XAVC S 720 p @240 FPS and first CC 8 & 9 question

Hello

I have a Sony X1000V. I read in other posts that this format is supported, but when I try and put my files in PP that are registered at 720 P 240 FPS.

I get an error saying "Unsupported format or corrupted file. The files play fine and change very much in APA of Sony.

1080 p and 4K work very well in PP, but not 720 p.

I tried import PP CC 8 and 9 and get the same error message.

Here is the information of the Sony spec file:

720 240 p 100 M

Recorded image: record high speed XAVC S 100 Mbps

Resolution: 1280 × 720

Imaging rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

Reading frame rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

720 240 p 60 M (FDR-X1000V only)

Recorded image: record high speed XAVC S 60 Mbps

Resolution: 1280 × 720

Imaging rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

Reading frame rate * 1: 240 p/200 p

Is there anything I can do to get these 720 p files to work? I have a lot of files saved in this format.

Thank you

Thank you for reporting this issue with an example file and the details. I can't promise anything, but I wanted you to know that it is being investigated.

  • New GoPro camera need help with rate of 240 fps for idle

I'm enjoying the possibilities offered by the new extreme sport GoPro camera and need help when it comes to using different rates in Premiere Pro. The pictures I brought in was shot at 240 fps and are indicated as such in the project Panel. However, when I preview the item in the Source Panel he rereads at normal speed and he has not slowed down. If it was shot at 240 fps so I think that Premiere Pro would play this back to 29.97 FPS and true would be slowed down.

I am a beginner and you have to learn how to treat slow clips that I bring that are supposed to be slowed down.

    TIA,

    Ken

    Rod,

You are not wrong, exactly, but I must respond to some of your statements. Premiere Pro is not what some think to do this. Craig and I had this conversation recently. When it Premiere Pro sees 240 fps on a sequence of 24 frames per second, it gives executives. About 90% of them.

Keep in mind that some people turn it quickly because the action is fast, and they want that expected as fast they can project.

Let's say you have a movie projector that shows 24 fps. No matter what film reel you load into this projector, you see the film at 24 frames per second.

Premiere Pro will change the 240 IPS or 60 frames per second to 24 frames per second by dropping frames. It is not generally what people want if they have bothered to get away with it. Yes, it shows you 24 fps, but by dropping frames, is not playing frames one at a time.

This means that if you shoot at 48 frames per second, you get slowed down when projected at 24 frames per second.

Only if interpret you it or use an effect to slow it down. The effect is not as accurate as the interpreter.

Think of it THAT WAY and find out what you have to do to make your premiere pro version are TREATING your images like it is projected at 24 frames per second.  In other words, no boxes are deleted. No boxes are added. NOTHING moves the way you SHOT IT.  Each image you shot will be used exactly as you he turned.

Once again, that if interpret you it this way.

This is NOT MATH or EFFECTS etc.

Well, if interpret you it this is not mathematics, but if you slow down using a percentage, then it is math, and I do not think that it slows down the effect of which is the right way to do it.

Don't download misled by all unwanted people enter with making it slower or faster time with interpolation.

If you can not Surdemarrage or shoot at a higher rate, interpolation is all you have. But Ken did not have this problem, thank God.

If you don't know exactly which continues with the sequences interpret things adobe has some help specify exactly files.

There's not much to it. If you want to slow down 50% interpret it at 120 frames per second. If you want to slow down 90%, interpret it to 24 fps. Anything in between is up to you.

  • 100 GB compressed into one DVD (Source JPEGs and 720 p 60 FPS)

Is it possible to compress 100 GB 720 p 60 fps (some the vidoes where 1080 p) down to a standard single face DVD?  I don't care if the quality is bad, I just need to compress it down.  How do I do that? Is this possible? There are also a few JPEG images in there too.

    Thank you!

If I'm missing something very important, please clarify for me.

All you're missing is what's the point of the student assignment!

The assumption is that the material has not changed, they put their raw images in yet; hundreds of clips.

The point that do you that I haven't done earlier is that the size of the assets (100 GB) is not really relevant, is the length of the sequence; but we do not know how the JPEG images are processed on time either.

I also forgot to mention that still has a limit of 99 timelines and 99 chapters by chronology earlier.  That could come into play here...

  • F5 @ 240 fps - 'no image' RAW Viewer?

    Hello

I pull the material with the F5 and the FPF R5 @120 and @240 FIRST.

Images of 240 fps was going well when he plays the recorder.

But when I try to do with the RAW Viewer, I did no thumbnail image (except the "No Image" message) and reading Viewer shows only a white screen. I see that all the data and metadata is and other clips @120 fps I can see and play fine. I checked it at new playng the recorder back - no problem.

