  Hello

  I use Adobe Captivate 8 and I've added a question 3 before the test.  I edited the first issue and made my questions multiple choice that I went to the second issue of pre-test and that of prestest #1 appears in the pre-test, #2 and #3.  Why - what is duplicate my original question on all the other before the test?  I have no idea how to get rid of on pre-test #2 and #3.

  So weird. Then try: delete preferences. Close the project, locate the CleanPreferences file that is appropriate for your system in the subfolder "Utils" of the captivate installation folder and run it. Then restart Captivate. Are you running it as an administrator (if you are using Windows)?

  

• Change a slide rated to a slide before the test once the slide was filed

  Before realizing there is a setting before the test, I had all my slides in question defined as "rated." However, I learn through this forum is it difficult (impossible, perhaps?) to insert two classified quiz in a project. When I change my Question slides from before the test, the option is grayed out. Does this mean I have to re-create all my slides to change them to before the test? It would be very inconvenient.

  Another tip: open the advanced all Interaction Panel by this (Project menu). You will see all the objects marked here, and you will see that all the scores of question slide are automatically added to the total score.

  This Panel is dynamically linked to the properties and Quiz panels. Choose a question you want to activate in a version not reported in this Panel. Look in the properties panel for the 'Déclaration' part and uncheck the report option (see screenshot, it is reported):

  

  You will immediately see the result in Advanced Interaction, and the Total score will be decremented.

• Set the testing for PHP server using XAMPP

  MY xampp installation works fine, when I type "localhost" in the browser, that it refreshes the page of XAMPP. Problem is when I F12 in DW CS4 to make it appear a php page of the site that I am working on it also opens the page xampp instead of index.php page I gave open in DW.  Any ideas? the configuration of the site on my pc is C:\xampp\htdocs\Milica\ another question I have which is no doubt why the above is happening, is that when I place the site definition to test files url doesn't http://localhost/ I get "DW cannot use the prefix you have entered to display live data" I tried different combinations to point the site folder \Milica but nothing works.  Help!  Thank you

  If the root of your site is C:\xampp\htdocs\Milica, your test server definition must specify C:\xampp\htdocs\Milica as the folder for the test server and the Web URL should be http://localhost/Milica/.

  Using Captivate 8, I'm trying to fix a question slide to a slide content, then back to the issue of KC to check for retry and then continue from there.  On my trial, it works very well.  However, the problems began on the second instance and continue on each instance, subsequently. Settings on the issue of KC slides are all the same except that drag each jumps for sanitation.  I don't understand why it works the first time, but does not work after that. On the second instance, the issue returns to the content slide, but then passes any subsequent slide.   Someone at - he had a similar experience?  Know of a workaround or solution could I hurt?

  Erik, sanitation is integrated since version 6. The next button can have a double feature: coming from a normal slide acts as then, when they come from a question slide she come back on this question with the mentioned order slide.  It's been a while since I tested this out, but it worked.   I recommend the following:

  (1) that the display automatically to test an Action step rather than a step for success/failure and set to square one local variable to see if the LCD self-test failed (for example Locals.AutomatedLCDFailed).

  (2) create a new test pass/fail (using the no adapter) that takes both the variable local and entry of the user account to determine it is the condition for success/failure (for example to set the data source of the step to an expression like:!)   As an alternative to do 1) a step of the Action you can leave a step for success/failure and clear step on it to "step failure causes failure of sequence. The only difference is that the automated test will always be displayed as failed in your report, although the sequence can still be passed. It is somewhat a matter of preference.

  What you see is simply a limitation of what can make the current application.

  When Adobe added the feature of pre-test, it don't was NOT set up to do exactly what you are wanting.  It is not get included in the Quiz review mode.  There is nothing you can really do about it.

  My suggestion would be getting your first questions included in review Quiz (because they are all part of the same quiz) but as I have already said a few times, Captivate only sees a quiz.

