Export of specific fields

I use the data in spreadsheet files merge tool to create a CSV file and it works very well for what I need, but I was wondering if there was a way to choose the fields to export. I need information for the PDF, but not all are needed for a condensed file, I also need to create.

It is, but it doesn't have a built-in feature to this, then you will need to use a custom JavaScript. I would recommend tabs on CSV-delimited because they are much easier to generate properly. Here's a simple script that writes data delimited by tabs in the console (Ctrl + J) JavaScript, which you can then copy & paste it into a file.

List of fields to export

var aF is ['text2', 'checkbox4', 'text1', 'dropdown6'];.

Loop in the table of areas and add the field values to the table

var aValues = [];

for (var i = 0; i)< af.length;="" i="" +="1)">

aValues.push (getField (aF) .valueAsString);

}

Write data delimited by tabs in the console

Console.println(aValues.join("\t"));

  • Export only specific data from PDF to Excel

    Hello

    I am trying to find a way to export only specific fields of a PDF file to an Excel sheet.  I have dozens of tax returns from various companies.  When I export the PDF at the same time, it does not transfer somehow able to use without manually moving a bunch of things around.  I work with statements of income from oil and gas wells.  Therefore, the goal is to put the name in a column, quantity produced in another, the price sold to another, etc..  However, as I said, the statements are not put in place in a way that transfers on in this format.  It would be ideal if I could choose the columns in the PDF file transfer via and in what format I choose.  In many cases, I have a PDF different for each month that I could merge into a single document, if I need to.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It is possible to do, but it takes using a script. You can do this by using the command export form integrated data.

  • Export of all fields in Windows Live Mail

    When I try to export contacts in Live Mail under the comma separated values (.) CSV option), only some fields are listed in the export.  For example the field called "another significant" is not listed as one that is to be exported.  Similarly, if I try to export using the business card (.) VCF option), I don't get a choice of which fields to export, but the field "other significant" is not exported.

    I use Windows 7.  This question was asked by someone in the forum for Vista, but the response simply treated the export procedure, without addressing the issue that all some fields are not exported.

  • Eloqua recommended way to identify records with a null value in a specific field?

    What is the recommended Eloqua the way to identify records with a null value in a specific field in a contact filter.  For example, in the segment 'lead State cleaning-11/21/12', I look for records with a value zero in LeadID and ContactID... How Eloqua recommends to do this?

  • How can I run my validations after confirming that a specific field is not NULL?

    Hello

    How can I run my validations after confirming that a specific field is not NULL?

    One of my validation needs to ensure that a specific page element is not NULL, then I use the option 'required value' of the page element, but it seems that the validation is performed before the option "required value.

    I know I could create 2 different validations for each case, but I think it would be nicer if I could work through the only validation and leave the APEX to manage the field validation is NOT NULL

    Best regards and thanks for reading

    According to my experience, it appears that the APEX is going through all THE postings...

    IE, if a "failure" of Validation continues.

    It's actually beneficial for the end user, because it will get ALL the errors in the form he or she made... not just a first.

    workaround solution:

    1. Remove the 'required' on the element value (.. but keep the "required" model)
    2. Add the NOT NULL check to your personal validation process.

    Very probably, the 2nd one will be in a PL/SQL function return error text.

    You can use the attributes RemoteHost and RemotePath of the data store to get the path in any format you want.

    e.g. $info. NFSPath = "$($_.)". RemoteHost) :/ $($_.) RemotePath).

  • Custom export and inmopt fields

    Hi all

    I would like to export to CSV, all virtual machines with custom fields (6) and their values, something like VMname | Value1 | Value2 | etc. Value6. and second script that will allow me to import custom report to VM field values.

    No idea how to do it?

    You can use the first PowerCLI script to export annotations (custom fields) in a .csv VMAnnotations.csv file:

    Get-VM | ForEach-Object {
      $VM = $_
      $VM | Get-Annotation |`
        ForEach-Object {
          $Report = "" | Select-Object VM,Name,Value
          $Report.VM = $VM.Name
          $Report.Name = $_.Name
          $Report.Value = $_.Value
          $Report
        }
    } | Export-Csv -Path VMAnnotations.csv -NoTypeInformation

    And you can use the second script to import:

    Import-Csv -Path VMAnnotations.csv | Where-Object {$_.Value} | ForEach-Object {
      Get-VM $_.VM | Set-Annotation -CustomAttribute $_.Name -Value $_.Value
    }

  • Is it possible to export data from fields to fill in indesign?

