F5 @ 240 fps - 'no image' RAW Viewer?

Hello

I pull the material with the F5 and the FPF R5 @120 and @240 FIRST.

Images of 240 fps was going well when he plays the recorder.

But when I try to do with the RAW Viewer, I did no thumbnail image (except the "No Image" message) and reading Viewer shows only a white screen. I see that all the data and metadata is and other clips @120 fps I can see and play fine. I checked it at new playng the recorder back - no problem.

Any idea what I might be missing?

Thank you!

J

Problem solved! Yes, I didi have the latest version of the viewer of BRUTES - and Resolve alos showed me only a black frame - but as someone else pointed out to me that I might have option change the CL. What I did - in the menu of

Configuration / device open CL / [graphics card]

TO

Configuration / device open CL / Auto (experimental)

And voila!

In my case, the graphics card on my iMac is the GeForce GTX 680 MX. After the new setting and the revival of demand, I could finally see my material at high speed.

    Hello

I have a Sony X1000V. I read in other posts that this format is supported, but when I try and put my files in PP that are registered at 720 P 240 FPS.

I get an error saying "Unsupported format or corrupted file. The files play fine and change very much in APA of Sony.

1080 p and 4K work very well in PP, but not 720 p.

I tried import PP CC 8 and 9 and get the same error message.

Here is the information of the Sony spec file:

    720 240 p 100 M

Recorded image: record high speed XAVC S 100 Mbps

    Resolution: 1280 × 720

    Imaging rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

    Reading frame rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

    720 240 p 60 M (FDR-X1000V only)

Recorded image: record high speed XAVC S 60 Mbps

    Resolution: 1280 × 720

    Imaging rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

    Reading frame rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

Is there anything I can do to get these 720 p files to work? I have a lot of files saved in this format.

    Thank you

  • New GoPro camera need help with rate of 240 fps for idle

I'm enjoying the possibilities offered by the new extreme sport GoPro camera and need help when it comes to using different rates in Premiere Pro. The pictures I brought in was shot at 240 fps and are indicated as such in the project Panel. However, when I preview the item in the Source Panel he rereads at normal speed and he has not slowed down. If it was shot at 240 fps so I think that Premiere Pro would play this back to 29.97 FPS and true would be slowed down.

I am a beginner and you have to learn how to treat slow clips that I bring that are supposed to be slowed down.

    TIA,

    Ken

    Rod,

You are not wrong, exactly, but I must respond to some of your statements. Premiere Pro is not what some think to do this. Craig and I had this conversation recently. When it Premiere Pro sees 240 fps on a sequence of 24 frames per second, it gives executives. About 90% of them.

Keep in mind that some people turn it quickly because the action is fast, and they want that expected as fast they can project.

Let's say you have a movie projector that shows 24 fps. No matter what film reel you load into this projector, you see the film at 24 frames per second.

Premiere Pro will change the 240 IPS or 60 frames per second to 24 frames per second by dropping frames. It is not generally what people want if they have bothered to get away with it. Yes, it shows you 24 fps, but by dropping frames, is not playing frames one at a time.

This means that if you shoot at 48 frames per second, you get slowed down when projected at 24 frames per second.

Only if interpret you it or use an effect to slow it down. The effect is not as accurate as the interpreter.

Think of it THAT WAY and find out what you have to do to make your premiere pro version are TREATING your images like it is projected at 24 frames per second.  In other words, no boxes are deleted. No boxes are added. NOTHING moves the way you SHOT IT.  Each image you shot will be used exactly as you he turned.

Once again, that if interpret you it this way.

This is NOT MATH or EFFECTS etc.

Well, if interpret you it this is not mathematics, but if you slow down using a percentage, then it is math, and I do not think that it slows down the effect of which is the right way to do it.

Don't download misled by all unwanted people enter with making it slower or faster time with interpolation.

