  I recon trust with LDAP and all is well.
  
  1. all by trusting recon I have to give the name of the Organization in "iPlanet Trusted user Recon" scheduled job. (say user 'Temp' org)
  
  2. Once an another Planner would go and update the user organization (now the user in "Org1")
  
  3. If I'm running the recon trust with a few changes, the user is again moved to "Temp". This movement of the user I don't want.
  
  Any suggestions? any approach?
  
  I thought to write a process post event handler after the user to move the old org update. East - recommendable?

  the solution is to change:

  use the transformation against organization attribute
  Below you will find the algo in the transformation class
  org = incomming org
  If (the user in control of IOM help IOM api)
  fetchorg = get the Organization of the IOM usr using oimAPI
  return fetchorg
  on the other
  back org

  In this case if the user exist you provide other ORG existing temp.

  My LDAP user has a custom attribute named "ReconStatus". Then that current enforcement Trusted-Recon, I want to the value "ReconStatus", "Related" for all user records which are linked / uploaded to IOM. How can I do this?

  You could add an adapter of entity on the insert that uses JNDI to update the entries in the ldap server.

  I advise to use a scheduled task as the top of the head on the adapter of the entity would be considerable.

• PeopleSOft trust Recon

  I plan to use 2 connectors TFTP is Trsuted Recon connector and the other for user management connector.
  
  My requirement is like using traction connector Trusted Recon IOM user profile by creating the user name for the profile in IOM and new provision the user account to TFTP based on the user's role will be put in service to the groups...
  
  
  My question is when I pull the user to IOM can I get the role for the user mapping and if there is no role for the user profile mapping... How can I configure the user I wiill be not knowing the user role because it is based on the role of groups?

  As far as I KNOW, we cannot get Role attribute. You can simply go to the reconciliation of the target so that the user will get all roles automatically.

• Error when running Trusted recon DB

  I am facing problem while executing confidence recon for database. He previously worked.
  
  Recently, I tried to activate the option use the same user Id at the IOM. I did the steps mentioned in the metalink for the same thing.
  
  Here are the steps:
  
  1. setting XL. UserIDReuse = TRUE
  2. DROP INDEX UDX_USR_LOGIN;
  3. create a unique index ON USR UDX_USR_LOGIN_UNQ (USR_LOGIN, ACT_KEY, DECODE (USR_STATUS, 'Active', USR_STATUS, TO_CHAR (USR_KEY)));
  
  After these steps when I tried to reuse the id, but it gave me a message contraintVoilaition.
  
  After this today when I ran recon trust I get the following error and the recon does not work:

  Opposite of what you did... And just rename the user deleted from the IOM database... do say, DEPRECATED_USER1 or something like that... Whether it's in the DELETED State...
  And now, do not delete users to the IOM... Never hard - delete... Your recognition will not work...

  For the work of the trust AD user, the only thing you need to do is modify search configuration to "Trusted" an inside resource setting. (is that what you did any other change?)

  I added some UDF custom in the user profile. I made the mapping of attributes and executed the trust for the SAP HRMS recon.
  
  He reconciles all data (Old + newly added date of UDF attributed) in reconciliation Manager, but in the user profile (form xellerate) shows the old date only.
  
  No idea what I'm missing?

  On your definition of Provisioning process for your trusted resource object, map your recon values on the user form? If you have added to the recognized resource as a fields object, they will appear in the Manager of reconciliation in the data section, but if you did not map the values on the defiition process they will not be mapped to the form.

• How to remove the user from the IOM by using Trusted Recon

  We trust Sun to IOM LDAP Recon. We delete usually old Sun LDAP users periodically. According to the requirement, these users should also be eliminated from IOM as well as all its databases that are put into service.
  
  Looks like that, the behavior by default of 'iPlanet Trusted remove user Recon Task' is to set the user status to 'Deleted' and 'Revoked' about the users corresponding IOM and resources put into service. How can I remove users from the IOM as well as the database placed in service in the case of user removed from Sun's LDAP?

  Once a user is created in the IOM, you cannot remove it. As you said, the default behavior for the removal of the recon user approved is that the user will be disabled in IOM and revoked from all target applications. Revoke the user will remove the user from the target applications.

  This is done for the purpose of audit so that later we can determine which users have been removed or terminated.

  But as a you can manually delete the records of user database directly which is not recommended.

  Event handlers in the process pre don t work with recon trust in OIM 11 g R2 PS3. In our scenario, we want to create the user using recon trust and need the password to be generated randomly for the user created through trust recon.

  I have a strange symptoms resembles bug.

  Before going for SR, I would like to share with you and ask your knowledge and your experiences.

  Here are...

  1. create AAA used in the HR system.

  2. create a recon IOM thru Trusted user. = > AAA user is created in the IOM.

  3 assign a role to this user. = > user AAA have role BBB

  4.A political CCC is already ready to available for user with the BBB DDD target role.

  5. run Evaluate user policy = > user AAA have account for DDD. (and right assoiated with it)

  6 remove the role of user AAA = BBB > AAA user have more role BBB. But even when user AAA account to DDD.

  7. perform Evaluate user policy. = > of AAA DDD disabled user account. (defined in the strategy of CCC)

  so far so good.

  8. change AAA used in the HR system.

  9. run Trusted Recon. = > IOM AAA user is modified aso.

  * But here the account disabled for DDD is changed to on.

  Can anyone help with this?

  Trusted Recon only creates the user of the IOM. You also want to run a reconciliation of the target to create the instance target on their profile.

  There is an account (say User1) in the target system and this user does not exist in the IOM. Now after target running recon, there will be no match found.
  
  What happens when the target recon runs for this particular user. It will create the user in users Xellerate first and then link this account (provisions that take into account this user)?

  Quite right! For Target Recon you should not create this rule, than if you create one that he wouldn't have a difference with some exceptions because the unapproved resource object (target) doesn't have the ability to create users by the recon.

  My understanding is that once the connector is installed as a reliable source, you can not change, right? So how you set up to perform a first recon trust to bulk load all AD accounts in IOM, then change it make regular target account management mode resource?

  PS - Can you have several Trusted Recon connectors? If I wanted to do a 1st load import of users from Peoplesoft and AD, I have installed both as a reliable source at the same time? What is advised here?
