Failed to install (restore) on Windows 2008
I try to install RoboHelp 7 on a new system Windows Server 2008 64 - bit (very similar to Vista) who has never had any Adobe product is installed. Still, the installation fails and cancels all changes to the system. The files are created in the default installation directory (C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 7), then they are automatically deleted when the installation program fails. I tried to install several times, rebooted the machine, disabled UAC, run the installer as administrator and tried other ideas I've seen on these forums, but nothing works. I have exactly the same problem with Adobe Captivate 3, but not with other non-Adobe programs I've tried. The exact message in the InstallShield Wizard is, "the wizard was interrupted before Adobe RoboHelp 7 could be completely installed." Your system has not changed. To complete installation at another time, please run Setup again. »Thanks for the replies. I managed to solve the installation problem actually two things:
I went to where RoboHelp was unpack the installation files (7\RoboHelp C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Adobe RoboHelp) and set all the EXEs to run in Windows XP compatibility mode.
I opened a command prompt in this directory and run the installer of RoboHelp directly without user intervention: "msiexec /i"Adobe RoboHelp 7.msi"/ passive." This installed RoboHelp using the default options.
It is apparently a problem with InstallShield on Vista which was experienced by many software manufacturers. I found the solution from Symantec for this page: http://tinyurl.com/3g2bl4

Solution Center fails to install - Photosmart C4345 Windows XP SP3
Product HP: Photosmart 4345 all-in-one
System: Windows XP Home SP3
Problem: Solution Center fails to install - shortcut icon is present, but each time Center is launched, it tries to install a missing element, the applications disc. This can be cancelled with 2-3 closures of the window installation and the request for the drive. Printer and scanner can then be controlled form the screen with the mouse, but Center tries intermittently to install the missing module. VERY ANNOYING.
Trying to follow demand drive ease of installation, the message appears:
Module
C://Windows/System32/Macromedia/Flash/Flash9B.ocx
Unable to save.
HRESULT - 2147720473
There has been no recent update is causing this problem. It is at least a year and can be associated with automatic updates for the HP programs - which appear to be very unstable and crash constantly - or MS XP. Both are on the automatic update.
Solutions of someone?
There is an HP update which should fix this. You can get the update from the link below. Let me know what happens.

Windows 8.1 fails to install in the windows store.
I go to Windows store once a week and update fails to install every time.
Hello
There have been similar problems happening when you use a cell phone type of internet connection.
Maybe even fixed line...
One of the workarounds I've read is to start downloading from another connection, pause the download bit after it starts and then continue with the original connection, if desired.
He has also had similar problems with 3rd party security programs. If you have one, turn it off...
In some cases the program must actually be deleted with a removal tool, not just uninstalled...
Are you in any kind of error message?

Oracle 11g client install on crashes windows 2008
Greetings,
I'm trying to reinstall the client of Oracle 11 g on a Windows 2008 R2 Ent. Server and the installation hangs on the back windows where the last message is:
From Oracle Universal Installer...
Monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors greater than 256. 65536 real past
Preparations for the launch of Oracle Universal Installer from c:\temp\2\OraInstall2012-07-19_12-04-18PM. Please wait...
At this point it just hangs.
Is there a setting I'm missing?
I cleaned up the previous installation (directories etc., after you run the deinstall script)
The installActions log file under c:\temp\2\OraInstall < timestamp > display just the first two lines above.
The installation program creates a < single value > dd_vcredist under c:\temp .txt file that contains the following lines at the end, it seems to stop at this point always.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Office Jet 7110 fails to install correctly under windows 7. is there a resolution?
The printer appears as windows and unknown device indicates that the device does not work correctly. HP says that the printer is not available for download (Windows 7 64-bit), but the supplied driver will work. Tried to remove the device, restart the PC and try again with the same results.
Hello hegfla
Try the following steps to install the printer. I noticed that there are two variants of the Officejet 7100 Series driver (HP) and the other (Microsoft). If does not work, try the other. Let me know what happens.
1. open devices and printer
2. click on add a printer
3. click Add a local printer
4. from the existing use select option USB port (or spend USB001 of IP address and then enter the IP address), and then click Next
5. click the button of Windows Update to get all the support window 7 drivers updated
6. once the update is complete. Click HP from the left menu, then select the Officejet 7100 Series in the right menu, and then click Next.
7. follow the remaining instructions to complete the installation. -

failed to install CamStudio in window 8 proX86
Hi Alain,
- What version of Camstudio you trying to install?
- The question is limited to the installation of Camstudio?
We will try these steps and check if that helps.
Method 1:
I suggest completely uninstall the traces of camstudio into the computer and try to reinstall in a clean boot state.
Clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 3: to reset the computer as usual.Method 2:
After my research, I see that most if users solved their problem by installing the correct Visual C++ Redistributable package.
The computer is missing the correct C++ runtime components for your type of version of the operating system. (x 86 or x 64).
Installation of the next update may solve the problem.
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 update 3
Reference:
Later supported Visual C++ downloads
Please post with the State of the question.

Failed to install CS3 on Windows 10!
I'm trying to install CS3 on my laptop, it has been used before on another laptop with success. I disabled on the old laptop before uninstalling, but I can't further to install shared components!
I have tried almost everything, the CS5 cleaner tool tries to install in compatibility mode. Someone has any suggestions, or is it simply not compatible?
I doubt very seriously that a program too OLD will work with Win10
An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others
- or run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign permissions Windows COMPLETE can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)

But, ASP.NET, CGI, and ISAPI all connectors are installed and configured. We installed Coldfusion on more than 40 servers, since version 7 to 11 and that you have not seen this problem before.
Hi Jim,.
You get this error only if the IIS features above are not installed. I'm sure you launch the web as an administrator, even though server configuration tool that shouldn't contribute.
Can you take a screen shot for these IIS features and share.
