cmdlet with the setting of the virtual machine.
