Exporter Pro Res 422 HQ

I have a client who wants that its output to be delivered as a Pro Res 422 HQ files. MOV file.

I gave him every possible exit for Quicktime which is available in the Media Encoder for PPro5 and dismissed all

He refuses to even look at any file that is NOT in one. MOV container.

CS6 includes ground Pro outings?  Is there a transcoder of spare parts or plugin that can do the job?  Any help?

Personally, I'm in favor of "something else".  The UT codec is very usable on both platforms and free.

Commercial reality, Jim, is that the OP has a customer who wishes to... what he wants.

The OP needs to solve customers 'wants' without compromise.

Take a look at this thread and see if it's a solution.

I'm trying to export multi-channel audio as apple pro res 422 HQ, but the tracks are all coming full joint rather than separately. I've implemented the multi Channel sequence already. What I am doing wrong?

All 4 titles are coming as complete blends not divisions. I guess that's a problem with the entrenchment of the channels, but can't see how to fix. Andy

Is what would you say to my quick thought without following through all the processes after the fact, the sequence settings? My thought is that the sequence settings must be multichannel as you show, but each Adaptive track, so this channel map is routed at your leisure. If this is not the case, already, it would create a new sequence with these settings.

  • Big Apple Pro Res 422 files

I am trying to export files Apple Pro Res 422 via Speedgrade and a video 1920x1080is entry of 10 minutes out to 89 GB. I used to export via Premier Pro and Media Encoder and Speedgrade interface seems sparse. I am fairly new to this and I feel that I'm missing something along the way.

I'm a PC person, so export ProRes is not an experience that I can share. I wonder if it has an alpha channel, as in a couple of codecs in Sg it can include an alpha channel, which does not seem to make a much larger file.

In the Render for Sg tab, there is one small line/box called 'Other'... which gives access to most of the actual settings for any preset built-in, or you do...

When you click on that, you get...

And working in the different tabs for codecs & choice options is where you can change what is happening.

  • Scaling, Pro Res 422 codec bug

So I came across a rather unique bug, which arose a few months back, when our company decided to first Pro CC for first Pro CC 2014. I think it has something to do with the new "set to frame size" feature, when you right-click on a clip in the timeline panel.

When the scaling of images in the effects of the label, if the scale is not defined on above 50.0, the clip will be display zooms in the program monitor during playback and also in the video file made after export. However, paused, the clip will be watch upward nationwide. Please see the pictures below.

    Video playback:

    Clip at the break:

This seems to happen only with files back and forth between our color grading program. Relevant information on the files are lower.

How can I return this option?

What I did to fix it was go to library/quicktime/appleprorescodec.componet on my old mac copied and forwarded to the same new folder Mac.

  • Images of Pro res 422 editing on windows 7 in first CS6

Did I meet no problem import and this sequence of reading/editing?

I will not need to export to the same format. .mov is fine when everything is published.

    Thanks for your help.

Avid DNxHD is a codec for quicktime (CS6) free and high quality.

You can download and install from the link above.

Once installed, you can encode .mov files using this top-quality codec.

Or, you can simply use the ubiquitous H.264 for encoding of .mov codec.

  • Use of Apple Pro Res in first for the specturm colors

I heard that using Apple Pro Res in first and AE is good to use the specturm of color extended clips.  Is this true and necessary.

    Thank you

    On a Mac, CS5.5, os 10.6.8

You're still assuming that the adjustment of the color will go to external tools.  Question of the Crees was pretty simple.  ProRes is an advantage of quality in PP and AE?

For the most part, the answer appears to be no, it isn't.  Ensure their may be exceptions to this, always there when it comes to this sort of thing.  But transcoding as a rule of thumb for editing and effects work in PP and AE just doesn't make much sense.

  • Problems with export low res/compressed images Lightroom

Hi, I recently noticed problems with the export of images. Even if I did change the pixel dimensions that I used to use (640 x 600 for a blog), the exported image is significantly more low resolution than usual. The only things that have changed is that I upgraded from LIghtroom stand-alone 5-6 Lightroom on creative cloud - and also I got a new Macbook Pro.

You seem to be using a mac book pro with a retina display. This is that websites must be programmed to feed your browser an image of higher resolution that they would feed to people using a lower resolution screen. Not all Web sites do it properly (not more). I don't know if your site is done automatically. An image of 640 x 600 or 900 x 800 won't cut in general, certainly not to the size you are displayed on this Web page. These sites are usually not this worked well. I've written about how to do it on my blog here: Jao photo blog: a much simpler way to serve the retina displays the correct image but you need a way to use both versions of the image somewhere.

On your retina display when opening an image of 640 x 600 pixels in preview will also look bad as it will show too default double pixel. A good thing to do is to go to preferences in preview.app, click on the images and select "1-pixel image is equal to 1 pixel of screen. Then when you open small images, it should show the actual resolution of the screen. If your image is larger than the screen, you can press command-0 and it will display the image in the native screen resolution. Assume that you are using "best for display" in the context menu of the resolution in the display of system preferences section. You should have probably defined it this way in any case because otherwise the 1:1 in Lightroom do not display correctly. Your screenshot is displayed to indicate that you have defined properly.

In addition, there is absolutely no reason to use quality 100. Most of the 75-85 images will be indistinguishable from 100, but will be much smaller in size. Second, ignore the DPI setting. It is not relevant to the images online. The only thing that matters is the size in pixels.

