Eve to export virtual folders are not removed

All the world has noticed that since 5.4.3.106 update 3 virtual pending cases are not removed from c:\ProgramData\AppRecovery\MountPoints on the database server.

Abducted in the past but currently up to 735 empty folders now.

Updates on virtual hold perform very well by the way.

I would ask here, because all I get my thinking support ticket is an email asking me every week or so if it is still a question, don't know why they think it's resolved.

@fredbloggs - I didn't notice that, however I will follow up with the in-house team of tomorrow and we'll do some tests on it as soon as possible.  What is the support of AppAssure SR # you opened?  I'll follow upward with the engineer who has worked on this.

@Emte - there is 1 problem found 3 update when it came out.  The patch was released Friday and was fired Monday. It is no longer available for download on any Dell site. The issue was that, when the hotfix has been installed it stopped recording in the AppRecoveryPM.log file on the agent and anything but a point that has been saved in the AppRecovery.log file on the kernel.  There is no problem found with the features of the patch, simply logging.  It has been republished two days later, with the same exact man and meta info.  There is no way of telling apart patches.  I can assure you that the patch which can be found here - support.software.dell.com/.../download-new-releases is the right.  The patch number is P-001517.  I recommend logging on your heart and the agent.  If you attempt to start or stop the basic service and no entries are saved in the file indicating is the kernel start or stop, and then it's the old patch that has the problem.  In this case, please uninstall it and download a new copy from the support site and install it.

  • Desktop icons can be seen on the desktop, folders are not able to be open, content is not visible; File save option does not work!

    Recently, I tried to re - install samsung smarthru mfp program (already installed and working except the scan).

    at the end of the reinstall the Office is empty, desktop wallpaper and all records of icons could not be seen, I wasn't able to use windows Explorer.

    I tried restoring the system, but even after that the message that the restore system was not made completely.

    Now the problems are that (1) folders/icons on the desktop are not displayed on the desktop (I have added Office to taskbar and all office files can be accessed from there.

    (2) the big problem is that folder except option does not work: cannot save Web pages, also the documents/files are not able to be saved after having published a new name.

    (3) new folder names the names of the files are not created.

    I tried norton internet security 2010 full scan, there is no virus.

    Norton will be interefe with system restore.

    1. If you use Norton (Etc), disable it before using System Restore. info at the link above.

    2. try SR in safe mode:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    3 Malware will stop at the system restore:

    If necessary, do all the workSafe Mode with network.

     

    To get intoSafe Mode with network, press F8 at the Power On / boot and use key arrow upward to get intoSafeMode with networking from the list of options, and then press ENTER.

  • Virtual copies are not synchronized in a second Lightroom Catalog even if the metadata are written in XMP and synchronization with the metadata has been selected

    I use a Mac with 5.7 of Lightroom which is configured to store all the metadata in the xmp files. The Lightroom Catalog is stored locally on the Mac and contains only references to images and their xmp files that are stored on a network device. There is another Mac with the same setup with a local separate Lightroom Catalog and access to the same images on the network device.

    At a starting point, the two Lightroom catalogs are identical - they refer to the same images on the network device and contain the same metadata.

    When I update the properties of the image on the first Mac, these changes are reflected in the xmp file. After using the option 'synchronize' with activated "metadata synchronization" on the second Mac, the modified image properties are visible on the second Mac. It is very good.

    However, when I create a virtual copy on the first Mac, I realize that the corresponding xmp file is updated. However, even after the synchronization, the virtual copy is not visible on the second Mac. I can change the properties of the image of the original image and get these changes replicated to the second Mac, but the virtual copies remain the first Mac.

    What should I do also virtual copies get synchronized?

    As far as I know, xmp does not contain information about the virtual copies. If this method to attempt to synchronize two catalogs will not work.

    Better you should use the file-> Export catalog on a single computer and then file-> import from another catalog on another computer.

  • Playlists within folders are not displayed in alphabetical order.

    My playlists within folders are no longer displayed alphabetically. The playlists of a folder sort order used to sort the smart playlists listed first, sorted alphabetically and then regularly following playlists, also in alphabetical order. The default order appears to be dictated by the order in which I add a playlist to a folder. Is there a way to go back to get my playlists displayed in alphabetical order in a folder?

