Everytime I open a new tab, a Web site opens upward, even if I put a page white as the opening page. How can I stop this?

When I open a new tab, it automatically changes to "http://www.bigseekpro.com/search/dns/anyvideo2dvd/{F8DC2913-2606-401B-8AED-0345AD711130}? q =bigseekpro.com/anyvideo2dvd/{F8DC2913-2606-401B-8AED-0345AD711130}? s_src = newta.

This started after I installed a software recently. I uninstalled this software now. I even put the page as "empty". Also, click on the button "restore default".
But the problem persists.

(it is not happen when I open firefox, only happens when I open a new tab, while firefox is already open)

How can I change this back to normal? I need only a blank page to open.

  • In the address bar, type Subject: config and press ENTER.
  • In the filter at the top, type: keyword. URL
  • Double click top and delete everything in it and replace it with http://www.google.com/search?q=

The URL to add in "keyword. URL"becomes a link in this message, right-click and choose"Copy link location"to copy it to the Windows Clipboard. Then press CTRL + V to paste. You have to type all of this saves.

If your homepage has changed too, follow these steps.

  • Go to the site you want to set as your home page. If you want a blank page, type: Subject: empty in the address bar and press ENTER.
  • Go to Tools | Options | General .
  • Make sure that it says in the first drop 'show my home page'.
  • Click on the button called "use current Pages' to set the home page to the one you have on the screen.

After completing the steps above, install this add-on to prevent another search engine to change your preferences: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/browserprotect/
