Failed to install CS3 on Windows 10!

I'm trying to install CS3 on my laptop, it has been used before on another laptop with success. I disabled on the old laptop before uninstalling, but I can't further to install shared components!

I have tried almost everything, the CS5 cleaner tool tries to install in compatibility mode. Someone has any suggestions, or is it simply not compatible?

I doubt very seriously that a program too OLD will work with Win10

An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others

  • Windows 8.1 fails to install in the windows store.

I go to Windows store once a week and update fails to install every time.

    Hello

There have been similar problems happening when you use a cell phone type of internet connection.

    Maybe even fixed line...

One of the workarounds I've read is to start downloading from another connection, pause the download bit after it starts and then continue with the original connection, if desired.

He has also had similar problems with 3rd party security programs. If you have one, turn it off...

In some cases the program must actually be deleted with a removal tool, not just uninstalled...

Are you in any kind of error message?

  • install cs3 on windows 10?

How do you install indesign cs3 in windows 10? I already installed in windows 7 and thereafter upgrades to windows 10. CS3 ran very well for two months and then stopped. I tried to trouble shoot and various compatibility settings. Tried to reinstall from the original cd. Any help?

"Don't know what that 'cs3 not supported on windows 10' MEANS." 10 windows software does not support cs3 or cs3 is not supported by adobe? "A very good point, as the word 'support' is advanced around mean different things.

1 = help provide fixes for if it does not work. Not supported. Only CC2015 will be provided, except that bugs CS6 and later will security patches.

    2. support = will try to help with. No, Adobe will not help more. It is since LONG the "end of life".

    3. support = has been designed to work with. Of course not, it was over long before Windows 10.

4 support = tested against. No, essentially due to the Adobe above him did not all tests.

    5. support = manages to work with. It is the most difficult. There may be various reasons why this does not work, and these are not likely to be fully understood by the community of users and because of the foregoing, Adobe who might know that say no more. If it works fine. If not, our ability to help is limited. If you manage to solve anything, please let us know, we're going to support community.

    6. support = people in the community as all try to help. Of course, we do, but we have no knowledge; only results people share with us. Very few of us will have first-hand experience trying to run these old stuff on the new systems.

  • I must first install CS3 on Windows 7 64 bit before installing CS5 Upgrade?

I am replacing a graphic designer Windows Vista laptop with a desktop Dell Precision T5500 computer.  Should I Uninstall CS3 from the laptop and the serial number of decommissioned?  Then I have to install CS3 on the new desktop before installing CS5 upgrade?  I was told that I had to put the installation out of service, but I don't remember having to do with the other facilities.  Thanks in advance!

Certainly, you should disable all software before uninstalling. But do not install CS3-CS5. Just having the serial number handy for checking. That said, according to the needs of the user, you can let CS3 available.

  • Problems installing CS3 on Windows 10

I got CS3 installed on my PC and decided to upgrade to Windows 10. The update went without problems and my Creative Suite CS worked perfectly for several months until the other day, when I have received a message on my driver's license does not. I tried several solutions suggested for me nothing works and finally decided to uninstall applications and reinstall them. The relocation went well until the end, when the installer said that "some problems" had been raised during the installation. Problems can be summed up that none of the applications had to be installed. I tried again half a dozen to reinstall without success. There was an indication of the problems during the process, nor any explanation of why it was not possible to install. What could be the reason?

The only other suggestion is to run the CC cleanup tool after uninstalling. This cleans the registry and nothing behind.

Choose your application named in the list in the CC cleaning tool. Then re-boot your computer and try a new installation.

Use the cleaning of creative cloud tool to resolve installation problems

  • Failed to install CS3 on the new laptop

I recently bought a new Dell laptop to replace the old. For some reason, my CS3 will not install on the new computer. There was no window message indicating a problem. So, what'S the problem?

You probably need to install using a compatibility mode, and it is always possible CS3 is too old to be compatible with your new operating system, whatever it is.

  • Failed to install (restore) on Windows 2008

I try to install RoboHelp 7 on a new system Windows Server 2008 64 - bit (very similar to Vista) who has never had any Adobe product is installed. Still, the installation fails and cancels all changes to the system. The files are created in the default installation directory (C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 7), then they are automatically deleted when the installation program fails. I tried to install several times, rebooted the machine, disabled UAC, run the installer as administrator and tried other ideas I've seen on these forums, but nothing works. I have exactly the same problem with Adobe Captivate 3, but not with other non-Adobe programs I've tried. The exact message in the InstallShield Wizard is, "the wizard was interrupted before Adobe RoboHelp 7 could be completely installed." Your system has not changed. To complete installation at another time, please run Setup again. »

Thanks for the replies. I managed to solve the installation problem actually two things:

I went to where RoboHelp was unpack the installation files (7\RoboHelp C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adobe RoboHelp) and set all the EXEs to run in Windows XP compatibility mode.

I opened a command prompt in this directory and run the installer of RoboHelp directly without user intervention: "msiexec /i"Adobe RoboHelp 7.msi"/ passive." This installed RoboHelp using the default options.

It is apparently a problem with InstallShield on Vista which was experienced by many software manufacturers. I found the solution from Symantec for this page: http://tinyurl.com/3g2bl4

  • Office Jet 7110 fails to install correctly under windows 7. is there a resolution?

The printer appears as windows and unknown device indicates that the device does not work correctly. HP says that the printer is not available for download (Windows 7 64-bit), but the supplied driver will work.  Tried to remove the device, restart the PC and try again with the same results.

    Hello hegfla

Try the following steps to install the printer. I noticed that there are two variants of the Officejet 7100 Series driver (HP) and the other (Microsoft). If does not work, try the other. Let me know what happens.

    1. open devices and printer
    2. click on add a printer
    3. click Add a local printer
    4. from the existing use select option USB port (or spend USB001 of IP address and then enter the IP address), and then click Next
    5. click the button of Windows Update to get all the support window 7 drivers updated
    6. once the update is complete. Click HP from the left menu, then select the Officejet 7100 Series in the right menu, and then click Next.
    7. follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation.
