• Help with movie that continues to play when we click on a text external link button

  I am using Captivate 3.

  I have a movie with text buttons different one of my buttons in this particular module I created when clicked opens a PDF file for the display external.

  However, my movie in the background continues to play when I need to stay on this Menu screen with different buttons.

  Ideally if the user makes when looking at an external PDF can then click another button to continue to the section in the film where they need to go to the demonstration of software.

  Any ideas on how to get it to stop?   I thought I had work yesterday, but today is not... Its possible, I removed a break in double or something?

  * UPDATE - just went to check the settings of break... It STOPS CORRECTLY if I click on the external link once button... but if I click on it again... It opens again the link and then the demonstration starts playing in the background...

  What I'm trying: all "_system", "_blank", "auto" with different methods (such as window.open, cordova.) InAppBrowser and etc), simple and deviceready links listeners (with windows.open = cordova. InAppBrowser), different configs in config.xml and many more methods. But none did not work, links simply do not open at all.

  The link works within the FM (hold the button ctrl + alt and click on the link)? If this does not work there, then your path information is not correct. Also, I think you might need to use the path in quotes because of the space in the folder name - FM has a heritage of unix and is a little sensitive on the paths and file names.

  I use RH 7 HTML. The server that hosts my webhelp comes to be changed and I need to change all the external links; they are all currently lead to dead ends. A developer has suggested to use relative paths to ensure that I wouldn't have to change each url must change server hosting again.   Everything you have to do is work (up and down) of the file that you, not the full path.

  Make sure that the field 'Name of Alias BB' on the 4.40 customer Configuration Editor is, exactly (case, character for character), the name of the client defined in the bb-hosts on the BBServer file.

  From what you have stated above, I think that the file association for LNK files has been given misdirection to the VLC Player. I've seen this happen when opening a program via a shortcut (for example. LNK file), you are asked what type of program to open it with. After selecting the VLC Player (or another program) via the Select a program from a list of programs installedand check always use the selected program to open this type of file (circled in red below), the document or program referenced by the shortcut of origin opens in VLC Player as it should.

  

  The problem is that now all shortcuts (for example. LNK files) on the desktop or in the browser will want to be opened by VLC Player and VLC Player icon to view the shortcut no matter what shortcut was originally intentioned to open. This is known as a file association and the default icon. The same condition can occur if you have performed these actions 'Open with' on one. JPG or even a. EXE, but the. LNK explanation is much more likely for the items on the desktop.

  The good news is that a small free utility was written to cancel the. LNK file association was created. There is also a registry hack to achieve, but I recommend the utility unAssoc for its ease of use.   Hi, I am new to BB and need help with the calendar.  Do not have microsoft outlook, I would like to be able to sync a calendar of office with my BB 8330.  The research I found indicates that BB will only synchronize with outlook, lotus, and? something else.  Is this true?  I have to just bite the bullet and download outlook?  I have windows vista with the following microsoft office 2007 and it came with microsoft office oneNote.  Anyone who is familiar with that?  Know if that can be synchronized with my BB from oneNote to synchronize with outlook?  Thanks for your understanding!
