Maybe the video is corrupt...

You may need to update your video driver...

If it happens only with a few clips... you could
import them into Movie Maker, drag them to
the chronology and turn.
Tools / video effects / rotate...

Then you would have to publish (save) the
rotation of file/s.

  • How can we download WMV (Windows media video)?

How can we download WMV (Windows media video) because the thing is that my walkman can play wmv files and its not downloaded on my computer. I tried windows media player, but it did not work!

If you say that you have downloaded video clips
who are in a different format... the solution would be
    to convert to WMV format.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • Windows Media Video - at the end, go next?

    Hello

I searched this forum for the answer and not found. I also have trial and error using the manual and I can't make it work.

I want my head to go to the section while playing a Windows Media Video. At the end of the movie, I want it 'go then. '

I have this, but it is not continuous:

    on exitFrame me
If the PlayRate of sprite 1 = 1 then
    go to the section
    end if

It does not work as Director because it's yet to play even if the end of the film has been reached. I've not turned loopback.

So I thought that I needed to know the duration of the video in ticks and can do some Lingo that is based on that, but I don't know how to do this.

    Tips are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

OK, I got it. I used the Message window and 'put' to get the total time, then used this:

    on exitFrame me
    If .currentTime sprite (1)< 47250="">
    go to the section
    end if
    end

    Thank you!

  • How to make a Windows Media video file .wmv in FireFox? What is the name of extension or add-on required?

    I have Windows 7 and FireFox 24.0

I'm doing a standard Microsoft Media Video file. MWV run. When I click on the video link to plant video, I get a message saying that I need a plugin to run the file.

I already ran into Setup on the link below. This installer named wmpfirefoxplugin.exe does not install anything in my FireFox plugins list or the list of Extensions.

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/play-Windows-Media-files-in-Firefox?ESAB=a & As = AAQ

Where else can I try make FireFox run a. File MWV?

Hello, please try this: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named plugins.load_appdir_plugins. Double-click it and change its value to true (a restart of the browser may be needed later for the change to take effect).

  • Windows Media Player playback speed problem - static...

I play an MP3 to an audio book on WMP file and when I go on it 2 X normal playback speed, suddenly the sound produces a static noise. The audio is always readable, but static electricity is super annoying.

Do you know what causes this and how to fix it?

    Thank you very much

Thanks for the tips... I found actually an ideal solution that completely eliminated the problem...

I previously converted the audio book in MP3 format, and as I said, I had that static when going above 2 X the playback speed.

Well, what I did to solve the problem is the following:

I used RealPlayer (which is a 100% free tool) to convert the MP3 to a Windows Media Audio file. Just click convert to button in RealPlayer and change the settings and press convert...

    AND'RE YOU READY TO GO...

The audio is excellent... zero static... and now I can listen to the audio book of more than 2 X the normal speed in Windows Media Player and do with it in less time that I would otherwise...

    It's a beautiful thing!

Wanted to leave instructions because other people have noticed that they have had this problem and I am sure that there will be more who need a solution in the future...

Cool - let me know if you have any questions for those facing the same question...

  • Windows 7 video playback blue and green tinted

Since I installed Windows 7, I had a problem where most of the videoplayback is strongly tinged with blue and green io periodically; the tint in WMP doesn't help - in fact it does not change the color at all. Update or restore the video drivers is also no change to this problem.  It occurs in all areas, in all video players, I've tried so far.  I noticed this problem on google on a couple of different tips and no solution that works for me, or is even applicable to the latest version of WMP. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Can Windows Media Player XP play MTS file type? I tried, but the video does not play smoothly. Is this fix really?

I tried, but the video does not play smoothly.  Is this fix really?

There is a possibility that Windows Media Player could
read the file if you rename the MTS to MPG or AVI.

And/or...the suite of freeware Media Player can be
    worth a try.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema
    http://MajorGeeks.com/Media_Player_Classic_Home_Cinema_d6213.html
    (works on XP/Vista/7)
(The name of the file to download is: "MPC - HomeCinema.1.5.2.3456.x 86 .exe ')

If this fails, it may be worth trying to convert the MTS file
    WMV format:

There are many converters available on the net... some
    free... some detail.

The following freeware converters are a few examples:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    (1) Sothink Free Video Converter
    http://www.Sothinkmedia.com/video-converter/
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

You will need to unzip the file... or you could just drag
the Setup.exe from the file out of the folder and drop it on your
    desktop and install from there.

Once installed... Open Sothink and go to... Add the files button...
Find and select the clips you want to convert.

Next... in the encoding settings... Choose... Video credits.
WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv).

Choose an output folder and on the left, click on the button convert.

You can experiment with other settings later but
This should help you get started.

  • How can TV 31RL938 - I find installation key for PC-Windows Media Player

To watch DVD from PC - Windows Media Center (Windows 8) on my TV (31RL938, without fire related to the internet), I have to do an Extender installation with the Media Center on my PC (the TV symbol is on my PC).
That's why I have to put in an installation key (8 digits), which should be on my TV / Extender by choosing 'Windows Media Center' here.

But how can I find it?

    Thanks for the help!

    Gerd

    Have you managed that?

To my knowledge the two devices; your TV and your PC must be connected to the same network: in my case its home WLan.

I don t use Media Center, but I made the connection with Windows Media Player.
Using the Media Player I can listen to the video and music to my TV or stereo receiver...
