• Insert the record into the detailed form.

  Hello! I have some paintings of master and detail. In a form I insert record for the main table, but in others, I insert record for the secondary table.
  
  So, I visit my main table, do not enter any value, only PK is entered using DBSequence.   As you can see, there is value to DBSequence: '-4 '. So why this error?
  
  If I enter some values in the main form and then go to detailed form to enter values, then this error disappeared, I can enter data. Why this is the case, can someone explain to me?

  Of the newly created entity is not displayed until a call setAttribute() is invoked on this subject. Simplest to try thing is:

  1 implement ViewRowImpl to master VO.
  2 substitute create() and call a call setAttribute() on any attribute of in.

  I met already insert many rows into a table using ADF BC. The solution is in the following thread

  The above solution is useful when you want to enter new values as well as all the table entries is displayed.
  What can I do if I don't want all values in the table, but just a page 'AddEntries' where I can only add new lines without going through the table entries is displayed.

  Say a form has 5 rows
  
  Each line has empId, eMailSlNo, send attributes
  
  EmpId is the same for all 5 recordings but emailId is different.
  
  EmpId eMailSlNo plus the PK.
  
  empId generated by the sequence.
  
  Now, on presentation of the form, I want all five records to be inserted.
  
  (can I use ADF form instead of the table of the ADF for the ViewObject in this case. I tried ADF form but I could only insert 1 plug at the same time).
  
  I use 10.1.3.4

  Shri salvation,

  ADF form is intended for the single insert/update. For multiple insert/update/delete using the collection as table UI is preferred. I guess your db table or table design INTERFACE default (in my opinion but I do not know your usecase entirely, so I guess might b wrong).

  I would say,

  -make EmpId as PK
  -have another table to store EmpId (foreign key), emailSiNo, email
  -Having the relationship of the master / detail between the British Colombia ADF db tables.
  -Create master / detail UI and on the selection of the master, view the details and if no record is found does not add files and commit.

  I have a DML form page which I created with the Wizard "form on a Table with the report." This form has a created apex "automatic processing line (DML) ' process that inserts, updates, and deletes the record in the TRXHIST table. This form use ROWID as a primary key column. The table TRXHIST is to have primary key as a field that uses the TRX_ID_SEQ sequence. There's a trigger on this table that deals with this sequence. Now the records are get inserted, updated and deleted and I am able to show the message with equal success.

  Now, I have a requirement to indicate problem (that will be generated over this insertion using the sequenceof TRX_ID_SEQ ) in the success message, so that the user can be noted.

  Can you please help in this.

  Hi Thierry,.

  1. The page element existing Pxxx_ROWID and rename it to Pxxx_TRX_ID, set the attribute column of field data.
  2. In the LMD processes change the ROWID to TRX_ID and Pxxx_ROWID to Pxxx_TRX_ID references
  3. Make sure "Return Key in Item" is defined on Pxxx_TRX_ID
  4. In your success message of process you can use & Pxxx_TRX_ID to replace the id generated recently.

  Hallo,

  I need to create a page that displays the records of a VO, but I would not use a table.

  Instead, I would like to display a form for each record to be displayed.

  Forms must appear one above the other and each form should have 2 buttons: one to remove the file/form itself and one to add a new file/form.

  When you press the button Add a new empty form should be dynamically added to the page (so that the user can fill) and created related record.

  When REMOVE button is pressed the form (which contains the operated button) should be disappear and the record shuould be deleted.

  Creations and destruction must be applied only if the user clicks a button on CONFIRMATION / COMMIT.

  I was saying that your page layout can be achieved using af: table

  This provision is af:table (I think same as yours), just add a column in the table and put all the fields in this column then correct layout allows to design as a provision on the form or group layouts

• Inserting a new record in the database using a form empty ADF

  I'm trying to insert a new record into the database using a form.
  
  I have an Employee table and its corresponding entity object and the view object. The table has an id that is used as the primary key and is filled using a sequence in the comic book.
  
  Data controls, I dragged and dropped at the sight of the employee as a form of ADF and checked the submit button include. Then I dragged and dropped the validation on submit button operation.
  
  When I connect to the app and go to the page used to create, I have 2 problems:
  1 - the form is filled with the logged in user info.
  2. If I try to change the news and validation, the user info is changed in the database and no new record is created.
  
  It makes a little sense to me, but I would like to know if there is a way around it (get an empty form and insert a new record).
  NB: the employee id is not part of the form, I want to be filled using the sequence.

  User, please tell us your jdev version!

  To do this, you must create a new record before going to the display of the form page. In a stubborn workflow (btf), you drag the operation createInsert of the VO on the btf and it will generate a link method, add a view to the btf and put a navigation of the binding of the method of the page. Mark the method as 'Activity by default'. Now, ren, you call the workflow, you create a new record that will show your blank form.

  Check if your code sequence and make like this code example (focused only on the "BOLD" letters, because I think that your specific sequence will not be in order i.e. ALL), you must make your sequence in order with no cycle.

  CREATE the SEQUENCE "YOUR_SEQUENCE_NAME" MINVALUE 1 MAXVALUE 99999 INCREMENT OF 1 START WITH 1 CACHE 20 ORDER NOCYCLE .

  We have a site that has three different forms on this web. When a person completes these they get connected as "cases". We can see the detail of these cases in the dashboard, but if we try business export to CSV exports only the coordinates of the person filling out the form, not all the details of all fields in the form.

  Can anyone help as we need all the details contained in the form fields in the exported CSV file

  Have you tried to generate a report 'Cusotmers and cases' and choose the fields online form like so - http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/Mihai/2012-07-31_1202.swf

  This will generate a report, you can then export to Excel that contains the fields that you need (customer Details + custom on the online form fields)

  I have an inspection form that fills a single text of values in list box dropdown mulitple.  I have no problem to record the presence of hidden pages, wait for the page that contains a script that fills the single text box.  This form must be certified, so I have to keep the changes to the scripts manually.

  The (partial) script of the text box is in the calculated JavaScript event (this script works great!)

  You can also drag and drop on Next, Previous, first, last from the data control panel like buttons (it comes under the node for the data collection operations),

  Try to change the command prompt in the form of default menu for a single file, the message "registration has been changed. Ask to see the changes. "appears...!
  I saw this message on custom... Forms but on the default form which also insists even when I close the form and reopen it..., first time...

  As indicated, it is most likely due to spaces in a column to the right. PL indicate what form you encounter this error in.

  Little late but was not on the development computer.
  In fact the data you are trying to recover also ensure the data type. I mean if you retrieve DIGITAL data record group for the first column you use fld_1 , you must have to use the built-in GET_GROUP_NUMBER_CELL . Like this..

  So, in you case I think the department_id data type is numeric in the database, and you use GET_GROUP_CHAR_CELL which will not work. Use the first one I showed you for numeric values.

  And also use the trigger a TIME NEW FORM INSTANCE used to retrieve the value. I want to use the first example in this trigger. Then you can see the value of the result of the shared record group.
