EXR import with layers

Photoshop CC2015 important files exr including diapers.  Can I import an EXR ok, but it's a single layer.

Does anyone know a work around for this in addition to having to purchase third-party plugins.

At that time, Photoshop does not support layers in the EXR files.

The only alternative is to use a third-party plugin.

  • Don't import with layers of I

Hi, I'm a newbie at this, but I don't think it would be this hard, I need to get all the layers for import to HAVE in AE, which seems simple, even for me, so I don't understand why I'm here about to throw my computer in this, I did some research and discovered that not all my layers are top layers but rather sous-calques , but the problem is that they are text layers so I can't just open a new layer and a text box on each layer since I want the letters to keep their job. Someone please help SOS. Advice for a beginner in AI and AE are appreciated the only experience I have with photoshop, but HAVE the text functions are much better. Thank you.

  • Importing Photoshop files with layers in AE

    Hello

I have a file with layers photoshop and here to import into AE as composition (no images) so that I can retain its layers. However, when I try to import the ps, it has not imported layers.  He has not even invite me with the dialog 'layer option '.  When I try to open the other ps file at random, they have worked very well. So I think it's something to do with my photoshop file.

    Any help appreciated.

Post a screenshot of your Photoshop file and the layers panel, unless it is in CMYK color (or possibly the Lab colors). If this is the case, change the color in RGB.

There is no reason to not have the option to import as a composition in the first dialogue, but the file will import that only a single layer and may not work at all.

  • Extend the 'footage' imported PSD layers

I imported a layered Photoshop file into After Effects as a model in layers with several layers of "footage".psd:

    Screen Shot 2016-06-27 at 1.23.33 PM.png

I have created and edited the comps in the 20 main comp with animations and effects. Now, I need to extend the .psd layers (all 7 s ~) to the length of the main comp(20s).

I tried dragging to extend their regions and right click > time > enable time Remapping(this allows me to extend the region with keyframes, but the content still ends proportionally short of the containing comp duration).

When I right click on the layer of .psd and click on 'Open Source layer', the preview displays the duration of the layer extending at once as it shows in the timeline(~7s)...

    icZAR.png

but green "render bar" only goes to 5s. And no content is visible while the playhead is at 6s, below...

    sWEMD.png

This is also when I drag the playhead in the timeline main comp - layers with this problem disappear to 5s, even if their areas extend to 7s.

    1. I need to get these parts of layer to increase the length of my 20 years comp.

2 it seems that the source of the layer is 5 s when I "Open Source layer", then even if the region is currently being extended to 7 s ~, 'content' only goes to 5s.

How can I extend it to 20 seconds without doing all my images keys/animations/effects all over again?

Or is there a way to re - import only the layers to lasting longer, but keep all my keys/animations/effects images.

Using the latest Photoshop CC 2015.5 v2015.3 & after effects CC.

    Thank you!

Sure sskaz is on, check if there is a timeline attached to your psd in Photoshop and delete it:

You can also freeze your layers in After Effects and make more time

  • Some import photoshop layers are empty squares [LOCKED - in double thread]

Hey guys! I'm new to After Effects and I have a big problem.

I created an image in photoshop, consisting of several layers of each with a little white line 1 layer with text and 4. The image is set to RGB. So I save it to my computer and go to the AE. Once I import the psd as composition I see is called 'Logo' (which I saved as psd).  You will find below is a drop-down list display of each layer. I would like to animate the layers individually, so I select all and drag them down in the timeline panel, but in the preview, it shows all my layers of line as just white squares containing the entire layer. The only layer that works as expected is the text layer, which shows the text, then the white background. I my AE background for black if this matter the value. Oh, and the composition of the Logo, which has imported looks as it should in the preview.

You guys could help me understand what goes wrong?

I think that this question has been answered here: on the imported photoshop layers white.

I'm trying to save a Photoshop file with layers to PDF and preserve the layers so that I can put this PDF file in InDesign and control layers in InDesign options there.

