Export video in After Effects

I'm trying to export a video in After Effects and when exporting video, ago only audio, no video or the video and audio are not synchronized.

I tried to export in the Render Queue in After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder. When I tried to export as one. MOV, the file exported with no video and audio. When I tried to export to. AVI, but it showed the video was not synchronized with the audio. What I can do / how can I export the file to fix this error.

To give a bit of history on the file: this is a clip of a video that I cut and stabilized in Premiere Pro and exported as a .mp4 file. I then used rotoscoping tool to hide the background of the video in AfterEffects. Now I'm trying to export the video to a file that can be played on a projector for an exhibition, but the export does not work properly.

I guess the mp4 exported pp are 1920 x 1080, and they play with success AND without distortion, correct?

Some codecs and multimedia containers allow only a finite set of horizontal & vertical dimensions... mp4 among them.  This could be the source of your problems if you actually try to create files of 1920 x 1200.

Short answer, there is no simple "export to iPhone", but if you just want to have a movie that you can watch on your iPhone, you just send an attachment by e-mail (other than the .avi) and save it to your phone.

Alternatively, you can use dropbox in option.

With an application, you can mount your iPhone as an external drive. (see iExplorer)

Also: Check SOUL h264 variations before you send it to yourself.  There are presets for the compression of the iPhone.

  • Gray borders around white video in After Effects

Hi, I'm doing hundreds of training films with a greenscreen who later gets a white background. This looks cool in white website, however, sometimes, the video have a gray border. In this case cpmpletely RANDOMLY. I know, because we produce them all in the same way... It seems that it is an Adobe Bug of some sorts. I really hope that someone can help you. It really is time to export the same video three or four times, just so that there be no gray the fourth time at the border. (To be clear: I do not use *.) PNG, or *. PSD or any key to chroma, just on a solid white After Effects). I know that this happens in Adobe Media Encoder as wel as in After Effects. Once again, quite randomly. For most borderless, but sometimes the border grey.

UPDATE: the bug isn't in Adobe AE. I'm the bug. In some of the video I didn't put a solid white background, only a white background in the composition settings. When I placed a white soilid in this sequence, the grey line disappeared...

  • How make/quick export in Adobe after effects CC

    Hello

How can I export and make fast in Adobe After Effects, I bought a new PC, but it is not fast enough in my opinion.

I want to export a project of 60 fps for 1920 * 1080, 10 seconds long. It takes a very long time.

I've already put my GPU as CPU, but if I start rendering and look my GPU usage, After Effects will not use it.

After Effects uses the GPU to almost nothing. See this page for details of the GPU features in After Effects:

10 minutes is not a long time for a 10 second with Visual effects, compositing, 3D movie or many other types of treatment by high-performance computing. Often, people leave films of 30 seconds during the night or on the weekend to return. This is true for all the aoftware who does this kind of work, not only After Effects.

  • Slow Motion video using After Effects

    Hello

I got 10 seconds a clip timeline in first. I sent by right click 'Replace with AE composition' after effects.

I have apllied TimeWarp with 50% of the speed to the element in AE.

The first clip is always step 10 sec. It means that he slowed down video that contains only 5 seconds of the original. I expect that the final video in first will be 20 seconds because 50% of the speed has been used.

    What I am doing wrong?

The eccentric nature of making slow movement with After Effects has long been problematic.

You can probably get the same quality inside PP right using the optical flow method.

  • Cut the length of a video inside after effects CC?

    Hi all

I just started using after effects CC and I'm kinda stuck. I have an imported video that is 2 minutes long, but I need only 10 seconds of it. So, is it possible to cut the video for 10 seconds I need? I tried "Edit original", but that opens the video in windows media player.

  • Maybe I'm dreaming: was it ever a video before After Effects to the Ps?

Not seen interest at least in video or animation myself, I have not looked into After Effects over the years.

I have been an Adobe customer since the beginning of the 1980s and a user of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for more than a decade, or given that these programs have been launched, what came first. Since the days of CompuServe forums.

I am totally wrong, or was it while After Effects has been used by Photoshop users who, like me, doesn't have video features?  Now, I'm surprised to see that AE is now more often all video editing.

I have a valid reason to investigate, but I don't want to disturb the community with details until they become relevant.

    Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth, it looks not like AE version 6.5 of 2006 was the first to roll in Grain surgery plugins and version 7.0 was the last before they moved to the Universal Binary Intel that may be at the time that you try to avoid with your Mac Pro. Man, I actually still have those!

  • Slow video playback (After Effects)

    Hi guys,.

I just downloaded after effects CC and wanted to learn how to use it. I managed to create a composition and imported some video footage of test. However, during playback of the sequence on the timeline or normal preview playback is super slow. I don't know that I did something noob somewhere in the process. I use a macbook pro 15' and have never had any game of back pain or problems with the first CC. So, any help?

  • Question about the Introduction of the video in After Effects

Hey guys, I'm new to the Forum!

I want to keep it's short enough for you guys so I'll try to make it as brief as possible. Here's my question/problem:

In Adobe After Effects CS6, I created an intro for my videos on YouTube using a Premium battlefield model I found on YouTube and made it in a file format video 1080 p H.264 (.mp4) rendered by default "best settings". The introductory video lasts not more than 5 seconds. Having little knowledge of Adobe After Effects, I intend to learn more of the program using it as my default video editing (from Sony Vegas Pro 12) software and I seem to have a little drama.

For those who regularly put introductions in their videos, I have a question for you.

