  • Extracting data from table without refreshment and without using the tab key.

    Hi friends,

    I have a problem I want to extract data from table without discount in the text field without using the Tab key. When I enter a field value any value then the text corressponding should enter into corressponding textfield without using the Tab key.

    for example. When I get back emp_id 101 in a text field then first_name and last_name, address would come in to the text fields corressponding without refresh and use the Tab key.

    How can I do that.

    Thank you
    Maury

    Hi Maury,

    I guess it's similar to: retrieving data without refreshing rather than Re: value of a textfield should enter into an another textfield without using the TAB ?

    If so, the only change you want to bring on the first is to use the parameter "Onkeyup" instead of "onchange" in the 'HTML Form attributes of the element' element.

    Note, however, that the user must move away from the issue at some point (for example, to click on a button), so the onchange will fire anyway.

  • Is it possible to send a backup itunes to icloud?

    Sounds random, but here's why...

    Old iphone went nut should therefore take to apple to be fixed and it wiped (I backed up on mac before). The fix did not work, so they replaced handset and im new with this one and can recover most of the things I need quite simply, except for one thing... (priceless) notes!

    My thought is that all my notes are from the itunes backup, but I don't want to just back the notes, so if I could somehow that transfers upwards to icloud, I could just pick the notes and boom! happy days :-)

    You can't choose what specific data to restore from a backup.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    You can use SUBSTR and INSTR
    This should work in Oracle 9:

    WITH     cntr     AS
    (
         SELECT     LEVEL     AS n
         FROM     dual
         CONNECT BY     LEVEL <= 3
    )
    ,     got_pos          AS
    (
         SELECT     x.txt
         ,     c.n
         ,     INSTR (x.txt, '[', 1, c.n)     AS l_pos
         ,     INSTR (x.txt, ']', 1, c.n)     AS r_pos
         FROM           table_x  x
         CROSS JOIN    cntr     c
    )
    SELECT        txt
    ,        n
    ,        SUBSTR ( txt
                   , l_pos + 1
                , r_pos - (l_pos + 1)
                   )     AS sub_txt
    FROM        got_pos
    ORDER BY   txt
    ,             n
    ;

    Sorry, I don't have an Oracle 9 database now; I had to test this in Oracle 10.

    It's true. Regular expressions are very useful, but they are not available in Oracle 9 (or earlier).
    Oracle 9 has a package supplied by Oracle, OWA_PATTERN, which provides regular expression features:
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B12037_01/AppDev.101/b10802/w_patt.htm
    I know it's the Oracle 10, documentation, but there are in Oracle 9, too.

    Oracle 9 is very old. You should consider the upgrade.

  • Re: Satellite P100: need to backup data using Recovery CD for Vista

    I have some problems with my laptop and I want to know what should I do a backup of my files before I put the vista recovery cd or I can put it like that?
    My installed l will be ok without backup or im going to lose them?

    Hello

    The use of the recovery CD Toshiba Vista redefines the laptop to factory settings. This means that you will get the same State as at the start.

    The recovery CD format the whole HARD drive and installs the image of Toshiba which contains the Win OS Vista, Toshiba drivers, tools and additional software.

    If you have installed all the important data and files on the HARD drive, then I would recommend running a backup before you start the installation from the recovery CD.

  • update the applet without backup of previous data applet

    Hi all

    I want to update my applet by the terminal. I have to do these following steps:

    (1) make a backup of the current applet data.
    (2) deletion of old applet and install again.
    (5) setting all the backup data in the new applet.

    Is it possible to update applet without obtaining the data to backup?

    Thank you very much

    Yes, you can separate your data into a different cmdlet that exposes a SELF to access the data. Then you have your business logic in a main applet that can be removed and reloaded independently of the data applet. You should be able to get a reference to this applet when you reload your main applet, but when you do you have access to all existing data. Impossible to delete and reload the applet data even if, like which will remove the data as well.

    Other than the answer is no.

    See you soon,.

  • Extract data from Oracle into excel file

    Hello

    I have a requirement where in I need to extract data from Oracle into excel file and the worksheet excel name should be 'given '.
    for example. Excel 'AR Data_DDMMYY' file name and the name of the "Data" sheet excel

    I used the UTL_FILE API to extract the data delimited by tabs that you can open in excel, but it's not exactly an excel file as the name of the worksheet is the same as the name of the file.

    I tried to use utl_file.fcopy and frename.

    Is it possible to do it using PLSQL?

