Failed the Installation Photoshop cs6

A year ago I bought an education version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 extended, installed and it worked fine. However, about 6 months ago my laptop crashed and I, of course lost everything. I tried to reinstall CS6 and received the following error message:

Failed installation. Inability to real audit of Adobe software. The product you want to install is not a genuine Adobe software and appears to be counterfeit. Please report a piracy or contact customer support for assistance.

I have not encountered this error before, and don't understand why I get it now. As I said it worked fine before without any problem to install at all. I paid for the copy, I have the code and numbers for verification of product that accepts the facility. I am quite frustrated at this point I've tried several times to install. Is there something I'm supposed to do to re - install or is there a problem with the software itself, and if so how can I solve this?

Welcome to the Adobe community.

I would ask you to kindly check the Date & time of your system and see if it is correct or not. If this is correct, please try and download the software from www.prodesigntools.com and see if it works fine for you.

Please let us know if the steps mentioned above has helped you or not.

See you soon,.