When I did a video today with my introduction in place (I had taken the introduction already made and placed in my composition and worked around it), but I noticed that the model I used was only a 1280 x 720 one. Making the resolution a bit distorted and 'big' than usual. My question is, should I render it again the introduction as well as the introductory model or continue to do what I did today is the introduction already rendered and move around?

    What do guys do generally?

Thank you very much! I can't wait to hear the responses!

Imagine a movement that is only 30 minutes long. Now imagine that the time between the cups about 6 seconds. It's 30 minutes multiplied by 60 seconds divided by 6 seconds. This means that your AE comp, excluding the effects, titles or other things going to have 300 layers staggered on the time line for 30 minutes. Now, imagine that you want to change shooting 244 6 seconds 9 seconds. Which leaves you only 56 layers to slide around.

Add to restore each preview and preview of the deadline for the memory live available and you'll see why AE is a program that I recently used to create a second shot 9 of 64 layers for a commercial, but I used first Pro is what I used to cut only 9 seconds to 30 seconds of spot.

  • Export SWF in After Effects

Not sure that this is a problem of Flash or something that can be solved in sequels, so I'll start with Flash.

I've done a swf animation and I imported in sequels. The problem is that part of it is not visible in AE.

In the Swf file, I have a clip on the root timeline. Inside of the mc, I have 4 layers. One is a layer mask which is the layer below. The hidden layer is animted to reveal notes as the animation progresses, however, the objects which are hidden does not sequelae. They work fine when I vew the .swf file in Flash player. After Effects love the layers in Flash mask?

I also tried to export a QuickTime, but it gives me strange artifacts.

Here is the file quicktime with artifacts. http://S713.Photobucket.com/albums/ww137/macjsus/?action=view & Current = CallingToTheNight_Ki netic.mp4

I use Flash and After Effects CS5.

Here is the output of Quicktime Animation with transparency (but remember, extremely fine lines don't do as well in low resolution):

Animation of the million + coding

And here is an example showing the works of transparency, no artifacts (using a screenshot of the forum underneith):

I forgot to mention on this first dialog box check to ignore the background color (producing an alpha channel). You can see in the images of your example.

  • Problem of camera rotation when exporting a camera after effects CC to the 15 4 movies

Looking around, this problem occurs to a few people, no satisfactory solution.

In fact, when I export AE camera / projecting in C4D, everything looks much... until I noticed that horizon of the camera will jump a few times... as if it was tilted 20 degrees to the left, it will jump to be tilted 20 degrees to the right.

Is certainly not in the images - it's a simple walk down a hallway. The AE track is fine - it is only in the track of C4D that the problem arises.

I tried to create new projects, re-export, etc.. I'm running AE CC and C4D 15.

Someone at - he never understand how to fix / workaround?

    Thank you!

It's weird. There were a few bugs transfer C4D/AE camera which were resolved by updates to the EA, but you are on the last, that doesn't help much.

You can certainly try it with C4D Lite. You get the R16 of C4D version with the latest version of AE. You need to change the launch path in the preferences.

Alternatively, you can always use the old transfer of Maxon plugins which allow you to export data from AE to C4D.

Also, you should consider updating your C4D on 15.064. You are missing a lot of bug fixes. (If you are upgrading to R16, you get a camera built in C4D tracker!)

  • Problem with exporting from After Effects

    Hello everyone,
I exported a video media of first cs5 windows (it was shot with the Canon 7 d).
Video 1 video channel, 1 audio channel that contains a conversation and another audio channel that contains only music.
After that I exported it, I imported the video into After Effects cs5, I added a few effects, and then I exported it as a video windows media.
    The audio settings are:

    Music mode
voice audio codec windows meida 9
audio format 20 Kbps, 22.05 khz, mono

Even if the video of the first has been flawless, that of After Effects contains the conversation perfectly, but the music is very low and even erratic.

    Anyone encountered this problem?

Use the audio compressed in AE. Use the ordinary WAVs and their depth of rate and little match native plug of your audio hardware, so AE not needd to resample and 'mix' it consistent for playback.

  • First export bad vs after export own effects

I encountered this problem many years ago, but since he come running in each version of Premiere Pro, it's time to find a solution.

Especially what bothers me is that all the videos I export from Premiere CS4 is not as clean as if I exported it in After Effects.

    I had two situations:

    1. I did an animation in After Effects, export the video to loosles to see what it looks like and the video looked very good and very clean.

I imported the aftereffects composition through dynamic link in Premiere CS4 and put some music on. That I exported the video out of Premiere CS4 with the Media Encoder in some versions of the HQ as DV Pal, .mov, .h264, Targa sequences... and the video was not as clean as that exported directly from After Effects.

What's wrong? Y at - it a Permira encoder bug? I had this problem also with an earlier version of first.

2 I shot a movie in HDV format for a company. I edited the material in Premiere CS4 and since I have exported it to 4:3, I reduced the video. So there was more than enough pixels to make the image clean. But after have exported them out of Premiere CS4 the DV PAL, image quality was not clean.

I imported that the first sequence in After Effects and export the video from there and I had a great and clean looking for PAL DV video.

Once again. Is there a bug in first encode?

I like the first, but since I can't get a nice picture out of it as I am planing to go to FinalCut Pro.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you very much

    Agetis

Jim, I exported the animation in the 1. scenario as a progressive video.

EI Yes but if you use PAL presets and exports in first, you have the default interleaving.

This is! You have the wrong version.