    Hello

    I tried to change the .xlsx to .xls and it gives a note at the opening of the file "the file you are trying to open, abc.xls, is in a different format that it is specified by the file extension. Check that the file is not corrupted and precedes from a trusted source before you open the file. Do you want to open it now? »

    When you rename the file does not solve your problem.
    Anton Scheffer package generates a file in format xlsx Office 2010. When rename you it with the .xls extension, then Office 2010 will give you the warning that the file format does not match the extension.

    but the requirement has to generate excel 2003 file.

    The xml_spreadsheet package writes a format that was introduced with Office 2003, but you must use .xml as extension in other Office 2010 will give you the same caveat.
    To write the real xls version (binary), you can use Apache POI. You will need to import Java classes in your db and write a PL/SQL wrapper. Or you can use one of the options above, writing the output to a windows server and then use Excel to open and save in the required format.

    You must decide whether it is easier to write the binary xls format or to convince the customer to accept other formats that can be opened with Excel.

  • Data recovery for backup ESX4

    I already do the backup to the LUN with 'Data Recovery '. Is it possible for me to complete the data in the LUN to the tape recorder. BTW, could someone tell me what the DR uses for backup? Is - this mode of SAN or NBD?

    Is it possible for me to complete the data in the LUN to the recorder

    In its current form, no.  IF you use a vmdk for the target of the VDR, you always have to copy this vmdk in tap somehow drive... There is no way to archive data still... I'm sure that VM ware is working on this, but seeing as how VDR is always 1.0... It could be a year or two before we see this mature at this point.

    Take the name, the more sinister than the backup.  This is an archive of the reserve, not long term.

    Is - this mode of SAN or NBD?

    Both.  I found out today that if you put a VDR in a datacenter, and your VM of in a different datacenter these backups will be the network.  If VDR is unable to access the vmdk he tries to backup, you will also get a network backup.

    HE reconfigures the VM, add the disk to the VM VDR and makes local, so that the data (add min scsi) local to the machine virtual and copied via the San, because it is mounted.  He's trying SAN first, then he resorts to the network.

    So I think you need to do so that the LUNS are visible on the ESX host where the VDR, so that it can correctly 'see' the VMs for SAN backup.

    If you restore from a backup of iCloud apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from backup iTunes, applications and music must be in iTunes since synchronized as music media library and apps are not included in the backup of the iOS device what iTunes does.
    You can re-download most of iTunes purchases by:

    IPad disabled with thousands of pictures of children that are not backed up with iTunes or icloud. Recommendations for the recovery of photos please?

    Sorry, but if your device is disabled and you have no backup, then you won't be able to save the data on the device:

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204306

    You should back up your device regularly to iCloud or import your photos to an application on your computer. Otherwise, you will be risking losing those photos. If your device has been lost, stolen, or crushed by your car, you'd be in the same situation. Really sorry for your photos.

  • Incomplete data file recovery

    Hello

    I use oracle database 10g (10.2.0.10) in RHEL5. I want to make a point in time recovery a backup data file. Through RMAN, I published the following command

    RMAN > run {}
    2 > sql ' alter session set nls_date_format = "dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss";
    3 > set until that time August 21, 2011 13:04 ';
    4 > restore datafile 4;
    5 > recover datafile 4;
    6 > alter database open resetlogs ;}

    But RMAN made a full recovery. Yet once again, I deleted the data file and restore the backup data file. Now, I wrote the following at the SQL prompt

    SQL > alter session set nls_date_format = 'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss ";
    Modified session.
    SQL > recover datafile ' / u01/app/oracle/oradata/ORATESTDB/datafile/o1_mf_users_751h7fmh_.dbf' until August 21, 2011 13:04 ';
    ORA-00274: illegal until recovery option

    It displays the above error. But I am able to perform incomplete recovery of the complete database using RMAN same as above.

    Done datafile point-in-time recovery is not possible? or is there something wrong in my approach?

    Kind regards

    007

    A data file can be recovered to a point in time which is incosistent with the rest of the database.
    (why? Data integrity! A table with several extensions that can cover several data files. You can't have some scopes with data from 12:05 and other extensions into another file of data retrieved using data from 10:05! Even if it's a single datafile tablespace, you will violate referential integrity (whether or not they are applied) If, say, the SALES table has entries until 12:05, but the SALES_LINES table has entries until 10:05!)

    You can make a Tablespace recovery time by using an auxiliary Instance and then copy the tablespace back. You must maintain integrity.

    So I have to install the original image using the image on the HARD drive.

    I appreciate your help
    Thank you

    > Can I do recovery without the disc?

    What to say I created a clean image of the operating system file using Norton Ghost utility and saved this file on the second partition.
    In this case I can still use this image file to restore the C partition any and I do not need the recovery CD.

    I ve made a good experience with utility Ghost and in my opinion it s one of the best tools to create images and backups.
