  Did try you a battery pull restarts, otherwise do as this deletion wait battery for a min. and then reinsert it back, to see if your device stops to restart itself. If the problem continues then try to start your machine in the Safe Mode, in safe mode uninstall this particular application of the options > device > application > remove this application. Once removed Reboot your phone by removing the battery while your unit is powered. See if the problem resolves after rebbot.

  For all that interested-, I managed to get the installed DM.  I took a hack and slash approach in my registry.  I saved a copy (just in case) and I proceeded to remove all references to ResearchInMotion, RIM and Pumatech.  I went way beyond the entries mentioned in clean used uninstall documentation.  This seems to have solved my problem.