Doesn't seem to not apply to Photoshop, just common verbiage to all app help. In particular "tags, hyperlinks, bookmarks, interactive elements" have no equivalent of Photoshop, so it is optimistic to think that they will still make layers. This answer seems final How to import a PSD file into Indesign WITH layers so it can be edited/saved as an InDesign file? May be possible in Illustrator.

  • Import multi layers

Last night in class, our teacher has imported a document Illustrator layer 17 or 18. He did a layer at a time, and it took forever. I asked why he didn't just import all at once when you are prompted to. He said ' If you do this, AE will import them in a random order, and I need them piled up just the way I produced the original file in order to manipulate them well. " If I import them a single layer at a time, even if I do it in the mess, they will appear in the correct order in AE. You can imagine what my day is that when I import files with hundreds of layers! Welcome to Graphic Arts! "Is someone laughing at me?" Is this true? Unfortunately, I think remember that when I imported a layered PS file at once, I think it might have been in order, but just thought that I made a blunder? Because of me and that poor team of sake, tell me that it isn't so. Cin

I think you're misunderstanding the order of the list of assets in the project window for the assets stacking order in the timeline panel. Assets in the project window is sorted in alphabetical order by default, but you can click the various column headers to sort the items as you wish. If you open the After Effects composition created when you import your file as a model, you will see that your layers are indeed in the correct stacking order.

  • Placed PDF with layers - can layers be maintained and exported in a new PDF document?

A PDF layered in InDesign are these layers in the layers InDesign Panel? I have a PDF created in Illustrator CS4 multilayer. I am placing it in InDesign CS4 6.0.4 and that you want to export a PDF file with layers in tact of Illy. I use the Import Options dialog box show and can see all the layers tab layers. I tried both options for the links update so that the choice seems unimportant. I see only one layer, layer 1, in InDesign layers panel after you place the PDF file. I expect to see all the layers of any PDF file. I exported as Acrobat 6 to create checked Acrobat layers but the only layer in the exported PDF file is layer 1. I searched and read for a while and can not understand. Maybe I'm expecting something that is not possible, but it sounds like it should be. I tried placing a file have native with the same results. Where mistaken?

    Thank you

    Glenn

Layers of the image are not the same as InDesign document layers that exist on all pages, not only when you create. The layers of the image are contained within the image, which is an object ON a layer in the code. You can manipulate the layers in your images by selecting them, and then right click and choose the object layer Options...

  • Problem with layers

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with layers and have been racking my brain trying to figure out all day. Here's the thing:

I have a widget of particles on a single layer. The layer above it, has my Gallery thumb nails. The particles are still show if they are on the top layer.

Is there a fix, something with the widget, or is there a step I'm missing?

    Thanks in advance

I do not use the widget but guess it keeps track of your cursor to work... the life of cursor over each layer

How to add an interactive particle effect to your Adobe Muse Web site | Adobe Muse CC Widget | Muse - YouTube

You can try to put the widget on a master pager and the other images on the homepage... in code terms a master page is lower, but this is my only idea.

    Good luck

    Hi all

all I have is a dumpfile and an export a datapump log file. Export has been executed as user sys:

Now I have to import (with datapump) user USER01 and export USER02. But I don't know the name of the source database tablespaces.

I want to keep the name of the user (USER01/USER02). That's why I created these users in the target database.

    The questions I have are:

-should I start the import by datapump as user SYS?

-Should what settings I use to import users USER01, USER02 and data in the target database? Since I do not know the names of tablespaces

in the source database parameter REMAP_TABLESPACE will not help

    Any help will be appreciated

    J.

    Hi J.

    The questions I have are:

-should I start the import by datapump as user SYS?

No, you need to import with a user in the role of "imp_full_database".

-Should what settings I use to import users USER01, USER02 and data in the target database? Since I don't know the names of the storage spaces in the source database parameter REMAP_TABLESPACE will not help

Well, an idea is to generate you a schema import sqlfile and see in the ddl in what tablespace, it will try to create objects.