If you can not Surdemarrage or shoot at a higher rate, interpolation is all you have. But Ken did not have this problem, thank God.

If you don't know exactly which continues with the sequences interpret things adobe has some help specify exactly files.

There's not much to it. If you want to slow down 50% interpret it at 120 frames per second. If you want to slow down 90%, interpret it to 24 fps. Anything in between is up to you.

  • RAW Viewer vs Resolve

I recently shot a short clip of test raw 4K with the F5 and opened in determining both the raw Viewer. Here is a culture of results:

Note the warm side of the right side of the CAP.

Both have been treated in ACES.

I intend to use it at will, but unless this problem is corrected, Raw Viewer is...

My problem with that is the Raw Viewer interface. The horizontal cursors are far too sensitive (too much of too little in a fraction of an inch), and click on the arrow up/down are completely insensitive (e.g., a color and click on temp goes from 3200 to 3201). It is difficult any kind of ranking to say the least.

I hope that this could be addressed at some point? Tangent Wave support would be fabulous!

    See you soon.

I raised this point on CML too... have you checked to see if you were demosaicing at full resolution to solve? I saw this artifact come to half res debayer.

Cannot left click to advance to the next image in the image windows Viewer. I can move forward using the keyboard

I have a folder of photos that I opened to see several thumbnails. I can left click on a picture and it will open full screen. Then I left click on this image and the next should show but nothing happens. I can use the keyboard arrows to move to the next photo, but I can't use the mouse. The left click works for everything I use it for. I've used regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll and he said DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shimgvw.dll succeeded. This does not solve the problem. This isn't a big deal, it just bugs _ on me because I'm a perfectionist. Thank you for your response and any other help would be appreciated.

If you use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer... left click of the photo is
not supposed to promote the image. (some image viewers work this way

  • LR4.3's random to destroy my images raw 5DMkIII - why?

    Everyone knows about this problem?

I recently acquired the 5DMkIII and after I imported the RAW images in LR 4.3RC LR, apparently at random, divide an image into rectangles and color with psychodelic colors.  About 700 images of my latest shoot, it happened only 3 or 4, so far.  But it can occur immediately upon import or on a further look at one/image development.  It seems to happen at the time wherever I click on the thumbnail to view or change the image._DM3188720121126email.jpg

I inserted a sample.  This is an image of a Falcon on a post (the bird is in the center of the image).  In theory, I can you reimport the image of the CF card and hope that it won't happen again (assuming I have not reformatted the card).  Is this a problem with the camera or LR?  He started to perform on the images of Mark III.  I used XT and 40 d 7 d before that without problem.   I would really appreciate any entry on what is happening here.  Thanks for any help!   Dennis

A final follow-up on this issue.  I appreciate the answers that have been generated on this topic.  Because of course, it's a major problem with my particular body of 5DM 3 - I doubt that any photographer will want a body which chooses randomly which images will be destroyed and which will not.  I falsely accused Lightroom of the origin of the problem at first, but I quickly discovered that the problem appeared also in Digital Photo Professional, Canon raw Editor.  If the problem was not LR.   I imported the RAWs on different PC which had installed Lightroom, using different card readers and USB cables directly from the camera.  In all cases, the corrupted images were still present.  I took a series of shots on another CF card and the new problem happened.  I think about 1 of every 100 pictures were corrupted.  I always format my CF card in the camera before use.  So once the second card also showed the problem, I knew it was the camera.  These two cards have been used for a couple of years in two different bodies of 7 d with no problems. They are Sandisk Extreme 32 GB and 16 GB 60 MB/s, UDMA cards.

I must say that Amazon.com has superb customer service.  Even if my camera had a little 30 days maximum return policy, they do not hesitate to order me a new camera with delivery estimated Tuesday.  They also put in place one UPS to come to my house to pick up the defective unit and ship it, free to me.  With the camera being so new (not to mention expensive), I didn't want to not pass by the Canon warranty that I probably would have ended with a device repaired or rehabilitated as opposed to a new.  I guess I shouldn't prejudge in their but it's at their discretion, to choose the way of solving the problem.

