I must first install CS3 on Windows 7 64 bit before installing CS5 Upgrade?

I am replacing a graphic designer Windows Vista laptop with a desktop Dell Precision T5500 computer.  Should I Uninstall CS3 from the laptop and the serial number of decommissioned?  Then I have to install CS3 on the new desktop before installing CS5 upgrade?  I was told that I had to put the installation out of service, but I don't remember having to do with the other facilities.  Thanks in advance!

Certainly, you should disable all software before uninstalling. But do not install CS3-CS5. Just having the serial number handy for checking. That said, according to the needs of the user, you can let CS3 available.

I just bought a Windows computer running Windows 8, and I want to install it on CS 5. But I CS 5 is an upgrade, so it will not install I did not already have CS2 (my previous version) on the computer, and CS2 installs on Windows 8. What should I do?

I don't have CS2 (my previous version) already on the computer,

If CS5 upgrade Setup cannot find an eligible earlier version installed then it will prompt you to enter the serial number CS2 instead.

In this case, all you have to do is enter your serial number CS4 only when prompted (to show that you qualify installed upgrading CS5 on a computer with no previous version) and the CS5 will continue to the installer.

  • Operating system. We have first Pro CS6 and Windows 7 32 bit. It will not be installed

    Dell laptop Latitude 6420

    Windows 7 Professional

    8 GB Ram

A user in PR must use Adobe first Pro CS6. However, when we tried to install the program is grayed out and displays a warning icon. If I hover over there is a message that says that he prefers the 64-bit. Rather not say will not work in my opinion. However it will not be installed.

I read that first Pro is 64-bit on another web site. Is this true? There must be a solution.

On the Adobe site, I saw that the installation of CS4 first was the work around, but you must purchase a license key. We have already purchased the Premier Pro and have no money in the budget to buy an old product when it should work.

Help, please. I'm under a lot of pressure to solve this problem

    James

Premiere Pro CS6 is a 64-bit software and will only install on a 64-bit computer. There is no way around that.

I tried to understand this for 2 days now! It was working fine & then one day decided not to work, you know he has decided to not work after I upgraded to IE9... all help would be greatly appreciated: o)

    Hello

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    2. it happens that on the Hotmail Web site?

Method 1: Try to play any other Silverlight video on another site and see if it happens here as well.

Method 2: Select the Silverlight module and see if that helps.

    See the following steps:

    a. start Internet Explorer and click the Tools icon and then click on Internet Options

    b. click programs , and then click the Manage Add-ons button

    c. from the Show drop-down list selection, select run without permissions

    d. ensure that Microsoft Silverlight module is enabled.

    e. If disabled, right click and enable it.

    f. click on close to close the window.

  • Impossible to install PS CS3 on Windows 7 64-bit

I have the 64 bit version of Windows 7.   I, apparently, properly installed PS but when I click on the icon to open it I get the logon screen, but no splash screen, and that's it.  Finally, I get a message that the PS does not.  When I 'X' out of PS I get a screen saying that it will look for a solution, and then close the Psalm nothing happens except that the PS does not close.  I tried a repair of the PS installation.  I have MS Win 7 Professional 64 bit installed, CPU AMD Phenom II X and 8 GB of RAM, hard disk of 2 terabytes.  Thank you.

I have searched for an answer but have not found anything close to this.

I ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor before you install Windows 7 (I already had Windows XP Home Edition) and the only problem detected Advisor was a potential problem with Roxio Creator 2009.  Obviously, this is a new installation of Windows 7, because it is not possible to make a place in upgrade from XP to Windows 7.  Thank you.

    Ron

Call Adobe tell them the problem, they will give you an activation code.
