    Hi m_karhulinna,

If you have Acrobat Pro, you can record directly to Word from Acrobat format by choosing File > save as other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.

(Looks like you can try to use the online service ExportPDF, which is separated from Acrobat and not necessary in your case.)

  • Export PDF convert Word doc

I have a subscription to Adobe export in PDF, annual.  (It is a little confusing because when I open a PDF file, it says in the upper left corner "[document name] .pdf - Adobe Reader.")  It is in any case, not to convert my PDF to Word.  He puts a text (image) box in a Word document.  I'm used to be able to convert the docx files.  Why it is not working?

    Thank you

  • Text missing when exporting pdf to word doc

I'm trying to export a pdf file to word in Acrobat DC, but despite all my efforts on 2/3 of the text disappears. The headers appear, but the text body is unrecognizable because of so many missing characters.  I tried to print the PDF to the PDF printer, but no dice. I'm also pretty sure that I have the font that was used in the document already downloaded - does anyone else have this problem?

PDF to Word, Excel or any other format conversion is one of the most complex things, you can try to do it with a PDF file. It works very well in some cases, in other cases, the output doesn't have much to do with the original file. The key to success is that the PDF file must be "marked" - which means that it contains information about the information displayed in the file. The best way to ensure that a PDF file is properly tagged is using the PDFMaker in Acrobat to create PDF from Word or Excel file (this is the Acrobat Ribbon or toolbar).

Unfortunately it is not that you can do to improve the output without spending a lot of time (for example manually tracking file). In addition, if you use Adobe ExportPDF service and do not have access to Acrobat, it is even not an option.

In most cases, the only thing you can do is complain to the original author of the file and tell them that they used a PDF generator bad to create the PDF file.

Sometimes you get better results when you export the entire file for the individual (e.g. 600 dpi) TIFF images, and then re-import these TIFF images in PDF format and finally run OCR and export to Word.

  • Export pdf in word does not have all of the correct characters

If the export in word does not produce a workable piece, can I get a refund? I have over 100 pages that I have to work on and the scans look great/perfect PDF. However, exports in Word are not!

    Hi agr495,

The conversion quality largely depends on the quality of the PDF (not necessarily what it looks like, but how it is written). Not all third party applications write spec PDF files. Have you used the software provided with the scanner to generate the PDF file? If so, this could explain why the conversion is not what you expected.

That said, you can certainly request a refund if you decide that you do not want the subscription.

  • Corrected export PDF to Word

    Hello

I'm just experimenting Acrobat Pro DC to try to convert old documentation in PDF format and convert it in MS Word format, so that we can update and modify old documents.

I scanned the original document in at 1200 dpi and run some improvements on it to make it more readable, run OCR on this subject and corrected all errors (of which there were a number, the original typewritten is quite poor in places).

Now, when I try to export to Word, Acrobat reruns the process of OCR on the document and I get a horrible mangled mess of a document again. I can turn this off, but I just get a bunch of images in a Word document that I can't change.

How can I get a Word document that contains the text corrected OCR that I meticulously spent 2 hours correcting itself in Acrobat?

Did you use the 'Clear Type' option for the process of OCRing?

I save, close, and reopen the PDF answer key before you convert it to Word. This will reload the file in memory with the saved result and not what is in memory.

  • Export PDF to word to make searchable words

    Greetings,

I recently started a class online for the College and the manual was given the College in PDF format. The manual is all images and if so I can't find the document for keywords. I bought the function export to PDF because it says that it could export to word document and index words. After I exported the PDF file, the word document is exactly the same as the prior PDF with no searchable words.

What can I do to make the words in the searchable image?

    Thank you

    Adam Budde

So I thought to it. If you open the converted file on the web, it is not searchable. If you open the actual file that has been converted for you, then the words are now available. Thank you.

  • Export PDF to Word question

I export a PDF document to word, but when I do it takes a bit of text on each page and in fact a reference.  Essentially, this destroys the formatting and does not modify the word document.  Cut and paste text from the notes in the text, place a transport not editable return after each word.

I have an Adobe PDF Export account.

    Any ideas?

Frequently, the quality of the result depends on how the file was created. It is very difficult to export to Word. When a PDF file is created created the word Windows using the Acrobat, a Ribbon, markers are created in the PDF file that make round tripping easier than when the same handling file printed to PDF. I know I don't not useful any of it useful. As a former user of Acrobat time, looks like a review on how the bear dance rather than the wonder that the bear can dance. I can offer alternatives. You can download a trial version of Acrobat, and see if it does better. You can try the see when exporting as plain text is an improvement. Print the file for paper, scan, run OCR in Acrobat Pro suit. It would be nice if the export to PDF was always perfect. Somethings it is, sometimes, it is not.

  • Export PDFS to word

How do you ensure a correct formatting when you export a PDF to a word document?

It is impossible to ensure. You can do it fairly well, but a lot depends on the way in which the PDF document was created. If the PDF file was created with the marking tags, you could get a very good performance. If it's a scan, you'd be lucky to get anything close to the PDF display and can have problems of police according to the way in which the analysis was made.

Try the export (or save it as others > DOCX) and give some more specific questions to answer more directly.

  • Export PDF in different size while maintaining hyperlinks

    Hello

my client asked export document format A4 A5 size letter size (so the source A4). So I need 3 different exports of the schema source A4. It seems to me, that humans are capable of landing on the Moon, but resizing PDF seems to be much more complicated...

    1. I know that there is this option print in Id, where I can export PDFS in different size (why the hell that's not possible in the Export PDF dialog classic?). I tried, but this way of 'print' kills all my links created manually (about 800 of them in all of the document).
    2. I can change the document. But in the case of A4 > letter y at - it somehow how just increase the size of the artboard and keep the work without scales right in the Middle? (And keep hyperlinks, of course...)

So my question is: how to export in different sizes and maintain hypertext links?

    Thank you!

    You can not.

Never use print to create a PDF file, avoid postscript, which means no EPS, but also without the creation of Distiller or PDF by printing.

    It is said of Villa.

If you create a PDF file via the export only you can use the URL. (Often URLS work in all cases such as Acrobat and Reader are detecting those automatically the text, but often not correct.)

Normally, you can place an INDD or PDF/X-4 file exported in other INDD files links als, they are treated as PDF images. But images can never transfer the interactivity in InDesign when they are placed there. If you lose these Interactivities.

But why your client will have live links in all sizes? The user will not open all sizes and use it on screen. I would recommend to strengthen links in the original which must be the version that gets the user on the screen. Other sizes can be done via the placement of the INDD or PDF/X-4 files (with bleed.)

Is what you you should interest you, if you use a smaller file, your resolution should be at least the square root of 2 higher for each step you want to increase the file. Let's say the original is A4 and you want to jump up to the A3, you need 1.41 × 300 ppi or A2 will be 2 × 300pp. Conversely, when you place it in a smaller provision, you must increase the purge. If the bleeding is 3 mm in the original A4 and you want to place in an A5 available in A4 minimum purge must be 1.41 × 3 mm, with A6 2 × 3 mm. (for output you can use another bleeding in the export that you configured in the configuration of the document).

I tried exporting a PDF score in word format, but it seems incomplete. Is there any way to export the music score PDF to word correctly?

Very, very unlikely, unless you export each page in the form of a simple graph, slats, words and everything. You ask too much, especially given that Word is not a music creation application.
