• I have Lightroom CC. I need to take collections of 3 different catalogs and combine in a slide show.

  It won't let me combine collections of different catalogs, or export each of the 3 collections in a new catalog.

  40 000 images can be in a catalog in Lightroom.  There are people who have 100, in thousands of images in a single catalog.   The way to do is to "Export as Catalog" three different temporary files need to each main catalog catalogs.  Then 'Import as Catalog' two of these 3 temporary catalogs in the catalog remains temporary for your slide show.  You ran into the main reason to have a catalog.

• Back button on slide show works not properly?

  I am currently working in Flash Professional CS6 using a sheet AS3 thing... I'm incredibly new to Flash, and I met a google problem could not solve.

  So, the goal was to tween transparency each photo that will loop continuously. I wanted to also add, back, pause and play buttons that appears when you move the scene. Well, I have everything works except the back button.

  For some reason any to my insue, whenever you hit the back button a few times (more than twice or you click the next button and then the back button), he is not back. It's as if the button is not reload on the appropriate framework. Strange for me.

  The next button seems to work perfectly, however. So why just the back button? I do not know!

  I have my flash project implemented in the following way (maybe it's not the most effective way, but I couldn't find another way to do it; I hope this makes sense):

  Each photo is in its own layer. Each layer is interpolated transparency. The layers are staggered in order to blend into one another.

  I have two layers of action.

  The first layer of action has my channel playback, pause, and alpha. This key frame encompasses the full slideshow. Here is the code:

  My second layer action has my buttons next and return to them. I have a new image of action relative to the opening of each interpolated image. Here is the code for one of keyframes (Note: the only thing that changes are the numbers for each key frame):

  You do the same thing you've been originally... creating several headphones for the button.  You just need the functions defined once in the first picture where the keys begins.  This layer actions must extend to the entire length of the timeline so that the variables and functions are available throughout.

  Instances of the button can increase the full length of the scenario without the need to have more than one keyframe for them.

• Adding PayPal button for slide show

  Hello world!

  I did a simple Web site for my wife, who is an artist. I made pages represent the portfolio pages, so that each page is a different selection of images and I used the miniature slideshow widget to make pages with. So far so good.

  Now, however, we want to add the ability for viewers to buy photos out of the site. I tried dragging a Pay - pal button off the coast of the 'Social' in the library of Widgets section and it works, except that it does not change its details when another image is selected. In other words, I put in place for the image one, but when I click on the thumbnail of the image two, the Pay - pal button does not change to reflect the details of the new image. Does anyone know if it is possible to do?

  I tried to 'Place' button in the text of captions, but I can't do it, it doesn't seem to work, he seems to expect a picture only.

  Please can someone tell if its possible to do - if so, how?

  Hi Brian,.

  If you want to place an individual Paypal Button for each image then I suggest you use the ToolTip for the same Composition. You would need it behaves like a slideshow in the customization options.

  You can place an individual Paypal Button in each target with the picture and you can convert triggers to thumbnails by changing its properties.

  I see some problems using with the following buttons on question slides provided with Adobe Captivate 6.0, and send it.

     1. Problem 1: I could create a custom button 'Next', but I can't see any sort of hook in the submission process to trigger it to be enabled / disabled.
     2. Issues 2 and 4: I could create a custom of 'Submit' button but I don't see what measures to trigger to submit the quiz question.
     3. Problem 3: I do not see boxes click to remove or settings to change, to stop the behavior "click anywhere.
     4. Problem 5: I worked around this by creating my own back for Question 1 only button and hide when they review the quiz.

  Any suggestion would be great!

  Thanks for the links to your blog, as always very useful!

  I understand the hesitation when seeing convoluted questions on this forum, but I encourage you and others to try to remedy. Otherwise, the forum is pretty useless if it only meets the "simple" questions I tried to unzip the problem so that the expected and actual results were clear.

  I have now overcome problems 1, 2, 3 and 4 as follows:

  • Make the button submit transparent and placed a SmartShape resembling to the button send behind it.
  • Removed the success message, so that the action on the success is called immediately by clicking on Submit
  • Call a tip for the successful event Action. This action:
    • Displays the revision message (success)
    • Hide the submit button
    • Jumps to the next slide and then return to the current slide (this ensures that the buttons next and previous are enabled correctly)
    • Calls a Javascript function to pause the slide.
  • Apply the same to all my slides in question... * sigh *.

