  Anyone has the experience to create your own simple LMS for Captivate projects? This should save progress, bookmark and completion. I wonder how easy it would be. I'm assuming that a database MySQL, PHP etc would do the job

  Yes, all the tracking options that Captivate offers can be used to 'follow completions '.

  The biggest problem, how YOU (or anyone who cares) check out these completions, maybe? How do you run reports?

  LMS products do that pretty easy (in general). Personalized follow-up can get more complicated and may require you to create a custom reporting tool.

  Captivate Quiz results Analyzer is supposed to be the declaration too for these solutions non - LMS... but it works well for your needs?

  I am working on a project and we use Moodle as LMS, I developed some learning to be a student using adobe captivate. The learning material has a few quiz inside (tutor marked quiz).

  My challenge is that I want to be able to put the scores of quiz for each student in moodle, as the student takes the learnig material.

• Export iMovie 10.1.2 Audio settings

  Hi, I use Imovie last 10.1.2 and I'll try to find more than just share a file export options. It seems on previous versions, there was this possibility to expand the parameters and say affect the quality of the audio. But I can only find the resolution and quality settings. I do not see anything, or the capacity is now reduced to this?

  The options are that fewer than they were in previous versions of iMovie.  What sharing, you can select "Custom" and set the bitrate to compress the file to the desired size, but there is no specific audio options.

• Recommendation of LMS for Captivate?

  We are considering buying Captivate and do not have an LMS System.  I know that Adobe Connect contains an LMS, but it is packed with lectures on the web that I don't need and do not want to pay.  Do you know an LMS that works well with Captivate?

  Really look at to Moodle.

  You can download a full installation file that sets up all at once, Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Moodle server.  If your TI guys deserve their salaries that they have an installed demo version and running on a server within a few hours, sometimes minutes.

• Export AVI Microsoft for creating DVD settings

  I need to export my movie in one. AVI which will maintain the best quality. Basically, it must be as a means of transport in a DVD program (it should be in. AVI not Mpeg2)

• Export for Web/PC of PAL settings

  Hello

  I work primarily in video production for playback on a PC or the Web; usually from SD PAL and widescreen.

  So I try to export to Progressive standards 4:3 but crop source 4:3 so that I can resize the video to "square" standard dimensions (320 x 240, 480 x 360, etc.).

  Normally, I choose the H.264 - YouTube SD preset. Change to the PAL standard (which restores the size of frame for some reason any), harvest 4:3 and the size of the image to 640 x 480. I just leave all the other settings by default and export.

  However, with CS5 new preset for Vimeo, I noticed that it affects the proportions 1:1 - pixel square. While the YouTube preset keeps it to 4:3. I never noticed that before exports still looks correct.

  Which is right, is that what I've been doing wrong all this time? What is the 'best' procedure to export the PAL video to PC and web video?

  I reason on the assumption that, if you resize a video in 720 x 576 (D1/DV PAL 1.09) 640 width, the width must be 512?

  But change to square Pixels should enable a size of 640 x 480; without boarders and cropping?

  Fix again.

  Black borders appear only if you resize 16 x 9 material to 640 x 480 (which is 4 x 3), not if you resize to 640 x 360.

  Again, the export with pixels square like this:

  16 x 9-->> 640 x 360

  4 x 3-->> 640 x 480

  Then you will not have black borders. Check in the output tab before you run the file.

• Enter the user name of LMS in Captivate?

  I'm sorry. It's not native functionality for Captivate – does not support variables anywhere, from the point of view of the developer.

  This is not to say that it is impossible, but your only hope would be Flash.

  Captivate does data collection from the LMS, and although it has never posted anywhere, it can be contained in the strings, he receives from the LMS. You have to look at the wrapper HTML/Javascript file that goes with your SWF file and see if you can see where it passes the name of the student.

  Hmmm, your question was really different from my interpretation. You want to know what is the goal, the design of the front test?

  The pre-test design is for a specific purpose: allow the user to perform a previous test, in order to create a personalized navigation based on the pre-test score. This custom navigation is created using the pre-test action, that you can change with the button in the part of the Actions of the Group Quiz for slides before the test. There is a base in place, but you must change the slides to go to in situations of success/failure. You can also extend the conditional action with more than two branches based on the outcome of the score before the test. You will see that the system variable, I mentioned in my first reply is used in this action.

