  Thanks to all who gave me a little help of entry and made me think. BUT...

  It all sounds so complicated (and it might be easy for others) and confused, I just thought and decided that I just reinstalled my old internal hard drive and use it as Windows 7 Pro and when I want to use Windows 10 Pro (and be familiar with it), I'll just remove/unplug the old hard drive Windows 7 Pro and install the new hard drive SSD with Windows 7 Pro and upgrade to Windows Pro 10.

  Seems easier for me!

  My next question is:

  It is true that, in order to PARTITION Windows 10 Pro and Windows 7 Pro on the same laptop, I need two licenses?

  And,

  Since my laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium already installed and I have upgraded to Windows 7 Pro with the purchase of a Windows Anytime Upgrade KEY is a license?

  Might want to change your topic: activate _ updates (on or off)?  I guess that 'off' because they would be 'on' by default and given your body of the message.
   
  Everything and nothing (electricity, heat, installed applications, antivirus, your Internet applications and method, etc.) can change your Windows installation in a way that could have an effect on your system.
   
  While it is true that the last two months of updates caused some problems on some installations (some even which surrounds whether the reported OS is it authentic or not)-these errors were not impossible to fix, etc.  However, in some cases, the updates are released to avoid a problem that can be more of a disaster than to have to prove you own Windows and get it activated (as someone to install malicious software on your computer because you visited your new favorite web page and looked at a picture it and all your user name and password you enter on web pages are currently sent to someone ' one/something left for one) later use.)

  Hi, I and Inspiron E1505 and I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to an Inspiron 1525 comparable.  The 1525 is replacement of the E1505 is not it?  My E1505 has Vista with a CPU T7200, 2GB of RAM, 120GB HD, built in WiFi G Intel, Mobility Radeon X 1400, upgraded Sound Blaster Audigy.