  I had already worked around 5 problem according to my original post.

  Again, I want to express some frustration that there are so many workarounds to get training to watch 100%. For example, in one of your tutorials there is a transparent button and once I knew how the workaround has been applied, I put my mouse over it the space where the button was and saw the hand icon. While if you think that users don't notice, I assure you that when the courses are distributed to a few hundred people these things don't go unnoticed! The effort to build workarounds is worsened by having restrictions on question slides that do not apply to other slides, which for example not being able to add a button and having to use a SmartShape (which does not reuse the button styles), etc. That means trying several solutions workaround until you can find one where all the workaround steps are feasible and you can get a perfect result.

  In any case, I'll mark this message as answered and call it a day (I have another question about styling SmartShapes used as buttons but post it separately) =)

• Button that plays a slide show

  I received an independent slideshow (MSO) who is stopped by default.

  Separately, I got a button triggering an action list. Among them, I wanted this button to play my slide show to the end (not just a go at a particular State).

  Is this possible?

  I tried to do the same thing, but it is not possible that the button control panel does not allow to control the slide show's settings. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Turn the "Tap to play/pause" function and write / illustrate the slideshow can be played / break.
  2. Use a MSO saying "tap to play", the second State is invisible and using the 'slide show' settings to play the MSO finishing on the last State. (Hope that makes sense).
  3. Include a navigation in the slideshow with the left/right arrows to scroll
  4. Add a generic icon 'play' in the first State of the slide show, and then set the slide show "Stop to the last Image.

• exporting/sharing slide show by Photos of iOS

  This morning, I took a series of photos on my new iPad Pro 9.7 ". When we returned, I looked at them and idly clicked on 'slide show', I had never used before. I found only one) you can choose from different themes with built in music and b) hook it upward at the TV and watch it there. All very cool.

  I tried to find a way to save/export the slide show exactly as it was. Starting a project in iMovie did not and I do not have anything cloud related, so it's on. I tried each option/button I could find, but could not understand if there is a way to export/drop to my iMac. I am able to send the photos - but it's not what I'm wanting to do so; Slideshow theme I was using was really cool and it's how I would like to export (as one/loan from finished slide show).

  FWIW, couldn't find anything directly relevant in the user guide.

  Anyone with ideas? If someone thinks it would be better addressed in the forum iPad (but there is no subcategory of Photos), please moved it.

  As far as I know, there is no way to export a slide show of Photos iOS.

  He was able in iPhoto iOS. We can share a slide show on a Web page and it fold online, but the creative sharing - books, slideshow options, newspapers Miss pictures iOS.

  Not even iCloud library transfers slideshows between devices.

  You could try only to recreate the slide show by Photos of the tor on your Mac.

• Slide show that works on iPad?

  I use Indesign CS6 and have created a slide show by creating buttons and making real images of slide buttons. I then export to interactive pdf.

  The slideshow works perfectly on a desktop computer, but not at all on iOS on iPad. Some pdf readers are not displayed even buttons and Adobe Reader displays the buttons and slide, but when you click them, nothing happens.

  States of multi objects do not work on a PDF file and the work of flash does not work on iPad.

  Are there left solutions?

  Are you sure you want to send this interactive document as an attacment? A lot of people hate the attachments these days... And you, the options are limited if you want the whole package within a single file. Only supports PDF and Flash formats and two of them are really bad choices on the mobile world.

  If I were you, I translated my doc indd to HTML5, uploaded to the server as a web - app and share the link to it on my breath of e-mail rather than attach anything.

  Something like this:

  You can open this link with the computer or iPad... which made dummy document in InDesign (it took maybe 3 minutes from scratch to the server)

  If you use the right tools, you can keep videos, links, ESM, etc you have placed in InDesign.

• Slide show under the menu bar, help please

  I need help from members of the community awesome Adobe once again, good news, is that I actually have an example to show this time to make it easier to answer. I recently started a new page for the company I work with, and there is a change in the menu bar and a slide show I've wanted to do for a long time, maybe even the Twitter ticker bar if somebody wants to cover in this discussion.

