Expandable HP 15-d069wm or Pro graphics card. ?

Hello, I recently bought an Hp touchsmart laptop computer 15-d069wm I would like to know it, it would be possible for me to update my graphics card and also upgrade my Core i3 Pro to an i5. ? Thank you

The upgrade of the graphic module is viable if you have a model that has been delivered with disctrete graphics. ON UMA models, it is not possible.

Upgrade the CPU to an i5 is feasible. There are specific processors that are compatible. See This Guide to maintenance and Service. Note that this manual is designed for technicians.

Be aware that if you upgrade the processor yourself and something goes wrong, warranty will not cover it. You will be on your own.

If you're a hardcore gamer, I recommend Geforce GTX680, although if you're not the case, I recommend ATI RADEON 5770 or 5870.

  • What can I use to search for a Microsoft has agreed to AGP Pro graphics card to make a visible improvement on my computer screen?

I have an ASUS computer (actually it's a DIY chassis and motherboard ASUS with CD/DVD player and it is a real improvement over what I used, but I want to upgrade a NVidia 6200 AGPto graphics card of PRO for an improvement in Visual acuity and a cleaner profile.) Most computer retail online places like Comp-USA sell all these PCI cards and same NEW EGG does not list Pro AGP card. So while I'm looking I thought why not find a "Microsoft approved" AGP card?

    Hello

Step 1: You may need to search the drivers updated through windows update.

    See: http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/vistadefault.aspx?ln=en-us

Step 2: otherwise, you may need to search for drivers by using your favorite search engine.

Only upgrades would be to replace the D300 with the D500 or of the D700. You can get them on eBay or elsewhere. Apple does not sell to them.

    Hello:

Before investing money in a different video card, try to manually install the graphics driver for the GeForce 6700 W8.

To install the driver manually, start by downloading this free utility for files.  The 2nd file is 64-bit.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

Then download but do not run the graphic driver Nvidia W8 for the 6700 from the link below.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/82758/en-us

After you install 7 - Zip and downloaded the graphics driver, right-click on the graphic driver file.

Select 7 - zip from the list of options and extract 7 - Zip: and leave it to decompress the file in his driver's record.

Once the driver file was extracted from his file, go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of device of graphics cards.

Click on the map to display Microsoft base listed there.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Then restart the PC.

If this does not work... your PC has only a supply of 250 W power specifications.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-p6700-desktop-PC-series/5035348/model/5049541/document/c02628244/

An appropriate card that works with a this power supply would be the GeForce GT 610.

He draws a max of 29 watts, and there are W10 drivers for it.

  • Space HP DC 5800 SFF: upgrade graphics card

I have a HP DC 5800 SFF, computer office I'll install a Nvidia GeForce GT 610. The Office has a supply of 240 W.

My question is. 240 W power will be enough to manage the GT 610 or I have to update my diet?

    Thank you in advance

    Bob

    Hi, Bob:

As food is the owner you do not have the option to upgrade.

The good news is that the GT 610 attracts only a maximum of 30W, so the 240W P/S in your dc5800 should be good.

There are a few things you need to know when installing any video card in your PC.

    1. prior to installing the card, go to Device Manager, click to expand the category of device of graphics cards, do a right-click on the Intel graphics card, select uninstall, check the box uninstall driver and stop and unplug the machine.

Then install your new video card.

    2. after the installation of your video card and drivers, you will notice that the sound board disappeared because the card has an HDMI output port.

Back in the day, these old class PC business had a BIOS that had no idea of what a HDMI output port has been and as there is an audio chip on the video card circuit to work the HDMI audio output, the BIOS of the PC think that not only you have installed a video card , but he thinks that you have installed a map audio too.

So, it disables the integrated audio system and onboard video.

After installing the graphics driver nvidia, restart the PC, go into BIOS > Advanced menu > submenu device options, find the onboard audio setting (not there before installing the video card).

It will be set to Disabled.  Set to enabled, save the setting when you have completed the change and again when you exit the BIOS.

After the PC restarts, the integrated audio system will be restored.

I want to update my graphics card to something better and I have no idea of what I put in the card. Ideally, I would like to put the last possible graphics card that is compatible for this.

I don't know what I would look for PCI or PCI - e and what diet I would look for that would support such a computer "arcane".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

the 2009 mac 4.1 pro can be upgraded to a number of current spare cards from Nvidia and AMD, but in many cases the cards require custom flashing of the Distributor and custom drivers. You need to buy a card with a distributor of mac because versions "Windows" of these cards will not work out of the box and OS X will not support without 3rd party drivers. This procedure is not recommended by apple that would rather you buy a new mac pro and again I want to say something for $5K, which offers the latest GPU is already 3 years old.

research on the Web "Mac Pro 4.1 GPU" for more details.

  • MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee

    Hi all

end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

    My questions:

    • After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
    • What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?

Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...

I would appreciate any recommendations and links!

    Best regards

    Rahel

-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board

-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.

-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?

This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.

  • Mac Pro equipped with graphics cards

    (1) Apple certified repair done remarkable work or replacement of these cards, seemed as it did thousands due to schools, universities, colleges had all the problems that I did.

    (2) now did the-d option to initialize the data sent to Apple and have assigned Senior Adviser.

    (3) most recent problem is error codes and system dead slow on my second Mac Pro 6 hearts. Now, does not see my Amd hardware, which is extremely strange to say the least.

    (4) 2 weeks no words or calls returned Senior Advisor, still more serious delays to write make some income with new Mac Pro.

    (5) what did not work is not, the example is iMovie stutters sound.

    (6) final Cut Pro sound of of synk

    (7) k video from my new iPad Pro 4 who made 4 K video sent to dump not recognized on Mac Pro system after that reminder of graphics cards has been made.

so waiting for words from Apple on the d option played 4 times.

Nope... but... all I can do is give you my experience. I got a G5 liquid that had major failure 3 times (was under AppleCare) and has been replaced with a Mac pro. I guess you have tried the usual, killer stuff pram resetting the PMU, trying to reinstall and update the operating system and various applications to this topic and all that, and... nothing. Apple does not read or respond to these forums, cmdrDenis, this place is strictly a user forum, and that's all. Save all your receipts, paperwork, document as much as you can and when you talk to Apple or an adviser, be polite, but pragmatic.  Screaming, yelling, Ranting and raving you will get very far.  If you go to apple.com/feedback and leave a comment there, someone can get back to you. Call the main line from Apple can be useful too, but about what, when and how

I can't say. Apple * may *, in its sole discretion, replace a machine that has had too many major repairs, or repair, but it's Apple to do.  Maybe if you call your local Apple place, explain the situation calmly and kindly and ask to speak to another senior consultant or Manager, perhaps they can help you.

  • Main problems to upgrade the graphics card in my Mac Pro in 2006.

I am trying to upgrade the graphics card OEM in my Mac Pro 2006 to a Radeon HD 4870 1 GB graphics card.  I have big problems.  The previous owner recommended that my BONES 10.7.5 uninstalling and reinstalling.  I don't know how to do this.  The Apple website was no help with this issue.  The previous owner gave me a lot of procedures I've ever done before, including removing and re-creation of my RAM and using a Kext troubleshooting application.  Any suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

a 4870 with 1 GB of VRAM is not a real Mac card (who had only 512 MB of VRAM). Unlikely to show an image until the login screen, if ever. Unless the seller has a 100% guaranteed working procedure to get this working, I recommend you return for a refund - it is not likely to work in your Mac.

A true 5770 Mac or 5870 is the best approach for a 2006 or 2007 Mac Pro, because they are known to work with everything except movies under copyright, and your Mac is stuck in the 32-bit kernel and pre - 10.7.5 MacOS.

  • Satellite Pro P300 - update graphic card and CPU

I have a Satellite Pro P300 and I was wondering if the CPU or the graphics card can be improved?

I really like my laptop, but an upgrade is imminent and before I take the plunge I just want to see if it is all options other than a new laptop.

    Hello

Processor and graphics card update is not supported and there is no list with compatible processors. If everything is on your own risk. In the worst case a new processor will not be recognized from the motherboard or BIOS, probably you need a new module of cooling too so I wouldn t this

In addition, the graphics card is attached to the motherboard and cannot be exchanged.

  • Satellite Pro 4600 - CPU overheating graphics card?

16 days ago my tosh Satellite Pro 4600 has lost the ability to maintain 25 fps in a game online - IE. Diablo 2.
He now plays to an average of 4 frames per second and ping gets up to more than 4,000... Needless to say that now, unplayable...

I reinstalled the game... installed new XP and game on the D drive...
Same thing... a program called SpeedswitchXP shows CPU use fluctuating 54 to 420, because the clocked processor slot general tab of my computer displays 422 now, not the 847 mhz it used to.

Still, he surfed on the net and plays yahoo games of cards for example. at lightning speed, but not a rpg online... there work perfectly at 25 fps on average for 3 years... Irretrievably overheating / damaged CPU, graphics card?
Anyone know? Another temp. program shown running at 64 c is worth a new motherboard?

I can get one? Any ideas?

    Hello

First of all, he should know that the processor and GPU performance are dynamically.
This means that the speed and the performance changes if the temperature reaches a critical threshold.
This could lead to performance degradation.

In your case, the laptop is about 3 years old and I think that it s time to clean the fans to prevent the notebook from overheating.

You can try to use the jet of professional compressed air to get rid of dust and debris.
Such spays you can buy computer retailer.
