  Harald,

  I suggest that tackle you your problems one at a time. Lets start with the addition of a new field - the date of birth. The main steps are:
  1. Add the column to DB.
  2 change the form (s) to work with the new column.
  3. edit the report (s) to show the new column.

  I was wondering if there is a way to customize the Panel layout? for example, I want the histogram, Keywords, design tools, etc. on the left side of the screen?  If the panels can be disconnected? (I'm left handed and have to go through my image when I use the touch / options to develop my image or make adjustments to pen)

  I use Lightroom CC (2015) on a Surface 3 Pro 10 Windows.

  Hi all

  I managed to create a Panel for CS4, which virtually replicates my CS3 Panel, using 'Generic' Panel System.  However, I don't find a way to place static text in the Panel.

  I just want simple static text in the Panel to guide the user how to complete the form. Adobe are doing this in their panels, however they are naturally created with Flex, which I did not.

  Someone else has managed all this?

  "BOLD" is what you get with this method.

  The tool tip help style (via the pointer of the mouse on the property tag) for each property (description =) is probably support for your task. I used paragraphs with this installation.

  I'm holding information version of model in some of my property and thought it was better to comply with the MORE standard.  However, I'm new to custom panels and am struggling to make it work.

  Everyone there already created a custom panel for CS3 for the standard MORE that I can 'borrow' (read steal) from?

  MORE Model Release status is a single text with a closed choice vocabulary field. It should be simple to implement in the file Info of CS3. In ADDITION, disclosure of minor model is similar. Version of model ID is a bag of text without vocabulary, simple to implement in the file Info of CS3.

  Some of the other fields INCREASINGLY are two-dimensional tables structured and cannot totally implemented in file information panels. As an alternative, the coalition MORE provides a web application to capture MORE complete metadata in an XMP 'model' which can be imported in a resource file via the installation of the model of information file (right arrow at the top right corner of the Panel).

  Pound Hill software provides a MetaGrove plug-ins for Photoshop that supports structured multi-dimensional XMP tables. It includes a dialog box-the-box for full MORE metadata schema. Attached is an example of file created by the MetaGrove plug-ins for Photoshop which includes the three above MORE focused on the model of the fields. It should help to test your custom panel.

  The standard "Photo IPTC metadata ' published last year includes these three MORE focused on the model of fields and three others of his own adds: person in the picture, additional information of model and model age. It can also be implemented in the Info file. Entries to the person in the Image and the age of the model lists seem to indicate manual coordination with the version ID of model list entries. For the IPTC Photo metadata lie at the bottom of the screen shots of a dialog box MetaGrove: http://www.poundhillsoftware.net/photoshop.htm the model fields are on the seventh screen capture.

• How c ++ extend customer use getLockAll function

  I use ContinuousQueryCache to add POF objects to the cache. I need to lock hide any additional data. But when I call following function, it says remote RemoteNamedCache does not support the LOCK_ALL function.

  Is there a way that we can achieve together cache lock.
  
  The main reason to follow during data added, we do not have a way to call cache-> lock (key) function. Because we do not yet have a key. In order to achieve that we thought to block cache everything. Even when we start to add a lot of data objects internal structure might change and it would increase to hold many objects of memory. If we don't lock him up two data inserters could screw up the internal data structure of coherence and screw up the whole program.
  
  Please guide me how to reach above requirement. With shared memory, we can have in the lock of the process and who comes first will get the lock and no one can recover so shared memory will be safe. Even if we can have a mutex locking device, it would be great.

  Hello

  Partitioned cache can't lock all anyway. Instead, you can use a special key that your process will be thread as mutex. Convetion single process with the lock on this key can work. Also for consistency * Extend have loack service is disabled by default (and why). Also if you use for example "LOCK_ALL" string as your mutex, there is no need for the entry with the key "LOCK_ALL" to be present in the cache (locks are totally independent of the data entries).

• Workspace customized with panels on the left...

  .. .next to the Toolbox. Thought it was a great idea, until I realized that my document window is not in contact with these panels on the left side, but go behind them. Is anyway to prevent this?