  If you don't like the way it works, feel free to record an enhancement request and wait a few versions.  You can get lucky.

  NIVS 2011, our Simulink model villages are mapped to output analog.  Any value is lock to the outport cancels the sysdef is locked to the AO.  We are all set to 0 before the cancellation of the deployment of the sysdef.  We cannot stop the model, but it always leads the channel.  We can set the value of the channel, but the model rolls in it even when standing (it makes sense).  Ideally, we would have a combo alarm or procedure, but we cannot replace the outputs of the model.  I saw: http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-VeriStand/reset-all-outputs-to-initial-values/m-p/2162306#M1980.  We can blame AO when the model is running or not.  We surveyed the AO after it flaws to 0 and cancellation of the deployment of the sysdef, and we did not see this high glitch.  So, it seems to give us the behavior we want.  I would check with the gurus to see if there is a better way to do it, or if there are known warnings at our approach.

  My personal recommendation would be to have a conditional calculated channel mapped to the output rather than using faults, in this scenario, conditional value of the string (and, therefore, the AO) would spend outport of the model and a user channel that stores a judgment by default value AO depending on the State of the model.

  The conditional trigger itself could be a model profile outport or stimulus (set a high when the model starts and down again when stopping value), or the State of the model can be determined using an agency independent survey - based on your post, looks like you can already do this.

• Why additional results stage does not meet the test report

  I have a file of sequence with several subsequences and I can't using step of additional results. I use the step of additional results in a subsequence and the specified results are added to the report test, but when I use the additional results stage on the main sequence, that nothing is added to the test report.

• C4580 on Macbook. Print the test and scans wireless but said network host is busy when you try to print.

  I installed everything and print a wireless test page. That works, scanning the wireless work. I can see print ink wireless levels but when I try to print the screen I get

  I have almost finished a training module to a customer. In this module, we were asked to implement some unclassified knowledge check quizzes before the final graduate exam. Because Captivate 5 allows only 1 quiz per module, I created the verification of unclassified knowledge question slides using multiple choice answers related to their hotspots specified as a solution. The user selects a response and a timed response will allow the knowledge if they got the answer right or not and why. The problem is that users can select several answers on these slides because there is nothing to force the user to select only one answer. I saw a thread earlier to unique quiz from scratch and if someone could send me the link to find that would be great, but I was hoping there was a way to force a user to be able to choose one with the slides that I have already created.   You have several boxes click on a slide, but user can choose only one? Create a tip action for each click box, who runs what you want to achieve with this click box and at the same time disables all the other click boxes, as simple as that.   Hello Renon,

  For option 2, I believe that the steps would be:

  1. Consuming portlets from the producer of staging environment
  
  
  2. Set preferences in the portlet Federated on the consumer and the test, keep track of what preferences have been on portlets for step 5.
     
  
  
  3. Propagate from the intermediate producer to the producer if necessary production - as long as the same ears and wars are deployed on the production and staging of producers, spread may not be necessary if it is used only as a producer.
  
  
  4. Spread all the portlets intermediate consumer to the producer of the production. The propagation tool will spread Federated portlets, but when it installs them to the producer of the production, the spread of WLP 9.2 tool is to assume that it points to same instance of producer than intermediate consumers. Since this is not the case for your installation, all of the custom federated portlets will be broken on the consumer of the production. If you have configured the consumer of production with the same producer handle that you used in the staging environment, Federated portlets that have never custom should work after propagation.

  Unfortunately, this is not a single task. Whenever you do not want to propagate staging to production, all custom federated portlet must be re-created on the production environment with appropriate preferences. This includes the portlets that you had changed a preference on and portlets that you had not changed the values preferably on since the last time that multiply you, because the propagation tool will overwrite these instances of portlet on the consumer of production with invalid portlet CCP handles.

  WLP 10.0 and later, the steps are much easier - you would just run the tool in spreading on the producers, while consumers and any customizations would be automatically transferred from the staging to the production.