    It is since October of 2012 because I regularly used last iTunes. At the time, I was on iTunes under Windows XP. I am back in iTunes on my new Mac and finds that some things have changed.

    I use iTunes 12.3.2.35 for Mac (OS X El Capitan V 10.11.2).) I searched the internet with so many phrases that I could think of a solution, but don't see any recent threads on the topic.

    So I would really appreciate help with this!

    If your problem isn't at all like mine, I have a solution for you.  Two things.  First of all, you will probably get their back to alphabetical simply quit iTunes and restart.

    However, you may need also a more involved issues like I did.

    I had not only of new playlists are going down, but in many cases (but not all), any playlist I clicked on that jump down!  I came across a solution today.  I was working on one of the selections that are still in place, but changed the opinion of "Playlist" (the one that shows a small pocket followed by the name and some other information file) to a called «movie Lists»  "Lists of film" is a playlist folder that contains a number of smart playlists, including the one I was working on.

    Well, as soon as I changed from this point of view, this playlist jumped to the bottom of the list.  Then, I checked all the smart playlists in each playlist file.  Of course, everything that had the view set to the name of the folder that they were kept jumping around.  I could change the 'Playlist', or 'Movies' (or what type the playlist was for), or 'Genre' and they move.

    So I suspect that if your playlist jumps down when you click on it, if you check your records, you will find that point of view is the problem.   Change the display (selection on the top right side, just under the box "search") and solve the problem.  Then, quit iTunes and restart to bring back them to alphabetical.

  • Certain files and folders are not detected by Windows Explorer (XP).

    I created 15 files in a folder on a shared network drive, associated with another computer. My computer is running XP x 64 v. 2003 SP2, and the computer server (the one with the shared drive) has v.2002 XP Pro (32-bit) SP3.  When I open the folder in Windows Explorer I see only 12 folders. When I tried to rename one of the 12 visible files to match the name of one of the 3 missing files I get an error (file exists!). What is all too weird, when I select all and delete 12 deleted records and previously missing 3 appears.

    Has also had a similar problem with entire folders. The Explorer does not see the folder but when I create a shortcut by typing the path of the folder manually and click on the shortcut, the name of the file appears in Solution Explorer!

    All files and folders are visible when I connect on the 32-bit computer. There is no difference between the files/folders regarding the permissions or security settings are concerned. Other users have experienced the similar problem. I tested this on 2 other computers on the same network. On a 32-bit computer, everything works fine, but on another 64-bit computer, I get the same question of file disappears.  It seems to suggest some incompatibility between Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit XP systems.  Any suggestions how to fix it? It's really frustruting...

    The files appear when you refresh the Explorer window by pressing F5 (or view-> Refresh)?

  • Shared with me on Skydrive folders are not appearing in Skydrive App on my Pro Surface

    My wife has several folders shared on his Skydrive account with mem (complete edition access)... these records are not displayed in my Skydrive on my Surface Pro application.  Is there any solution for this?  To access or download on shared folders, the only way is to connect to skydrive.com via my browser... How cumbersome and seems ridiculous that this feature could be neglected in the app to Skydrive.  Anyone have the same problem or is it just me?

  • Virtual machines are not able to access the network after you have moved the host

    We moved our 4 ESX host to a different physical switch and now our VMs cannot access the network.

    I can access the host via client vsphere.  Our host has 2 network cards.  They are both members of the vSwitch0.  I have 1 VM network defined, and they are both members of it.  The network adapters, vmnic0 and vmnic1 are also part of my VMkernel which I do not know that I need because I have 1 ESX Server and do not use iscsi or NFS.

    the two cards are also part of my service console.

    According to my host "configuration / display: vitual switch, it looks like all my virtual machines are defined to use the vswitch."

    the two physical network adapters is connected to the same switch.  I did not go to any configuration on the switch.

    Welcome to the community,

    It sounds as if the physical switch ports are not configured correctly. Please check that port security is disabled on the switch (switchport mode access) ports and spanning tree portfast is (if any).

  • EA6300 - FTP server - share folders are not available

    I am trying to create a new user to access my Linksys EA6300 using the option "authorized users."