    Impdp------' / as sysdba------' directory = dumpfile = = = USER01, USER02 patterns sqlfile

For more information, take a look at the import documentation

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/dp_import.htm

    Hope this helps,

  • How to import with datapump tablespaces and another schema?

Hi, I need to import with datapump to another schema, data in 'x' tablespace and indexes in the tablespace 'y'

    example:

    My schema: prueba

I need to import the schema "prueba" but the data must be in the tablespace called "Tb1" and its index should be in the tablespace called "Tb2".

    So, how can I do?

    Any help will be appreciated.

As the noted the ground, do two imports, exclude to limit import and map objects to the appropriate storage space (to know what tablespace they were however)

    import 1 - exclude = index remap_tablespace = source: tb1

    import 2 - exclude = remap_tablespace = source table: tb2

  • Trying to save the Fireworks file as a .psd with layers... when opened in PS, it is a flat file.

What the devil I'm doing wrong?  Fireworks said it is registered with layers in .psd format when I completed the function "save under".  But when I open PS, the layers are gone.  It's so frustrating.  I bought PS because Fireworks is currently abandoned and I need to start moving my files to PS at this point I could use any application because I'll have to start over with a large part of this work if I can't translate.  So frustrating.  I go back PS if it does not work.   Can someone tell me what I need to do so that the function "save under" work as it says it works?  I am running Mac OSx and the CS6 for Fw and Ps - CC 2015.

  • Import with presets developed vs developing vs Export

Setting: Scientific Specimen imaging, using Lightroom to convert and normalize the types of images. All images are produced in a photobox, so are virtually the same as the actual sample.  The final products are jpeg and DNG images uploaded to a database.

The camera raw image files we 'Import' means the images to Lightroom with "metadata" and "Develop" presets activated, which gives DNG files for each image.  There is white balance, sharpness and the color correction preset hysteresis in the "develop" used for import, we do no further manipulation of the image in LR.

The fundamental Question is: are the DNG files from the 'import' final, usable, DNG of generated images, or these can be 'developed' or 'exported' to get the latest DNG?  Experimentally, we tried to do the 'export' and exported DNG files are exactly (byte) of the same size as the ones we have generated when they were imported.

The question is we do something else that wasting time when we do the 'export' to give a second series of DNG files?

    Thank you, Carl

Update: we did some tests and we found out, is that if you use the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop" the generated DNG file has modifications in the develop preset applied to the image in the DNG file.

Our experience: starting with 2 identical copies of the same RAW image, we did import with copy DNG twice - once with our development presets applied and the other without the develop presets.  We then exported the each image as a DNG, which gives an "only import" and a version "exported" of each image.  We then compared the 4 images (on another computer without LR), it is clear that there is no difference between the DNG format generated via "Import with copy DNG with presets to the point" and the images after export.

Thus, it is our conclusion that there is nothing to gain from the export to DNG that were generated images by using the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop."

Note: We use LightRoom CC 2015.3 Release, Camera Raw 9.3

  • Composition of import retain layers problems. Help, please!

    Hello

    I have Adobe After Effects CS5 10.0.0.458.

When I try to import a layered Illustrator file in AE as a "composition - keep the size of the layer" in this case: -.

    Screen Shot 2015-08-12 at 23.06.42.png

My layout of the Illustrator is all bundled together when it really should look as below (which works if I just import in the form of "composition", but obviously the centres all anchor points which is what I don't want)

    Screen Shot 2015-08-12 at 23.08.11.png

Can someone explain why this could happen? If yes how can I fix it?

I would really appreciate the help.

    Thank you

    Alex

In order to maintain the position, you must open the comp that is created when you import the file HAVE as a model by keeping the size of the layer. You cannot drag all the layers in a new comp and the end of the layers to the top of any where, but in the center of the model because the anchors are all in the center of their respective layers.