  The menu bar, as you can see, the Red thing moving across the top of the screen with the tabs menu on it as home, about us, ect. ect. For some reason, that he travels out of the page, as I planned to do, he stops just short and you can see the background of the page to the left and to the right of the bar, which is the smallest issue that I encounter here.

  The biggest problem with the menu bar I want difficulty is that logo Showcase D & B push the slide downwards, and while that seems not necessarily bad, I would like to again for the slide show to sit under the logo with the logo shining on the top of the slide show.

  Finally, something small and optional to hit for anyone who wants to solve, y at - there a way for me to have the Ticker Twitter bar to the top at the top of the site to sit ON top of the logo d & b and against the Red menu bar? I would like for the Twitter's Ticker bar to look like it is part of the bar menu if possible.

  Which should push the slide show for you under the logo.

  Your page margins are not reset to 0 - that is why you see to the left and to the right area.

  Line 58 of style.css, body - add this:

  margin: 0;

  padding: 0;

  This will reset your margin of body and padding to 0. For anything that requires filling, you can define a substitution within its own class or id.

  For Twitter bar, if you push closer to the menu, what will you do on your trip button "hide"?

• Slide show does not (is empty)

  Created a simple slideshow with about 8 images and it works fine in the preview and also dreamweaver but when uploaded the slideshow does not at all just two buttons left and right?

  I'll add 'publish' site for a temp Adobe BC with Muse and then test the slide show... This helps eveyone see question and is free. easy to do.

• Elements 8 slide show Help Needed

  Hello, I have 8 items and while creating a slideshow pictures disappear or something else happens because when I preview the it, all I get is a black screen.

  I tried smaller images, adding sound, then save the preview, even when I export or share the saved result is nothing more than a black screen, no pictures. I hear the music, I added, but not photos. Even if I add a blank slide and add text, nothing. I am puzzled and frustrated. I followed the video tutorial online exactly and still no luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very happy. I had the software for about a year and a half and never used the slide show to date part.

  Hoping someone may have encountered this problem before.

  Vista 64 bit sp2, but adobe running in 32-bit

  First suggestion-

  I experienced this kind of problem with the black screen in preview and it was caused by the absence of authorization.  I'm running Vista and I got around the problem by starting PSE using run as administrator

  -in other words instead of left-clicking on the icon of the PSE on the desktop.

  -I just clicked on the icon of the PSE Bureau and chose "Run as Administrator" in the right click menu

  The process described above has been necessary despite the fact that my Windows username had authority of the administrator.

  There is a theory among many people that can be caused by uninstalling an older version of the EP after that you installed PSE 8. However, I doubt that it is absolutely the only reason.

  Second suggestion-

  If my first suggestion does not solve your problem, then I think that the second most likely cause is an issue or an incompatibility with the driver for your video card. Your Nvidia gtx580 is a powerful video card - then maybe there is one incompatibility with another component on your system. How recently have you updated the driver for your video card?

  -Have you ever been able to do a preview of the slide show PSE?

  -Have already been able to reproduce a slide show WMV file output?

  If it's one of your first alide shows with PSE, I suggest you post also how you plan to display your slide show done - for example - will be burn you to a DVD? You also Premiere Elements?

  Menu bar (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, help)

  Press Alt V T M (CTRL + V T M on Mac) on your keyboard. This should restore the menu bar (Firefox 3.6)

  Other toolbars

  View | Toolbars | Select the desired toolbar

  Other measures to try

  Try to restore the default value set by going to display. Toolbars | Customize | Restore the default set. This will put the toolbars in the default slot

  Safe mode

  You may need to reset toolbars and controls through Firefox in Safe Mode troubleshooting questions
  Make sure that completely close Firefox first. When you get to the Safe Mode window, select controls and then make changes and restart and reset toolbars.

• Slide show: no skip option more?

  I am a wedding photographer and want to show my photographs using the slideshow function. The amount of pictures is sometimes more than 400 and Lightroom 4A

  a 'skip' option so that not all photos need to be "prepared" first before to start the slide show (sorry... I'm Dutch and I hope make me understand). This option is over now and it takes one hour before the show actually starts.

  Of course, this is not what I want... Am I missing something somewhere? Can anyone help?

  Miss me it too much!  This is a big drawback of LR 5.x - for me I find it almost as fast to export to JPEG and then display the slide show using photomechanical.
