Ethernet, no driver controller?

I can't connect to the internet via a LAN connection. There is a question mark to 'other units, ethernet controller '. There is of course no driver installed. I reinstalled it windows XP earlier because I needed to clean the unit. At this time, I used an ISP with USB connection, now I changed to one that is connected via LAN, so I discovered the problem a little late. Driver downloaded from Dell broadcom ethernet, but I got the message that it was already installed, overwrite? I did but still a question mark by the ethernet controller. Could this be something to order drivers has been installed during the installation of windows?

  • Hard drive controller is released on the PC need help with setting up new controller

I have a HP with a built NVidia controller on the mobo.  The controller was an error and I am installing an Adaptec 2120SA on the system controller.  The computer sees the controller and it tries to start the operating system but has problems it BlueScreens and it blue screens quickly so I do not see the error code.  but I think it's because I don't have the drivers of the controller installed in the operating system.  I really don't want to reload the workstation.  Is it possible to install the drivers of the controller without starting the operating system I tried three other PC and they all have the same questions. as the driver for the controller is not there.  The OS is Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  The PC is no longer under warranty and a replacement MoBo is too much money.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi arjaywolverine,

There is a way that can be attempted to identify the problem and we'll see if it helps.
You need to extract the driver file from hard drive controller on a floppy/flash your motherboard CD drive, and then you restart the computer with the Windows Vista operating system DVD.

    1. turn on your computer and insert the CD or the DVD of Windows Vista.
    2. on the page install Windows, do not click on install now. Instead, click on repair your computer. The System Recovery Options dialog box appears.
    3. click load drivers and it prompts you to insert your floppy disk or USB key.
    4. navigate to the correct device and click Ok.

Once the drivers are installed correctly, remove the DVD and diskette. Restart the computer and who should do it.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Hello

I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer to change the BIOS settings and check if it is has updated the BIOS.

Important: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • NB510-109 - driver missing for Ethernet and network controller

    Hi again

I replaced the HARD drive on my NB510-109 and installed W7 32-bit teacher. Windows unfortunately has no Driver for my network controller and Ethernet. The seller of Ethernet is 1969 (Atheros), but the driver I found does not work.

The seller of network controller is 10EC (Realtek or Acer) but I can't find a driver.

Is there a link where I can load the original driver CD/DVD?

PS: I could not save the original data of my old HDD for HARD drive has not finished.

Are you looking for driver LAN or WLan driver?
I m asking because the network controller could mean the WLan or LAn card.

However, the laptop supports the Atheros LAN card and you must install the Atheros LAN driver.
The WLan card is made but Realtek. Its 802.11bgn RTL8188CE card Wlan.

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find two drivers Atheros LAN to Win 7 32 bit:
    v 2.0.9.9
    v 2.0.11.12

I recommend you to check them both.

Realtek WLan driver can be downloaded from Toshiba WLan Portal:

    Hello:

There is no graphics driver for Windows 7 32 bit for laptops with processors Intel Pentium N3510, so there is no point in providing me the other drivers you need because the graphics will never work right.

If you want to install Windows 7, then it must be W7 64-bit.

If you need to have a 32-bit operating system, you must run windows 8 or 8.1.

  • Network driver / controller Ethernet & Fusion 3

So, I upgraded my XP virtual machine in Fusion 3 without problem.  Everything worked well.  I then upgraded XP to Windows 7.  When I start Windows 7, it says "NO internet connectivity.  When you check Device Manager, you can see no driver is installed for the ethernet controller / map networ.  I tried to install VM Ware no tools yet... still no luck.

I had this EXACT same issue on my machine at home (iMac) and my work machine (Macbook Pro).

Any help would be appreciated.  Where can I get the driver for the ethernet controller? How can I solve this problem?

    Roger

What is a little card NETWORK Windows 7 hardware question about when he asks a device driver? What to say about the network card which it is found, the Device Manager?

If Windows 7 is like Vista, it is probably not an AMD PCnet NIC driver out of the box. If you upgraded from a Windows XP VM, NETWORK card is probably available to the virtual machine as the NIC PCnet, which would explain why Windows 7 complains about a missing driver.

My bet is that Windows 7 virtual machines have the same type of the virtual NIC by default under Vista VMs. (I don't have a copy of Fusion 3 yet to try this out). Default values for VMS of Vista are, in my view, an Intel e1000 NIC, with Vista a driver out-of-the-box for.  Try closing the virtual machine (not suspend), change the type of the virtual machine OS began thinking that it is a Windows 7 VM, not a Windows XP virtual computer, and then restart the virtual machine. See if the NETWORK adapter receives a claimed device driver.

If this does not work, stop the virtual machine, leave Fusion and add the following line to the .vmx file found in the whole of the virtual machine:

    ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000".

Start the Fusion and the virtual machine and see if the device is correctly assigned driver.

You need to understand what the material is, visit the web page of the manufacturer (on another machine), download the software (drivers) for the hardware in the machine, copy it on this machine (USB key, etc.) and install.

I had installed Win 8 intended to test and when it is again installed win 7, I'm missing my network and Ethernet controller drivers. I don't see any network except for Bluetooth network card adapters.

Tried to install the drivers from the SONY site but in error.

    Apart from these 2 drivers

    Simple PCI controller communications

    SM Bus controller

    are also missing.

Please let me know the solution how to install the drivers and where to look for it.

IMP Note: if I install the trial win 8 again, I'll have all my drivers after installation, but during the installation of Win 7, they disappear.
