  I have closed LabVIEW, downloaded Run-Time Engine 7.0 on the site of NOR and tried to install it, but I received a message saying that it is already installed (as I had suspected).  How can I determine what part of the VI and/or its subVIs tries to make use of Run-Time Engine 7.0?  If not, how can I get LabVIEW to use instead the Run-Time Engine 2013 that was installed when I upgraded to LabVIEW 2013?

  Yes, I run the VI from within a project of LV.  After some more research in the knowledge base OR I could solve the problem by using the following procedure:

  1. use the measurement and Automation Explorer to uninstall Run-Time Engine 7.0

  2. restart the PC

  3. open the project, close the project by choosing "save all".

  4. restart the PC

  5 reinstall the Run-Time Engine 7.0 using a file downloaded from ni.com

  6. restart the PC

  7. open the project, close the project by choosing "save all".

  8. open the project and run the VI.  No more messages on LabVIEW, trying to find the Run-Time Engine 7.0.

  Well, in case someone happens to have a similar problem... I downloaded on my laptop rather & then copied the files to my external HARD drive. The installation worked without a hitch. It seems that for some reason any the .7z file wouldn't download properly on my PC, no matter what method or the browser I used or drive I DLed to... Obviously a cause for concern on my end, but for now, at least he is finally working.

  Set storeFactory = / atg/short/assembler/cartridge/manager/DefaultFileStoreFactory in /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/manager/DefaultWorkbenchContentSource.properties

  Make sure of course below are configured correctly

  -Site of short Id to the element of site must correspond with the name of the site in the Manager(Ex: If the site name in XM is "homeSite", then Endeca site id in the site item should be "/homeSite") experience

  -Set configurationPath=C:/Endeca/ToolsAndFrameworks/11.1.0/server/workspace/state/repository/ /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/manager/DefaultFileStoreFactory.properties

  -Create the user segment in XM to /homeSite as site.homeSite.

  When the "Specify the deployment directory" configuration is selected then you may need to use a deployment tool to deploy this package and need to call for the installation .msi.

  This problem is known. Failed to retrieve the mappings for the server. Reason: null. We fix it.

  Just to check the parameters are collected successfully from the server. Create the project and join the server to the same. CFM open and type must identify the data sources.

  We have a file server and print XP on our network that has a printer Series PCL LaserJet 3330 installed 5th (using the original installation CD and prints from the XP Server).   This issue is between 64 bit and 32 bit, and there is an easy solution. Once you get back to the way it was before you downloaded the 64-bit package that you go to the machine that you want to load the printer and the printer as a local printer using load say lpt1 port. Auto not detect or print a test page and just finished the installation. Now on the windows 7 computer to join devices and printers and right click on the printer icon and scroll the properties first and left click. Go to the ports, and then add the port and in the box that comes up to put in the name of printserver and the share name of the printer by using the syntax \\printserver\sharename how save and apply and this computer will now be able to print to the printer.
