  There is a quick and easy way to do it. Not sure how you feel well. You can change the vo xml file and edit the sql code. This of course not patch resistant. The alternative is a substitution of the VO.  A quick dirty way is to get a copy of $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/per/selfservice/personalinformation/server/BasicDetailsCurrentVO.xml and modify the sql statement:

  Change in per.national_identifier

  TO

  "XXX - XXX - |  SUBSTR(per.national_identifier,8,4) national_identifier

  This apparent changes the view object. Of course the right way is seen object substitution.

• New Look and Feel - why I am a "student"? And no recaptcha Image last night?

  Like the new look, but:

  -Why I am a "student" and where can I change this (if anywhere) as its not obvious on the profile page.  In fact the profile is pretty useless - cannot change the user name - I could use my old I tried to do too much was already in use (of course).

  -Last night, when I wanted to participate in the forums that I couldn't because it kept asking me to recaptcha verification words, but the word images not show so I couldn't enter forums. I've tried three different browsers, empty cookies blah blah blah. 8 hours later the word verification image appears immediately.  No good first impressions on the new look and feel.

  -I'm also annoyed because I bought a new printer and cannot reset the password to access eprint is very frustrating (but it is on another post)

  Usually users use just the Forms interface.

  However, there is no reason why you can not put the SMS EIT feature on the menu of your HR professional instead. If you do this, the HR professional users would use the 'Search' box at the top of the page to find people in their security profile (rather than see a graphical hierarchy) - they can then them transact exactly the same way as would a Manager.

  I wonder why the look and feel of Android apps only differs from that of the rest of the development for BB10 Playbook & platforms. I read somewhere that RIM wants all their apps to be consistent across all platforms and that is why AIR apps and native applications have the same user interface. For example, the way that is menu. the color and size of the title bar, etc. But the Android Runtime Apps are always the Android UI 2.3.3. Will RIM work on this in the future? Or DURATION always Android apps will have different UI than the Native BB10/Playbook apps? And also they plan support the latest Android OS? Because it's really hard back in 2.3.3 so that I can port my app to BB10/PlayBook.

  Since the Android Runtime is based on Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 menus and controls will be shown as they would on an Android device. • My Windows look and feel has changed

  Usually, I'm able to Google solutions to all my computer problems, but this one I can't understand. Just using my computer normally (alt tab frequently between windows 5 or 6), I don't know what I pushed, but something so my windows look and feel has changed in a couple of ways, and I want to know how I can change it back. My buttons of legend (close, optimize and reduce) have changed the way they seem to be normal square icons to 3 horizontal lines identical blue. They look cool, but more difficult to click and boring. In addition, my menu alt tab changed to regular desktop icons - he used to display an overview of large size of each window, each about the size of 4 desktop icons implemented. Can someone tell me what I did to make this change? I've done before, restarted my computer and the appearance was back to normal, but I did once again, somehow and close down / restarts and other parameters such as personalization, the appearance of the window and themes will not change this back. Help!

  Have you tried to remove alienware theme?  Sounds like a good place to start, most of the third-party themes replace system files used for window styles and legend buttones (.msstyles files), and I bet that's the root cause of here.

• ODI 12 c, Menu bar disappears with the Windows look and feel

  I've changed the look and feel of Oracle for Windows in the preferences, but ODI restarted disappeared from the menu at the top of the application bar. I can't change the look and feel of back because I can't have preferences as there is no menu.

  I had a glance in conf files for this setting, but can't find it.

  How can I change the look and feel back to Oracle or get the menu bar in the look and feel of Windows?

  I want to thank PhoneNumbersVO VO on the employee self-service > my personal information page

  Here's what I've done so now

  1. copy everything under JAVA_TOP > oracle/apps/by/self-service/personal information / * on my desktop under files Myclasses and MyProject.

  2. scope of the VO and added my new columns to the query. This view is not attached to any EO.

  3. copy the class under myclasses to JAVA_TOP files > xx > folder/apps/by/self-service/personal information/server oracle

  4 imported .jpx file using jpximport

  5 .bounced apache

  6. in the Applications, customized phone to add 2 columns newly created in the custom t section.

  View instance serves as my extended VO

  7. now, when I go back to the page I get error

  Did you create the substitution on jDeveloper? Otherwise, the jpx download the news saying Oracle to use the VO scope:

  3.5 project components/properties/Business Substitutions. Select a seeded on left, extended one to the right and click Add, it should appear on the substitutions.

  Now, you can import the jpx.

  To confirm, verify the jpx, it should have a section of substitutes at the end:

  I am currently using OIM 11 g (11.1.1.3.0) and I had a feature working before, but now I can't remember what I did to make it work...
  
  I created two fields that are defined by the user and authorization policies associated with them so that I can view (at least since the creation of the direct user via Xelsysadm). I can't, however, view these attributes in a self-service basis 'Create User' or 'Edit user' for the life of me.
  
  My ultimate goal is to be able to see these attributes on forms (direct creation of the user, creating self-service user) and ultimate make both required (via changing the CreateUserDataset.xml in metadata).
  
  When I run WeblogicExportMetadata.bat, I get off the elements of the IOM, but attributes that are not visible on the self-service application dataset are not the CreateUserDataset.xml (which is a given). How to enable these attributes to be on this form?
  
  Also, should what xml metadata I change so that my custom attribute is required on the direct creation page in the administration console?

  What operating system do you use?  It is 32-bit or 64-bit?  Applications will not appear if you have an OS 32 bit 64 bit needed to run.
