Exporting interactive buttons do not

Hello

I'm trying to create interactive buttonas that move the user on several pages at once - as a list of content.

When I export, he says adobe does not support the interactive feature.

Any page that is simply forwards or backwards works like email links etc. However jump pages is not.

I looked in the forums and it seems that PDF does not support this function, however, several people on various forums said to the pages hyuperlinks but how do I do if the document is not available online?

My colleague had published originally in a version of apple for ipad etc and clicked pages by perfectly and I'm fairly certain that the Publisher adobe did too however this document was made some time ago and we update so I can't be certain.

Any help most welcome...

Using Indesign Vesrion CC2015 on a Windows computer

Form of InDesign features are limited, but you can do it in Acrobat by creating links.

You can configure how you want the button to search using InDesign so that it looks nice, even if it is not functional.

Then, in Acrobat click on edit PDF.

Select the Connector tool, and then choose Add/Edit Web or Document link.

Drag the button and choose go to page in the dialog box view create a link that appears. And then click Next.

Go to the page and view that you want the link tip to, and then click on connect.

  • Interactive buttons, working on the Adobe Viewer, but not on the final application

    Hello world

    I had a lot of problems with interactive buttons:

    I made buttons with link with 'pageTo' and 'getURL' (and the "navto://Article#2" syntax).

    What I already know:

    • When you use the "navto" syntax, the first page is 0 (and not the 1 page);

    • I double check spelling of the Article and that's okay.

    the problem is that when I test the application with the Adobe Viewer on my iPad these links work well, but when I create the app and I test on my iPad .ipa file these links no longer work.

    I work on Mac.

    someone has an idea?

    Thank you very much!

    I select the button and then display the button panel.

    I delete the default "Go To URL" action and add a 'Go To Destination' action using the event to "on release".

    When I preview the page in the "Preview" Panel, I click "Play" and that he can see the first page and the (large) button, but when I click on the button, nothing happens.

    Changes of mouse I have the mouse on the button, the button state changes rolling State... everything seems good, but it is not actually exercise the action of going to the next page.

    I tried the export in PDF and ensuring that 'Include bookmarks' and 'Référence' is checked so that ensuring that 'create PDF containing the tag' is checked, but the exported pdf file does not work the action!

    You export to PDF (Print), by the sound of it, and the buttons do not work in Print PDF. Try to export to PDF (Interactive).

    Amy,

    YouTube is for the video, and a video is by definition non-interactive, so it is a normal behavior. Only output SWF and HTML5 can be generated interactive, no video.

  • My AS3 in Flash buttons do not work in HTML.

    Hey there,

    I created a SWF with 5 buttons. I used the following code:

    myButton1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, f);

    function f (e: Event) {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.myurl1.com"));

    }

    MyButton 2.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, F2);

    function f2(e:Event) {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.myurl2.com"));

    }

    MyButton 3.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, F3);

    function f3(e:Event) {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.myurl3.com"));

    }

    MyButton 4.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, F4);

    function f4(e:Event) {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.myurl4.com"));

    }

    MyButton 5.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, F5);

    function f5(e:Event) {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.myurl5.com"));

    }

    It works perfectly fine when I export the SWF of Flash file.

    When embedding the SWF in a HTML file, that nothing is happening. The buttons do not work, no error message, nothing.

    Help someone?

    Thank you!

    The code looks perfect isn't the problem.  It could be your embed code for the web page.  Have you tried to let the Flash to publish an html page and then tested this page, or you rely on something else to create the embed code?

  • How to make a flash file works as an epub or an online catalogue? buttons does not work...

    Hello I am doing an epub or a catalog online for my business, so people can open them on an Ipad. If someone could tell me the steps of the procedure to follow, that would be great. I already have the pages in photoshop and Illustrator CS5 and classified in InDesign CS5 and then exported to Flash to create buttons to switch pages, then converted to html file using technologies wallaby, but when I try opening upward in the html file, the buttons does not even appear. I even tried switching buttons to those I made in Illustrator and it still doesn't work. It works fine when I open the SWF on my computer but I can't send the SWF for a reason any. And my goal is to send this catalogue online by mail and by email. If someone could please help me accomplish this, I would appreciate it.

    Ah... I didn't know that you redo this post. I'll just say the jist. For publications that want to just produce something devices can read, focusing on the publication and the technology behind it, worry, this product is made for you (works with InDesign, Illustrator, etc.):

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/Digital-Publishing-Suite-family.html

    A multitude of devices and media can then see your published content.

    I use Acrobat X and system 10.6.8

    I found the answer to this problem myself!

    Because the interactive parameter does not support being kept spot colors causes problems with Illustrator RGB files that have been implemented using a spot color. Well, you can ask why you want the spot colors in Illustrator RGB file. Well, it is to keep all intact Lab values, but you cannot have all the points used in this way to work around the problem of color PDF.
