Failures of external appeal

Forgive the question if this is a mute. I'm still pretty new in Eloqua. I'm looking because of a particular external call error involving an advance in a campaign. The particular failure message which is stumping me is "Impossibleto get exclusive access to this record."  The sons were created successfully on these contacts so I don't know what it could be.


Thoughts?

This message indicates that another process (another external call, or some kind of workflow in your CRM) has this locked file. If his constant, this indicates a problem (probably, a workflow in your CRM that works for a very long time). If you are only led once from time to time, I wouldn't worry on this subject.

    I have an external call which update SFDC with data stored in a CDO. When I manually test our external appeal, which works fine and its the SFDC data updates.

    However when the program is run automatically it never update the records of SFDC.

    If you still have problems... can you check that there is a static route BOF 192.168.100.0/24 on router 192.168.1.14 and initiate a tracert to a host on the network of 10.10.x.x at 192.168.100.7 and see where it goes... your tests show that the VPN client knows how to get to this subnet, but it seems that there is a problem of routing between 10.X.X.X going 192.168.100.0

I built an external call, "Campaigning members", who has worked... but sync is that the Member of the campaign if they have a contact in SFDC... not leads.     Control you which object you bring to the wire (wire or contact) by the field that you use to map to your contact in Eloqua for the data card game. What I mean by that is if your data card placed the email field to map your data to your Eloqua contact card, then the object that you have mapped to your e-mail domain will be the object, it draws from. If you use the campaign member object as your initial synchronization you have taken from the e-mail address of the contact object associated with the Member of the campaign and not the main object.

    I worked on this a few months back, and the only solution I could come, which does not require regular handling, was to create an identical synchronization. A synchronization pulls email from the head and the other contact. However, two synchronizations to update the same data card game.

    Depending on your use case however it might be possible to create a SFDC formula field that would lead or contact email address on the campaign member and then use it as the single field.

    Easy.  The certificate being presented to the user is not coming from an approved certification authority.  Apparently, you have an internal certification authority who issued the certificate, and this internal authority is known for your internal users, but not for external users.  Having the external user add your internal certification authority to their certificate trust store, or buy a certificate for balancing of load of a known certificate authority, such as Verisign or Entrust.

This can be useful sometimes (deletes an external point of failure and external complexity). Maybe it's not ideal at other times. As usual, it depends on the security requirements and the physical communications infrastructure.

    Yes. The caller specifies what exactly? A URL that refers to a procedure from PL/SQL web active. So if that is served by Apache mod_plsql or via a servlette XDB is neither here or there - both are interface HTTP communication layers. Their main goal is to provide the interface between the client and the web service.

    I find the documentation on web services to confusion at times because it is too abstract and does not address the fundamental workings of its operation. And Oracle API web service in the data base is (AFAIK), on ito Java classes complex configuration and use of the PL/SQL wrappers and cryptic in error responses.

    So when it comes to web services, I generally prefer to roll my own using PL/SQL only.

    Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

    • Hardware failure
    • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
    • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt

    No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

    Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

    If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

    Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.

    No, because the limiting factor is the computer is USB 2.0, which is how it connects any external drive apart the external drive. As USB 2.0 is much slower, there is no real advantage to a 7200 RPM drive. What you need is a Firewire enclosure that supports FW800 which is much faster than USB 2.0.

    Hard drive problems seem never to end for me.

    I have a satellite M30-604. Recently my Hitachi HDD crashed. Now, I am trying to boot from an external hard drive via usb, but I can't.

    (a) I use a ViPower 3.5 "(model VP9258T) enclosure external usb 2.0"
    (b) with a Seagate 200 GB hard drive.
    (c) I used the recovery cd to install windows on the seagate
    (d) the bios (v1.4) seems to support the external device to start
    (e) the internal hdd crashed is deleted (it's internal hard drive space is empty)
    (f) the bios sees the drive and recognizes it as a USB

    I think it should work, but when I turn on the computer, after a while, he says: "0201: failure IDE #0"
    and gives me the options to run the program installation or start-up.
    When I choose boot it gives me the window with "boot in safe mode" screen, 'last known good configuration' etc, but nothing of the work options (it restarts and gives the same again).

    My research on this subject has led me to believe that it is not possible to boot an operating system of attached USB HDD XP. I read several posts on various usenet groups on this issue, and the consensus of opinion is that it is simply not possible.

    Several suppliers of BIOS claim allow a USB HDD to be suitable for start-up purposes but I still have to attend such a machination succeed with XP.