At this point, I'm a happy camper.  Maybe some time in the future, this thread will help some other "unlucky" 5DM 3 owner whose unit presents this rare problem.  I was unable to find any mention of what happens online question specific to any other owner of 5DM 3.  If all goes well, there will be none.

  • Optical Aberration correction 7DM 2 does affect the image RAW or just JPEG?

New 7DM 2. If the optical Aberration Correction is activated in the menu of this does affect the RAW image and JPEG files or any size JPEG created? My new camera first stoopid question! Did not answer in the manual!

There are no stupid questions here

Lens corrections will be recognized and applied to JPEG in RAW if you use Canon DPP. If you use Lightroom or any other software other than Canon that they are not recognized.  Lightroom has its own set of Canon lens correction profiles.

  • Image + list view

    Hi all

    I am facing a problem.

I want to show a view of list with an image on the far left with adjacent text to it.

The pictures I get from the server.  I dnt know how to do...

    for example

    --------------

    ! img2.PNG!  Name of Contact

    --------------

    --------------

    ! img3.PNG!  Name of Contact

    --------------

    Any help.

Why do you need examples of code?

    (1) as I said, go read the two sticky threads ('Code of the sample HTTP connection' and 'Connect your BlackBerry') by peter_strange. They have enough examples of code already and are better written than anything I could do.

    (2) this part may be difficult, but the code itself will not help at all. The key here is to design:

    (a) you will need a playback of a queue Thread (for this, I would use vector) and run the queue entries. For 'Application in java blocking queue', for example, and you'll find enough examples of code.

    (b) the Scriptures of the queue contains: sufficient information to assemble the URL of the image. information about the pending arrival of file object so that it is notified by your download lead when the image is finally here - see diagram of the Subscriber; potentially of progress information, local file name (if you use the file as a buffer system), etc.

    (c) have a method in your download lead that creates and submits these entries in the queue. We'll call this method of implementation of your ListField.

    (3) you have answered enough UI issues on this forum to find out how to replace the painting. drawListRow may be difficult for you to implement - it's pretty much the same thing with a few additional parameters.

  • When I open the picture library, then my pictures and scroll to a folder or an image, the view scrolls upward automatically

    I have a Dell Inspiron 580 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

When I open the picture library, then my images and made scroll to a folder or an image I want to view or work with, the animated icon is displayed and then scrolls upward automatically.  This also happens when I open a file; When I scroll down in a folder, I'm automatically referred to the top row of thumbnails.

I tried to use two mouse different and convenience store says that mice work properly.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I suspect some kind of image synchronization software here at work. Disruptions could come from some refreshment paging that completes a cycle of enumeration of images in a folder.

Image utilities 'helper' camera, printer or a third party may be the cause. A review of processes that start automatically when you start the computer would be the first step. While looking into MSCONFIG, startup can provide a preliminary list, the most complete list of programs or services that initiate at startup is AutoRuns from SysInternals.

  • Images Raw camera recording under a shade pink

    Hello

I'm having trouble with the edition of PS CS5 Camera Raw. I use images from a Canon 5 d Mark II & III, and starting this week, my images saved as the first below, with a pinkish tinge. I'll adjust the contrast, exposure, color balance and brightness of the large lots and save, once they are rescued, they look like to the below, and I have to adjust each setting on every image again. What is a user error? I used the same program, the same way for 3 + years now, and this is the first time that I had a problem. Now, when I save the pictures on my desk, they are fine (2nd image), but how irritating to have to have all of these images saved on your desktop and having to move again. Or do I need to ditch Camera Raw and start using a different program/process? Help, please!

This looks like a simple matter of white balance. You must have some preset (accidentally) applied.

If it isn't, you need to explain your procedure much more in detail.
