Extensions manager not finding Dreamweaver?

Little about exactly what it says - it found all my other products CC, but when I went to install a dreamweaver extension, he says "Dreamweaver 6 or later version required" and I was like "I CC" - but then I looked in the 'my products' column and all EXCEPT Dreamweaver was listed. Any ideas?

EDIT - tried to restart and reinstall. did not help.

EDIT EDIT - it's CC and CC Dreamweaver extensions Manager - so that they are the correct versions.

Found an older thread and resolved and while the 'official' solution did not work for me, I started talking about another contributor (Spenny) on the wire, and he found the solution that worked for me - namely, check out CC in the main application of CC, update of all my products and the re-login in. you can see our discussion at Re : CC Adobe Extension Manager problems.

    Hi Tr_moore,

Apologies that you have faced this issue with the extensions Manager, can you please follow the steps below and let us know if it works for you.

Sorry, we have not clean workaround, there is a somewhat destructive solution, where in all your extensions previously installed for all products Adobe will be deleted, you need to take note of all the extensions installed for each Adobe product and install them one at a time after you follow the steps below.

1 Goto under folder and remove it completely

    Win: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6

    Mac: / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6

2 Goto under folder and remove it completely

    Win: %Appdata%\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6

    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6

Please note the difference in the path of Mac, there is an extra ' ~ ' to the point n ° 2

3 uninstall the Extension Manager CS6 with Remove preferences.

    4. now install Extension Manager CS6

    We know if that helps.

  • Relocated Dreamweaver > extension manager will not find it

    Hello

I moved most of my Adobe apps on a new HARD drive for space issues. My Extesión handler now will find Dreamweaver more: whenever I double click on an extension .mxp to install it, I get this kind of message:

"Failed to install this extension. "Dreamweaver 8 or newer is required" (note that I Dw CS4!)

Is there a way to specify the new location of my installation of Dw for the extensions Manager in the REGISTRY for example? Or maybe in a configuration XML file...

    Thanks in advance,

    Jacques

    Hello

Unfortunately you will have this problem with all your installed programs if you just 'moved' files because the registry entries refer to the original installed program position.

I know it's probably too late, but you must de-register your programs, uninstall, then install them on the new hard drive. The only way now is to edit all your registry entries so that they refer to the new location of the files, (I've heard of programs that will do this for you, but as for their name, sorry).

  • CC of Dreamweaver appearing is not in the extension manager

I just installed Dreamweaver CC (13.2%) and fires Fireworks CC and would like to re - enable JSP support.  However, Dreamweaver does not appear in the extensions (6.0.8.28) Manager.  Fireworks makes its appearance.

If anyone else has had this?  Is there a solution?

All sorted.  I had to install the extension manager for CC first, before installing the extension of JSP support.

  • Update of the extension did not start more and why disappeared my (still works) add-ons/extensions in the add-it-manager?

I use ff4 beta3 on a Win7 PC, this problem appeared in the beta 2 release.

Some extensions still work very well: Adblock plus, NoScript,.

Others appear in the menu of the hull, but aimless: video download helper, Ubiquity (a small rectangle behind the arrow in the menu right-click) and no longer work.

Updated extensions via the button in the gui management either dosen't work.

This problem is permanent. I don't think that there is a problem with some extension, but I could be wrong. I had installed about 30 extensions, many have been disabled.

    Thank you very much

    Andi

Beta 4 is already available (24 August): http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Beta 5 will probably be released next week: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_4.0b5

You can delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files": http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions

If you see disabled extensions are not compatible on the next departure in "tools > Modules > Extensions" and then click "Find updates" to do a compatibility check.

  • Adobe Extension Manager does not install server behaviors WebAssist MySQLi

Recently, I upgraded my copy of Dreamweaver Dreamweaver CC. Now, I am trying to download WebAssist MySQLi server behaviors, their latest version for CC I have re-uploaded today. I also installed the latest version of Adobe Extension Manager CC. However, the installation fails with the message that the extension needs Dreamweaver 9 or a later version.

I see that others have had problems with extensions and DW CC, but responses do not really help this problem.

Adobe has decided to stop the extensions Manager, it no longer works, from 2015 CC and moving forward: Adobe Exchange

You can always get EM that will work, DMXZone has a free one that seems to work fine with most third-party extensions.

If you have PCOC 2015 (go to help > about Dreamweaver to check), you will need a third party EM.
