Hello.
I hope that this support article is what you need:
http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/session+restore
If this does not help, it is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem. See this article for more information on troubleshooting extensions and theme and this one for plugins.
If you need help with one of your modules, you will need to contact the author.

can open the home page but can not load other Web pages.
I recently installed a network of a company of friends. They have a 8 computers on their network. To start connected the modem cable to router linksys n wireless and then I plugged an EZXS16W linksys 16 port switch. Everything works very well for about a month, until last week. Everything starts fine in the morning when they turn on all computers and continues for a few hours. After that, they can open their home pages (each computer has a differnet one) but when you try to view another web page, it can take up to 10 minutes, or never at all load. If I reboot the router and switch everything goes back to normal several hours then happen again. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Firefox does not account settings to open the home page to start and open rather the previous tabs
Opening of Firefox, the browser displays my previous session, despite my selection 'display the homepage' or 'show white screen' on the opening.
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder (a detailed list of the system shows that you have) which defines the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once to true.
(I noticed that the mozillaZine knowledge base is down at the time of this posting)
The user.js file will be present if you or a other software created this file and normally will not present.
The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/profiles
Windows hides certain default file extensions.
Among them .html and .ini and .js and .txt, and you can see only a file name without file extension.
You can check the file extension (type) in the file properties in Windows Explorer via the context menu. -

Hello
Would appreciate if someone can help me.
Web site: www.Paris-Pet.com
A flash video plays on the index page. The next action is placed in the last frame of the video in Flash:
navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.paris-pet.com/home.html"));
It does not work as expected with one exception: instead of heading to the home page of the index page when the video is finished, it opens the home page in a second window, leaving empty flash movie browser window. Is not the seamless design, I hoped, and I have also been informed on some computers, blocking of pop-up windows up preventing them transition smoothly to the rest of the web site.I would like the redirection to open the home page in the same window of the browser as the film in the index page has played.
Help, please. Print designer in over his head.
JM
"_self" specifies the current frame in the current window.
"_blank" specifies a new window.
"_parent" specifies the parent of the current image.
"_top" specifies the top-level frame in the current window.navigateToURL (http://www.paris-pet.com/home.html, "_self");
FYI... it's really a question of actionscript. If you have more problems, you can ask in the flash forums (you'll more help there than here)

I run 3.6.13 I tried to install the beta 4. 11, it downloads and installs, it opens the home page, but's, er beat works but Firefox is not responding, I mean as in nothing, he died, you click anywhere on the toolbar, and it's like a dead dog.
One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container.