Any idea what I might be missing?

    Thank you!

Problem solved! Yes, I didi have the latest version of the viewer of BRUTES - and Resolve alos showed me only a black frame - but as someone else pointed out to me that I might have option change the CL. What I did - in the menu of

Configuration / device open CL / [graphics card]

    TO

Configuration / device open CL / Auto (experimental)

    And voila!

In my case, the graphics card on my iMac is the GeForce GTX 680 MX. After the new setting and the revival of demand, I could finally see my material at high speed.

  • How to convert 1080i 25 fps in 720 p 50 fps

Hello. Most of my images is 720 p 50 fps. However, a small part of the work is 1080i 25 fps. I was thinking about converting the 1080i in media images encode (h.264) 720 p 50 fps. Just so that I can import all of the images in the same timeline. I thought that I would do that most of the video looks like? Is there a better way to do this?

There is no need to transcode the 1080 first images. You can simply add it to the sequence of 720. Right click on the clips in 1080 in the timeline, and then select the size of the image - or, if you have the current version, which is 7.2.2 the new set to the size of the image option.

  • Video looks Blocky, fuzzy, Fuzzy in AE (1280 X 720 29.97 FPS)

Im trying to make a montage of gameplay that I recorded to play me PS3 files being .m2ts, im using Adobe first Pro CS5.5 to cut the video in clips so I could then export it in AE (After Effects).

So it can make esier to work with other to the edge of the video in After Effects organized in this way I have all my clips as I want.

How to make im passing export-> media-> with these settings Format: QuickTime Video Codec: Photo - JPEG quality: 100

Now, I opened the rendering. File MOV with Windows Media Player and everything seems impeccable video quality has not disappeared.

So then comes the AE part now my clips are ready to be mastered and added effects so I'm going in-> file-> import and choose my. MOV file I exported from Premiere Pro

But for some reason any my video looks Blocky, fuzzy, Fuzzy real of low quality which is not what I want I put it on full and yet it is horrible.

It seems that AE has trouble opening the video correctly or something in the settings is wrong, but from my point of view the composition is everything that of clips: 1280 X 720 29.97 fps

Here is the picture of how my video looks on After Effects, as you can see the text is strange looking and in the settings, you can see that I have it on 100% and full

    videoscrewed.png

This next picture below is what it looks like on my Windows Media Player, you can see that everything seems nicer

    videogood.jpg

This image is now the parameters that arise on AE so that you can see my video has the right settings

    videosettings.jpg

If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it I know there must be a solution out there!

    Thanks in advance

AE shows only one field at a time, reduce the vertical resolution. Turn off use of field in the interpretation of the images, if you want to only display full resolution.

  • Film project of true 24 fps of first to still - flickering issues

    Hi all
I hope someone can help me with this issue, because I can't find anything on the internet with a clear explanation.  Whenever someone talks about 24 p on the forums, it seems that mean 23.98... so I can't find something that applies to this situation... even if it is without doubt very widespread in the industry.

I recently completed a short film, 35mm, and we shot it at true 24 fps... I now have the final quicktime 24 p (TRUE 24.00 fps), and I need to put it on a DVD using Encore CS5.  I put the quicktime HD uncompressed 1920 x 1080 in the first in a sequence with real 24.00 fps.  Then I used Adobe Dynamic Link to import the sequence in a project in Encore DVD.  When I transcode 23.98 project... I get a bad glow.  The video is nice and smooth on Blu - ray because it is true 24 p of capabilities... but how do I get a smooth playback on a DVD?  I know it's possible because every hollywood film, which never turned 24 actually looks great on DVD.

Is anyone out there familiar with the Film 24 p workflow?  The video world 23.98 does not seem to apply here.

    Thank you

    My workflow are:

    1. create a model of 720 x 480, BY 1.2121, 23.976 fps

    2. place a video clip on the timeline and contain the video on the screen by adjusting the values of "scale".

    3. composition-> add to display the queue

    4. in the output Modules, choose Mpeg-2-DVD and click on the button 'Options of Format'

    5. in the settings of export Mpeg - 2 DVD, specify, quality: 5, TV Standard: NTSC Frame Rate: 23.976, field order: Progressive, BY: Widescreen (16:9), the Bitrate settings: I'll go for VBR, 2 pass, Minimum: 1.5, target: 4, Maximum bitrate: 9

    6. make and import the file in again to create a DVD of 23.976 fps without any re-transcoding.

M/N frames?  What would be the effect on the video if I change these numbers?

Structure GOP (Group of photo) is mentioned by M and N.

The GOP is a group of successive images in a video stream encoded. Each coded video stream consists of successive GOPs.

M indicates the distance between two images of anchor (I or P). And N indicates the distance between two full images (i-frames).

