It just started doing this a few weeks ago but only the past several days I've worked hard to get these deleted cookies. There must be hundreds of them. I managed to remove about 5 or 6 of them, but others did not move. I want to clean up everything to start over and analyze them on a daily basis. I don't want most of them. SuperAntiSpyware claims it deletes them but when I go to Options in the browser, they are still there. SuperAntiSpyware claims that cookies are there whenever I run the program before you shut down the computer.

  I have put cookies expire when I close Firefox, but want some select sites for permanent cookies. I can do this job by by going to tools | Options | Privacy | Exceptions of cookie dialog box and then manually by typing in the URL for the site that I want to have stored cookies permanently. But it seems that if the site is currently open in a tab, I should be able to click on something, somewhere, like "allow the current site to have permanent cookies."

  Something was quite wrong. Settings that use Thunderbird cannot come from his profile, but if the account has been for settings and yet the account is always logged, then the settings page has become out of step with the real state of the profile. Note that uninstalling and then reinstalling the program Thunderbird are usually ineffective because the settings are kept separately in the profile folder.