  Application framework must be verified. Then the document windows hould stay behind the pallets. They don't do that here.

  Are you sure, that you truly anchored the paleetes? Move them to the left and wait for the blue hilite appear, then let go.

  So I have a panel Flash in Flex that uses 'MMExecute', I created for call JSFL commands to do various things in Flash.  I would like to move this Panel in a CS Extension, however, I'm having a devil of a time out how to get that allows to work with "MMExecute" to work with "() .evalScript () CSXSInterface.getInstance". "

  (1) performing a comprehensive Embedded Script:

  With MMExecute, I would just integrate a whole JSFL script (as decaired all my functions and variables) in my AS3, turn the script into a string, and run MMExecute (Globals.jsfl included in my sample project) chain attached:

  I havet worked very well! Then I sew just call something like this:

  Now with CSXSInterface:

  CSXSInterface.getInstance (.evalScript ( this.) GlobalsJSFLString) get only error JS.  So, I resorted to the script JS save it to the local system and then call "fl.runScript" to run the JSFL script... It's super complicated but I can get the script runs. It sucks, I have to write the file to the system so that it will run?

  (2) appeals to JS always run in the same JS engine? (doesn't seem to be the case):

  One of the great things that I rely on my process of MMExecute to work is that ' all the ' calls to MMExecute to my 'Panel' are to be run in the same JS engine.  So if I declare namespace once (say when creating full), I can access this namespace and all variables/functions I've associated that it contains at any time.

  It's important supper using functions such as "fl.getElementByType" or fl.getElementByName"as" 'ObjectFindAndSelect.jsfl ' must be instantiated before this function can be called. "

  In my original Flash panel, I've called simply " MMExecute ("fl.runScript (fl.configURI + ' ObjectFindAndSelect.jsfl/Javascript ');" )" );  "the creationComplete.  Who gave all of my following scripts access to its functions. 

  Now I can not find anything I said in the previus script calls. I can't even 'ObjectFindAndSelect.jsfl' to run and to be detected in the same script.

  I created a test project that illustrates my best attempt declaring function/variables global and instantiation '() .evalScript () CSXSInterface.getInstance' through my CS Extension.  I tried a number of different methods to call JSFL and the included (if complicated) method is the only way I got to work.   What am I doing wrong?

  There are things not just in your project.

  First thing is to make sure that your manifest file contains a object. Without it, your extension will not load the script and functions declared in it will be unavailable.

  In the DispatchInfo, it goes something like this:

  This could make it work; but there are also other issues. Please let me know what you find.

• FileInfo recording custom control panel is not new metadata

  I wrote a script to copy the text of a variable in a XMPTextInput or XMPTextArea field. Once compiled and opened as a FileInfo in Illustrator Panel, when I click the button, the text appears in the desired field. However, it is not saved when the window is closed. Does not work with or without the dispatchEvent code. I can find no online reference of the right way to call the event xmpWrite, so I copied this dispatchEvent to a panel of sample code.

  Hi Alex,

  1 give the area of the XMPTextInput an ID as id = "_dcSubject".

  2. instead of dispatchEvent (XMPEvent (XMPEvent.XMP_WRITE)); use

  _dcSubject.dispatchEvent (new Event (Event.CHANGE));

  Then the text entry field stores the value when the dialog box is closed.

  The reason is that XMP_WRITE causes controls to store their content when the content has been modified by user input.

  When you change the property 'text' programmatically, it is not "noticed".

  Don't know how I did it, but don't know how to cancel it.  Somehow, I changed the other button in the custom property Panel.  I use DW CC 2014 so don't know if this is an upgrade in 2014?

  The only thing I didn't understand about is why it's different CBWMS and PCOC 2014.

  You will need to ask about the 'authorities'. I have exactly the same thing. Until you said it, I didn't even notice the BOM change, and frankly, I think it's better as "custom".

• Extending Panel titlebar

  frickin_chickin you were right. The values of height and width default for new IUComponents are 0... When I put their equal to 100 & 300 (respectively) the title bar appeared!
