I would like to export the data from the year 2008 only, and the condition is on a timestamp column is...

DB is 11g R2

Quotation marks, apostrophes etc... will be a big problem in the command line. It is dependent on the operating system, and you must use escape characters. Please use one parfile and you don't have to worry about those.

You must use the settings file. Another question, I see you are using 11g. Why don't you use a data pump.?
Data pump is faster and has more features and that regular improvement imp and exp.

You can do the following:

sqlplus / as sysdba

Create directory DPUMP_DIR3  for 'Type here your os path that you want to export to';

then tap on a file:
Touch par.txt

In this file, type the following line the following:

tables=schema.table_name
dumpfile=yourdump.dmp
DIRECTORY=DPUMP_DIR3
logfile=Your_logfile.log
QUERY =abs.texp:"where hiredate>'01-JAN-13' "

then proceed as follows
expdp username/password name parfile = 'par.txt'

You will import to Oracle 11 g to 10g version should add 'version = 10' parameter in the above setting file

Remote Desktop sessions fail with the error of data encryption

All my remote desktop sessions attempts fail with an error of bull data encryption *. It seems that half of the world has this error and no one can provide an answer. Before binding you to an answer without value, it is all my clients servers with Windows Server 2003-2011 everything, cannot RDP to any of them.

Most suggested answers a problem of router or server specific problem or suggest disabling large unloading on the network card. Well, this problem hooked 30 + servers I've tried lately. I tried with unloading defined on deactivate and activate. I tried ethernet and wifi. I tried to do different internet connect, work, home to various customer sites.

In other words, I can no longer use RDP to connect to servers on ANY connection. It simply doesn't work anymore.

I run Windows 7 32 bit and this couple suddenly some days ago. Before you start, no virus, no updated drivers... blah blah blah.

The first day, he started, he wouldn't let me RDP via VPN but if I went through the external IP (mapped ports). Then, it only works if I was on ethernet, not the wireless. Then he just decided it wouldn't work at all. Today, that I even tried to get back into the work remotely via RWW and the RDP ActiveX... did not work. Tried both servers a SBS 2003 to 2008. Nope.

XP has a ten years more of life. Win7 has done roughly three years, now it starts to fall apart.

If you can fix this before moving on to Windows 8, and without having to wipe my whole PC, it would be much appreciated.

I have a problem with Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 when using expdp with %U in the name of dumpfile the %U won't solve a certain number and decided instead of the letter U, see below, for example.

The output is a dumpfile called 'DMP_U.dmp', errors of export with ORA-39095: dump file space is exhausted.

Windows uses % as a special symbol for the expansion of environment variables. Either put the arguments in a file parameter as already suggested or discover escape the % character in command of Windows scripts. It may just be a case of double the % or it could be something else entirely.

Not possible AFAIK. The encryption associated with command line switches all wear them on encrypting the dump files and nothing else. The only way for datapump to read the data of transparent data encryption is if the portfolio of database level is open. This is possible at the level of the database with an alter database command.

I think you're out of luck, you'd have to somehow coordinate when you extract with when the team opens the wallet.

Inconsistent database query error
I get an error for a simple display query. I use MS Access and CF8. The error is as follows:-

Run database query error.

And to clarify that two single quotes.

The query I use is as follows: -.

SELECT *.
OF tbl_positionRequest
WHERE position = ' #URL. Position #'
ORDER BY Position CAD

He said that the error occurs in the line WHERE.
The variable is passed correctly, I the debugged in the origin and home page. The funny this is that the output in the debug information is correct when I run it in access and the same query works for another data base (with different domain names).

In CF Admin I use access Unicode driver and I think that might be the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Run the query with just the select and from clauses. Do not display the data, just look at the recordcount. I guess a word reserved with position problem.

Problem with query (Date)

The problem is twofold.
(1) suboptimal SQL
(2) dependent data "bug".
You change the code, change the data or live with this error
