Extra-large label

I started to rewrite a cascading Android app, and I came across a problem. My application requires a font size of very large size, which I am unable to get into stunts. It turns out that textStyle.fontSize: FontSize.PointValue can not go more than 80, even if I put it at 200, it is still only 80. I need more then that I need to extend this text on the screen! Label:

{Label
text: '12:13.
textStyle.color: Color.Blue
textStyle.fontSize: FontSize.PointValue
textStyle.fontSizeValue: 80
horizontalAlignment: P
//...
}

If you're wondering why I need if large fonts, check the current version of the "giant" clock

If there was a way QT that would be ok as well.

It IS possible to do in QT! I have gone through all the documentation and found that I can scale

Label *timeLabel = Application::instance()->scene()->findChild("timeLabel");
    timeLabel->setScale(1.5);

and that's all! It can evolve to whatever size you want!

  • Find the old XP for large fonts setting, Extra large fonts in Win7

    Under Win XP, if you right click the desktop, you can go into the settings display or appearance (I forget which) and choose to change the font size in the world, the Normal font, large fonts or Extra Large.  You can also change the ppp settings.

    In Win 7, it seems only global allows you to change the sizes of police or through DPI settings, and for me, is not enough.  I had found the right combination of a DPI higher associated with "large fonts", which worked very well in most programs.

    My question: nor not Win7 were the old normal, large and extra-large, choice of fonts hidden somewhere like the one shown below (and again, I speak NOT the DPI settings for large fonts)?

    (Also, I don't know about the font in IE settings, etc., but it's too not that I am referring is.)

    Thank you

    Hello dworskye,

    Unfortunately this option is no longer available.
    You can change the resolution, change the DPI, and depending on the used theme change the sizes of individual fonts. Need you to do this right click the desktop, click personalization, Color of Windows, click on Advanced appearance settings
    Hope this helps

  • [Bug] Extra large leak of great resources and crash Windows Media Player (WMP) and music collections.

    The installation program:

    Windows 8 Pro x 64.

    WMP 12.0.9200.16420

    Question:

    In the trial of an extra-large music collection (~ 148 000 songs, mostly VBR *.wma) default WMP x 32 app will cause a memory leak upward to 1.5 GB in the Task Manager and then "hang" corrupt the database as it attempts to interview and initially to build the database.  The application itself will lose its bmp controls (they're going black when you place the cursor or spend on them with a mouse) when he hung.

    This is not a regression, happened to Win7 x64as well.

    Previously, it was necessary to create two scheduled tasks that would launch WMP every 5 minutes. and that would kill the process every 40 minutes. If the program would be terminated before fleeing corrupt the database.

    We had hoped that MSFT would do some better load/stress for large media libraries test to see the availability of retail.

    Please try to repro and fix, thank you.

    I also noticed that there is a serious memory leak in WMP 12 on Windows 7/8. Specifically, WMP loses memory each time he reads album art that is incorporated into a music file. Could be the leak even like what you feel?

    After finding the exact cause of the leak, I was able to lead to a workaround that I have included in my plugin WMP Tag Plus . This work around has not been officially published yet, but if you are interested, I can send you a version of the plug-in for you to try. You can contact me via the email address on my site.

  • Display constantly size Extra Large (200%) value in Windows with Update 9.1

    When I first boot Windows 8.1. Update (inside VMware Fusion 6.0.4), my screen it defined thus:

    Screen Shot 2014-08-07 at 3.31.40 pm.png

    I then set to "Smaller - 100%" and press 'apply '. He asked me to disconnect apply changes, what I'm doing.

    When I log in the office is as expected, set to "Smaller - 100%", but after a very short while the following message appears:

    Screen Shot 2014-08-07 at 3.33.42 pm.png

    If I disconnect and back again, the screen has once more the value ' Extra Large - 200%.

    Can anyone advise how to solve this problem?

    Disable "Automatically adjust the size of user interface in Windows" was enough to solve this problem. However, the solution above might also work.

    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
