HELO Maria again

I found som advice in a forum on hacking the router and change the DNS.

I just find that my ASUS router has been hacked and the DNS value changed to 185.29.8.202!

I've now changed it to the correct IP number. And a stronger admin PW.

I also bocked IP 194.6.232.151 address in the firewall of the router.

ASUS sent me a new firmware, so I'm going to the router

The problem is that I don't know how they did when they hacked into my router... my old PW was also 'verystrong '.

Take care

  • Google Chrome (Dev channel) using the old version of Adobe Flash Player

    Hi all

I hope this isn't a stupid question. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem regarding the browser Google Chrome Dev (Version 45.0.2438.3 dev - m (64 bit)) using an old version of Flash Player? Here are the details from the Plugins page. I have 18.0.0.205 beta installed (by ActiveX, NPAPI, PPAPI) However, these are the versions of 32-bit. Chrome will not give me access to any other plugin for flash player other than what is shown below. As far as I know the latest public version of the Chrome browser is 18.0.0.203?

There the stand-alone installers for 64-bit flash players, because I have not met one of these? Not sure if Chrome doesn't is more pick up these plugins being installed because of this be a later version of the channel dev, or be a 64 bit version now. Thank you in advance for any input.

    Kind regards

  • Why are there now TWO Adobe Flash Player required to view all of the Web sites: v11.9.900 and v12.0.0.43?

I had Adobe Flash Player v.11.9.900.170 and upgraded to v.12.0.0.43. When I checked the Add-ons Manager, both versions of Flash were listed and active. I disabled the earlier version, and now indicate a few sites I don't have Flash. When I re-activated the old version, the video has played very well. So what's the problem with it is necessary to have TWO versions of Flash Player installed, the current one AND a previous one? Seems hinkey...

@cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  • Page updated Firefox always said 'you need to update Adobe Flash Player now! ", but identifies the missing plugin update process which I am unable to find.

I click the button to update Flash Player on the web page updated to Firefox that brings me to the Adobe Flash Player download page. By clicking on the download button now takes me to a page of instruction poster screenshots to wait during the process. The InfoBar at the top of the page says it has a missing plug in, but by clicking on the button "install the plug-in missing" translates to "not found any plug-in." There is no other button or active link on the Adobe page that allows me to move forward with the process. This same thing happened the last several times that Firefox has updated. Flash Player has not been updated for a long time.

Is easier to use the manual setup programs to install Flash, for details, see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html#main_ManualInstaller

Unless you use the 64-bit browser, you will not need 64-bit plugins.  Just because Windows is 64-bit does not mean that everything has been installed it is.

Uninstall all Plugins Internet (RealPlayer, QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Adobe Air, Microsoft Silverlight, K-lite codec pack, etc.) of your computer.

    Turn it back on.

Reset Internet Explorer default.  If used, reset the default values for Firefox.
[Note: If you don't have any other browsers installed at that time, taste.]  Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera are decent.

    Turn it back on.

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.

    Turn it back on.

Install Adobe Flash Player (in Internet Explorer and Firefox separately) and Microsoft Silverlight.  Remember to UNCHECK all the boxes to install other software with them.

    Turn it back on.

Try whatever you were doing before.  Come back and let everyone know how things went.

  • Support, latest version of Adobe Flash Player now cannot open PDF files

I loaded Adobe Flash player today and now I'm sorry I did.  When I try to open PDFs on my mac, I get a message to the effect that I need to launch adobe reader, accept the terms of the agreement, exit my browser (safari) and start it again.  When I try to do all this, I can't find a way to accept the terms of adobe.  So, I'm stuck and so frustrated!  Thanks for your help as soon as possible - please talk in plain language I'm not tech savvy.

Launch the player in your Applications folder and accept the agreement. This has NOTHING to do with Flash Player.

  • Adobe Flash Player is safe now?

A few days ago, we are warned by Firefox that Adobe Flash Player has proved not secure. Can you tell me if this situation is resolved, or is there a workaround?

Hi, the problem with Shockwave Flash has been resolved in 18.0.0.209. Make sure that you are up-to-date in the modules Manager Ctrl + Shift + A, then Plugins.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

  • Firefox off telling me to upgrade to the new version of the flash plugin. I can't upgrade to the latest Adobe flash player 11, because it does not support Windows Vista 64-bit. So now what am I supposed to do?

I have Windows Vista 64-bit. I can not play online games on Pogo. I have already contacted Pogo & they have update me of flash player. Firefox disabled by the Flash plugin. I can't update Adobe flash player because it does not support 64-bit.

    See:

  • I can't load Adobe Flash Player when you are prompted by almost everyone now.

    Hi Ron3_644,

You can try to remove the previous versions and install manually the last.

  • I installed Microsoft Fix It and now I can't play anything with IE9 which requires Adobe Flash Player

Instead, I receive a message to install the latest verstion of Adobe Flash Player (which I have already installed) and even if I try to install Flash Player again, no go.  No video.  I tried on several Web sites.  I don't know if this really has nothing to do with Microsoft Fix It, or if there are some problems with the security of IE9.

In Internet Explorer, go to tools > manage Addons and check that the Shockwave Flash object is listed and enabled. Then go to tools > Security and ensure that ActiveX filtering is not enabled.

  • Installed Adobe Flash Player update and now get the security warning message

On each page on that I click I get the warning following pop box IE. A website wants to open web content outside of protected mode. This program will open outside of protected mode". The Web site, whether is Adobe Flash Player.  I can't get rid of the pop up if I click on allow.  I can click on don't allow not, but for every thing I'm in, I get this pop up warning window.  I do not think that I have to click on "don't show me this message again" that I should?

I asked this question on the Adobe forum, and while a lot of people have looked at my question, I did not get all the answers.  I also went to support at Microsoft and found this problem.  The only difference is that the problem is for Vista and I have Windows 7.  Otherwise, it's exactly the same thing.  He said to check for a fix.  I clicked the button to fix, but then he said that it was not available.  I don't understand.  First he said it was, but when I clicked it, it said that it was not.  Is it because I have Windows 7 and not Vista?

As you can probably, I'm not the sharptest knife in the drawer when it comes to computer problems so I could sure use some help.  I also installed all updates latest IE.  That did not help.  I would like just to uninstall Adobe Flash Player but don't have many programs need?  I you could use some help here.  Thank you.

    Sandee

I tried to follow your steps as carefully as I could.  I'm sorry to report that it did not work.  What I finally had to do was to make a back up and restore.  I backed up before 3 days, which was a bunch of Windows updates.  I probably lost all updates but guess what - the warning box has disappeared.

Thank you very much for taking the time & than give me such clear instructions, step by step.  The fact that you tried is appreciated by me.