    It was my steps:

    But there are no options to choose.

    I am able to connect using the new user by using internal or external network. But, I see any files or folders, and I'm not able to download any file.

    The admin user has also no record within the stock option. But if I connect using admin, I am able to see the contents of the FTP server and work without problems.

    I use the version of the firmware 1.1.40. (build 153731).

    I would like to test the old 1.1.39 version (Build 149770), but I'm afraid to download it from a website that is not Linksys.

    I found the reason.

    First I have to click on the link "Show all actions" just above the button "Add a user" to prepare "further action".

    Then the shares will be available to create new users.

  • local folders are not visible, are these same as Archive?

    Online my quota is full, and I want to download and keep a lot of mail in a dozen different files online. How can I download and protect/backup/backup these so that they will not be deleted when I delete them the server when Thunderbird then goes online. There is no "local folders" visible on my list of folders. How can I find/create them? And what is the difference between the archives and local folders? Sorry if this is obvious, but I'm used to POP and can't get out!

    (AQlt + V) view menu > file > all will locate the "local folders.

    Archive is really where you say it is. The default IMAP is an archive folder in the IMAP account.

    Menu (alt + T) tools > account settings > snapshots files allows to 'SOLVE' the folder of archive in a folder in any account you like. Local folders is an option.

    Also take the time, then, to consider the options of archive about the layout of the folder and make sure that it is how you like. (Keep the existing folder structure is not a default choice)

    Anyway, we've had this NAS200 for a year or two now and there was no problems until recently.

    We have various accounts and folders in the storage and one of them is the shared folder A.

    Lately, when I try to open A shared folder, it tells me:

    I checked my settings of the user and be the admin for the NAS, I have the abilities to read/write for all files in the NAS.

    I checked the folder via the drive (using Windows 7). Unlike other files, the shared folder A, does not display the availability offline and offline status. As follows:

    A shared folder has no display of the State, such as updated folder.

    I'm confused as to what is the problem.

    "Insufficient resources" means that the Samba on the NAS server ran out of memory. It shouldn't happen, but it does. The reason is probably that you did a lot of operations on files at the same time (for example copy the entire directory tree), and Samba tries to keep information about each file in memory. You have probably seen it slow down much until you lost the connection.

    The problem will probably resolve once you restart the NAS server: push the power button on the rear closed (it emits a beep to confirm the press the button, then after a minute or two, the lights will be turned off), then press again to start (you will hear a beep, followed after a few minutes of another beep to confirm that it is online). Don't just pull the plug or you can corrupt your data.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones mail folders are not displayed on the Blackberry

    I have a Blackberry 8703e and uses the Internet Service Option to connect my Blackberry to my personal email account.  Everything works fine except that none of the folders on my personal email account appear on the Blackberry.

    I tried everything, making sure that the reconciliation wireless is enabled, redownloading the books service, to reconcile BlackBerrys, etc..  I probably spent 5 hours trying to get this to work.

    Another interesting point - to the Blackberry Desktop Manager section "Intellisync", the option to "reconcile the messages" is grayed out so that I can not select even

  • Scheduled interruption now our virtual machines are not available

    OK, so we had to a powerdown scheduled this weekend last add extra power.

    We have a VMware ESX Server 3i, 3.5.0 123629 and a HP MSA 1500.

    Before the stop time, everything worked perfectly and we had close to a dozen of VM production on an area of 585 GB on the MSA 1500.  He was given a LUN ID #1 and connected to the server via Fibre Channel ESXi through a fiber switch.

    Now, when we powered the ESXi Server upward all the VMS in the spectacle of the inventory "(inaccessible) unknown". (Configuration & gt; Storage) we do not see the 585 GB data store.  If I click on "Add storage..." ' and select "Disk/LUN" and click next it shows:

    Feature: vmhba2:0:1 capacity: 585.94 GB available: SAN 585.93 identifier: 50:05:08:b3:00:92:ca:79 LUN: 1

    If I click Next in the wizard, it says "HDD is empty."  UH no!  I know that the drive was not a Virgin!

    I certainly don't want to proceed with the wizard and format annihilate all our VM production! How can I recover from this disaster?