    For example M = 3, N = 12, the GOP structure is IBBPBBPBBPBB.

  • Problem of proportions with consumer camera and first elements 11

Hello all - I'm Steve. I'm new here. I always do photography on a pro, digital and analog level, but I'm an absolute with video model... but then, I don't want to not do much, just in a rudimentary way cut some family videos, download, etc.

However, I can't first elements 11 out of my clips self-portrait in a correct aspect ratio.

My camera is a consumer-model Canon Legria FS200. I shoot in a resolution of the camera calls XP. The device says there are 16:9, the monitor of the camera shows them as 16:9 and when I use the software (called Pixela Image Mixer) provided with the camera to import clips on the disc, I get mpg files that says Windows Explorer (7) are 720 x 576 pixels, and that VLC player display correctly as screen 16:9 without me having to change its display settings.

However, at the time where I have import into Premiere Elements, they appear horizontally in a hurry, and I can't go out in any other way, with or without changing them in first.

I tried to use the recipe given here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/5987538#5987538 , (replacing only NTSC PAL because I'm in Germany), namely, defining the predefined together project manually to PAL/Hard Disk etc. / big screen 48 kHz and check strength parameters of the program. But no matter, first displays the video in compressed form horizontally, with large black bars on the right and left.

On the side of exports, affecting the output PAL DVD widescreen and the format of the pixels in the output widescreen settings do not help, either. Nor did I can manually force VLC player to view the correct aspect ratio. BTW, audio is perfect throughout.

It is on that I can see myself get without help. Someone at - it an idea?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Steve, the Germany

Interpreter all the clips as big screen then onto the timeline.

Can we assume that your 1080 p 30 is an AVCHD.mp4 file or other?

You manually or automatically, the project should define the project preset

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1080 30 p @29.97

(If your rate is really 30 instead of 29.97, then go with 1080 p 30 instead of DLSR 1080 p 30 @29.97 DSLR)

See the following link to set the preset manually project

    For your exports

    Publish + share

  • Why is there a difference in length between 24 fps and fps 23 976 timelines with the same clip?

I was working on a project of 23 976 fps and I tried to import a short animated sequence of 44 TIFFs in my scenario in my first CS5.

I imported the sequence, interpreting the film at 23 976 fps (such as it was made in AE) to check before sending it to a finished House.

First issue. Even if I set the framerate 23 976, first CS5, indicates me 23.98 on interpreting window film. I assumed it as a rounded number.

When I drag the attachment to my 23 976 sequence, the clip shows 43 (!) length of frames on the info panel. It lacks an image. The sequence in the original video, it really lacks a framework.

I decided to do a test. And placed the same clip, interpreted the same way on a sequence of 24 frames per second, and the clip shows as length of 44 executives on the info panel.

How can we, same clip shows the different quantity of frames (I don't mean time, but just raw images), on different times? It makes no sense at all! If my sequence has 44 frames, it should show in the form of 44 independent frames of the scenario that I imported it. Am I entitled?

Just for test, I ve imported from the same sequence on AE, and in it shows as 44 frames on a timeline 23 976. How can I trust to first frame interpret in this way?

Just one thing. The scene used as basis for the animation of the AE, has 44 executives, and it was measured and cut in a 30s film on the same first which is having this weird behavior.

Can someone explain to me what Just happened? It s driving me crazy!

    Thanks in advance

    Mauricio Mendes

Before you import the sequence of images, go to Edit > Preferences > media... and together the basis of split time at 23.976.

  • Installation and first run of the FF, I get a box that obviously requires a response, but it contains no words, and does not occur when you click it.

Installation and first run of the FF, I get a collection box that is displayed for about 5 seconds after the program loads and displays the first screen. It obviously requires a response, but it contains no words. The box doesn't cause any Word show either. the screen takes over and no other button cannot be clicked: I have a hardware failure on FF.

Empty the gray bar, box, box white, question mark?

This irritating box was related to an add-on for AOL. In order to remove the extension of the problem, you will probably need to start Firefox in Safe Mode so that it does not work.

You need to close Firefox anyway, you can, for example:

    • ALT + F4
    • Right click of its mosaic on the taskbar > close all windows
    • (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) Task Manager

To start Firefox in Safe Mode, hold down the SHIFT key while double-clicking the shortcut.

A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

Then you can go to the Add-ons page using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right, locate AOL.

    A little luck?

    Hello, I have this problem.
Recently, I have noticed that when I try to change the quality of the video by default 360 p to whatever, the quality will increase to 240 p and the video wont run. There will be a black screen.
I tried to reset the browser and it has not fixed my problem.
I tried the same video in internet explore and quality change worked normally.

    How would I fix this?