  On my pleading, the Adobe team said before the more variable test system after the first version (6?), to make it possible to create a true score slip to show the result to the user. I assumed that you already have my table updated with system variables in CP8, you will find the explanation of these variables of pre-test in the table.

  As you know SCORM requires that each course has only one Quiz, and that score is deferred. The pre-test was designed to produce a workflow easier to have such a "pre-test", but his score is not declared to the LMS (unless LMS accepts the values of the variables), only the score of the true quiz.

  You can download user, user to download you can check the history of product, checking for registered users, but there is no way to export the users group.

• How to develop export image sequence with all the applied settings?

  If this has been covered, please send me the link to the answer, but I have just past/lost 3 hours trying to find the correct steps.
  I want to use Lightroom CC (v.2015.5 on OS X 10.11.4 on 32 GB RAM i7 iMac5K AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB) to treat my timelapse footage, some shot as RAW + JPG, some as only JPG.

  This is what it I did:

  -import a JPG sequence into Lightroom

  -to develop, I did my settings (shadows, exposure, white balance) and healing spot on the first image in the sequence
  -right click on the first image in the sequence, then develop settings > copy settings... (I chose 'Check all'), then all the other images in the sequence selected, right-click and develop settings > paste settings
  all the images in the order now have the same look
  -right click on the first image in the sequence, then export > export..., and then selected for export to: specific folder (I created a folder "transformed" on the same level as the source folder).
  Rename: Custom Settings (Filename_proc - 01.jpg) and clicked the export button.

  Lightroom saves the entire sequence in the new folder quite quickly, but the files look exactly like the original files, without the development parameters, I did.
  What I am doing wrong?

  Then in the export dialog box, you have chosen to export 'Original' in the section "file settings". Look at ALL the settings in the export dialog box. The changes make you in this dialog are post-it and unless you go through each of them your next export will have the same parameters as the last export.

• Is there an add-on for Adobe Captivate that allows the word to the text?

  Thank you. I actually ended up using Google Doc w / voice / dictation option. I did the following:

  1. export the audio from Adobe Captivate

  2. set again my sound of "Virtual Audio Cable" settings so that the audio has been accepted by the computer MIc

  3 clip dictated in Google Doc

  There is also a new Google Doc add-on which makes speech text even better that the native Google voice type

• InDesign - How can I change PDF export options when PACKING

  Hey everyone, I have an InDesign issue that was so irritating, but I don't know that I can describe it adequately.

  I'll try, I hope that makes sense, and it would be great if someone could help me.

  When you package an InDesign document a PDF is generated automatically.

  I can't figure out where to change the parameters of this PDF file that is created.

  For example: when packing, I would choose between pages vs spreads, or change settings of guides and funds lost for the PDF that will be created.

  The packaging process seems to just go with all this last use.

  So a solution that seems to do the trick is to go: file / export... to change the settings later dialog and then actually export the PDF file.

  When you return to package your file, the conditioning process then creates another PDF using settings you chose when exporting one.

  It's cool, I guess, it works, but this seems to be a waste of time.

  Is there a setting somewhere that you can change before you compress the file WITHOUT exporting a dummy PDF?

  With that, I queue it and export it to my office, no other changes. After I saw this however... it is really blurry. It seemed to me that if the video demoted to 240 p.

  Well, we found the problem! You start with an image of HD quality, stuffing in a sequence to only 720 x 480 DV, losing more quality... and then export the image shrunk down is actually jumping again HD.

  If you intend to export at 1080 p, then sequence settings must also be 1080 p. Think of a sequence like a picture frame. If you have a photo 8 x 10, you need, for example, a frame 8 x 10, not a 4 x 6.

  Please use file > New > sequence, then AVCHD 1080 p > and then decide what rate to deliver, 30 or 24, and then choose a preset suitable to work with. What frame rate you select, and then use the same for export (in reality, it is rate of 29.97 or 23.976, rounded names for simplicity).