  • 4 K Pro Res mast and PROXY

    Hello
I shot 4 k with two cameras. I then synced the material using PLURAL EYES. Now the next question:

When I import the movie synced PE file, first today creates the sequence "in sync."
    And records three more.
    .

    1 "camera 1

    2 "camera 2.

    3 "" audio Recorder ""

Now, how to produce the proxy now material so I can then edit with them?

And if I'm done I need to move to full quality how can I do this?

    Reg and thank you

    Markus from Berlin

Select all images in 1 folder camera (camera 2) right-click / proxies / create proxies...

Export is done automatically with the original film.

  • EXPORT hi res diagrams since InDesign cc

I create an InDesign document to PDF export for the web. There are many diagrams that I understand that I made in Illustrator and exported to PNG (also tried TIFF, but no difference). When I put in my InDesign document, they look quite good HOWEVER when I export to PDF diagrams are coming Blur/Blur (especially text in diagrams). Please is it someone could share their experience with how to get diagrams come out looking beautiful and strong and crisp in a PDF file for the web. I'm pretty new to this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I see my deadline creeping up on me!

    Thank youI

Go to Illustrator, save your file under HAVE and place them in InDesign.

  • What pre sequence defines to use if the import of Apple Pro Res files

    Hello

I just shot a clip with the BMCC using the apple ProRes format and want to import them into Adobe first Pro CS 5.5.

I don't know which sequence pre sets to choose when I'm in box new sequence at the beginning.

Anyone know what pre sets to choose?

    Thank you.

    Hi domingolamarre,

    Welcome to the forum!

    Here's what I'd do:

    • Click 'Cancel' and do not choose a sequence preset immediately.
    • Premiere Pro opens.
    • Import clips.
    • Drag one of the clips on the button new item at the bottom of the project Panel.
    • A new sequence corresponding to parameters of the element is created.
    • Continue editing in this sequence.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you

  • No Option to Pro Res 444

    Hello

Can anyone point me in the direction of any plug-ins etc maybe I need to download to export 444 Prores on Mac?

We cut using Project Red 5 K, and when exporting, we select Quicktime, (there are no custom option) and in the codec video option there is no format parameter Prores, can't seem to find anything on this line. We download a codec ProRes 4:2:2 pack for Media Encoder, yet once it there not 4:4:4...

    Image below illustrates our options...

    Screen Shot 2013-04-16 at 19.20.42.jpg

To the best of my knowledge, that the download includes only the presets, not the codec ProRes himself.  You should always get by installing FCP or compressor.

Looking at your screenshot, you have not yet all ProRes codecs.

  • Pro res 444 equivalent on PC

    Hello

I have a clip for a client, they recommend that I pulled out a .avi or .mov using ProRes 4444, unfortunately I'm working on a PC and cant exit using this codec.

Would you recommend that I use sage of codec? It must be lossless.

They will use the file either on an avid or FCP system for a codec that is familiar with both systems is required.

    IM using first Pro CS5

    Thank you!!

ProRes is not lossless.  It is almost without loss.

The closest thing it is probably of Avid DNxHD.   They introduced a 4444 with MC6.  I don't know if it's free, but other Avid codecs.

I haven't used, but I heard that Cineform is also lossless (or perhaps variable with up close to capacity without loss).

  • iMac times 5K vs Mac Pro which is best for export and rendering?

I am looking for a new machine edition and I'm debating between the new 5K iMac or Mac Pro.  I'm looking for something that will allow me to save time on exports of compression.

    Typical editing session:

Adobe first Pro CC mixed with some compositions after effects CC.  Export via Media encode.

-90 minutes of film Pro Res 422

    -Simple fades chained between songs

    -Green Screen to inlay

    -Light color correction

    -Graphic non-animation on screen

-Possibility of some sequences of 4K (no more than 5 minutes)

-Sequences linked to the external hard drive - exports going to the same drive. (Work of thunderbolt flow - see question below)

When I edit the rough cuts for the approval of the customer, I would be compressed in H.264 format for easier time download and playback via the cloud service (Vimeo, Dropbox or car) sharing

Which of these machines will be most effective in rendering, export and compression?

When I say effective, I mean, the Mac Pro will save an hour or two in the export of time me?  From what I understand, they are almost identical.  Mac Pro can accelerate a little with 12-cores, but the processor is slower on the 12-core.

PS - someone has a suggestion of confidence on a Thunderbolt 2 hard drive to edit out of?

    Ryan

Yes IE reading using 1 disk as media and exported to a separate drive will be faster export. Time of export of the AE exceed normally until the time of the export of first if the comps are something more basic. So if this time receiver is something your tent to relieve the cores/threads are making a difference in the RAM. The drive Bay 4 will give you redundancy and protection of data. If losing a days worth of work is not a big deal separated readers are very good. If this isn't the case, then you may want to consider the Bay 4 after all.

  • New clip sequence does not apply the compressor Pro of Res...

I wanted to test first to see if she could handle the Pro Res videos (who, after some initial research, I read that it is possible). So to see for myself, I imported a video Pro Res 422, the clip click right and choose 'new sequence of the Clip... But it seems not to apply the compressor Pro Res 422...

The video is originally HDV and I converted to the compressor to 422...

I know it is perhaps unnecessary to convert HDV to Pro Res (to not mention that the HD clips weigh 45 MB and convert 205 MB, although the res pro FCP is less tax on the system as opposed to HDV, not sure if it's the same with first)... But I will receive pro res files soon, and I want to make sure that they work properly in first.

    Thank you