    Just the basics:

    I'm on a mac, running CC

    We are PDF forms where users will type circulating information. Instead of copying and pasting data into indesign, we wanted to see if there was a way to export the data entered directly in indesign? I tried to export data in Excel, but we lack excel for mac 2011 and I wonder if there is a compatibility problem with exports (which must constantly be repaired). I also find that when the files are repaired, that the entire form is included.

    If I can't make a direct export to indesign is there a way I can only export the data to excel and create my own .csv to a data merge in indesign?

    Thank you

    Rich

    Yes, JavaScript is case-sensitive, so the name of a field must be used in the same way, it has been defined in the form. If you have a field named "Field 1", you can not access via "field 1" - these two names is different. ""

  • JavaScript in a PDF file that checks the value of a specific field and then make the right calculation.

    Hi guys!

    Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

    This is my first time writing here, I just discover the great possibilities of Javascript in PDF files and I'm very excited about it!

    I have no experience with Javascript, that's what I would do:

    Basically, I need to calculate how many litres of gas is needed to do a specific job in agriculture.

    I have a table that looks like this:

    Seed: 120 litres/Km

    Weeding: 20 litres/Km

    Fertilize: 140 litres/Km

    I have 3 fields in the pdf file: OPERATION / KM / NECESSARYGASOLINE

    I need something like this:

    Seed = 120;

    Weed = 20;

    Fertilize = 140;

    IF the OPERATION is 'Seeds' then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 120 * KM;

    OTHERWISE, if the OPERATION is 'Weed' then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 20 * KM;

    OTHERWISE, if the OPERATION is "Fertilizer" then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 140 * KM;

    Is it possible to translate it in Javascript?

    Thank you very much for the help! It would be really wonderful!

    Yes, it is possible. Use the following syntax:

    If (organic == 'Yes' & culture == "Wheat")

  • Set the focus on the specific field when the form opens

    I use Acrobat Pro XI.  I would like for a specific domain focus when the form is opened.  Is there a form parameter or the Javasprict that should be used?  Where add Javascript code so that's the direction I must go?  Thank you.

    Yes, it can be done using a script. Go to tools - JavaScript - Document JavaScripts and enter this code (adjust the name of the field as your file, of course):

    this.getField("FieldName").setFocus ();

  • Navigate to a specific field in the post-BLOC trigger

    I am working on a form in Oracle Forms6i on Windows XP. It has a control block on the top (for the entry of search parameters) and a block of data for the execution of the query based on search criteria entered in the control block.

    After setting the parameters in the control block, if the user accesses the retail building, he must check if a specific search parameter is entered. If NOT, then it should not go to details and it must Access the required in the control block. I can not put the REQUIRED YES property for the required field.

    I tried after BLOCK of the control block, and he ceased to navigate to the next block, but failed GO_ITEM... How can I skip to the REQUIRED field without using the timer? Should what else I consider for this trigger?

    Thank you

    Joseph,
    One possibility would be to make your control in the retail block - trigger once - new - block - Instance (WNBI). The 'when' triggers allow for the use of forms built-ins so you can check your element of control block and force the user to the required element when they navigate to the detail block.

    You can also add a when-validate-Item trigger (WVI) to your element of Control_Block to check if the value of the element is null and fail form if it is null. That could prevent the user from leaving the field without entering a value valid.

    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

  • How to export a specific combination of cube data Essbase.

    Hello

    I have a requirement to export the data of the cube for the specific budget scenario and the year. I know that I can use report scripts to extract the data, but also check if I can do this through calc scripts. Y at - it a command to export data in calc scripts, I see a Maxl export command, I can use it in a Calc Scripts?

    Please advice,

    Thank you

    Yes, you can use the DATAEXPORT calc script command in a software PATCH or EXCLUDE.

    See the [Ref Tech | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/html_esb_techref/calc/dataexport.htm] for more details.

    You can also go the way of the CDF and use JExport.

    Finally, you can also use MDX scripts (works with BSO, believe it or not).

    Personally, with all its foibles, I prefer always DATAEXPORT.

    Kind regards

    Cameron Lackpour

    PS for more data on export, check of Glenn Schwartzberg blog. It covers a lot of different approaches deeply enough.

  • How to export type of field research

    Hello

    I don't see research with the 'Field Type' type in the export Manager. When I change the type of 'Search Type', they appear only in export Manager.
    Is it possible to export?

    Kind regards

    You cannot export. However, you can export a list of choice one, and then modify it to change the field type. It won't matter as a field type.
