• Totally confused about error message when you save the model.

  I am a total novice - teach myself that I'm going through all the tutorials.  I built my index page off the Dreamweaver to build your first Web site tutorial.  I posted a question about a model from this page, and he responded by sending me a link to "The Missing Manual". I followed the instructions to make the template and editable regions and I get the error the talks from trying to save an editable region within block-level elements, but I do not understand how to fix it.

  Areas I'm trying to make editable are my navigation bar on the left that has been created in a table as the tutorial said using the block function in CSS styles.  As I used it, not make the editable region? My navigation is locked or I'll be able to change the navigation from one page to the other buttons?  I have read so many things I've confused myself.

  First off you need to create a model of 'master' NOT an index page. The index page is created from the "master" template

  Explained simply: build a page as you like in Dreamweaver, and save it as a template for the folder root of your site. File > save as template

  Then you can create pages of your site from the "master" template File > new > template > choose Site folder > select model > create

  You now have a new page, based on the model of 'master '. Save it with the name index.html in the folder of your site.

  Your 'master' model has no editable now region then open it in Dreamweaver. Insert your cursor in the table cell where is your left navigation and then select themark along the bottom of the Dreamweaver window. Choose now your navigation overall is in the table cell to make you an ' editable '.

  Go > insert > template objects > editable region. Name LeftNavigation, and then click ok. You will see that your navigation has now been wrapped in an editable region. Save the model of 'master' and the changes will be reflected in the index.html page, which was created from the "master" template

  The principle is simple in nature, although the tape recorder is not the best option available for you, even in free software for audio recording you can.

  If you want to use sound recorder, you will need to get a 1/8 inch male-male stero (cable basically a helmet with two male ends) and put one of your speakers into your microphone in the port (line in).

  Then open sound recorder and give it a shot. The recorded files will be in .wav format, so you need to get a freeware to convert to program them to .mp3 if necessary. Or use this:

  I have VITs who call the other VITs or CSTT in some of my models.

  I want to open a reference to a template and save the new screw/CTL the disk programmatically but I get errors

  My code works fine for the screws or the VITs only call the other screws or CTL.

  However if the VI or LIVES contains calls to other VITs or CSTT then it fails.

  When I try to get a reference to the new VI or CTL in memory the reference seems dead?

  Can someone point me in the right direction?

  in IE8, I could save my favorites in case I needed to recharge the system. I wish I could back up my bookmarks Firefox in the same way.

  Go to help > troubleshooting information, and then click Open containing folder. Which will open Windows Explorer in your Firefox profile.

  You can then see the places.sqlite file that you can save with Firefox closed.

  There are also automated under the bookmarkbackups folder backups.

  Finally, you can export your favorites through the Firefox UI: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+and+restoring+bookmarks#Manual_backup

• WinXP is frozen (hourglass) and I got 20 instantiations of MS Paint running. I can save the pictures of MS Paint?

  Hi, I had 20 screencaps that I put in 20 instantiations of MS Paint running. Then I downloaded an independent file. Once the download is complete, the download box said he was looking for viruses (anti-virus AVG?). Then the system froze. The cursor is an hourglass. I can't click on anything to work. I tried CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the Task Manager, but the Task Manager does not come to the top. I want to know if I can put the 20 screencaps in 20 MS Paint instantiations.

  Can I make an emergency disk or thumb drive that will allow me to save files of content of each of the instantiations of MS Paint?

  If this isn't the case, MS Paint using a scratch your temporary files that it puts the content in? Could I restart the computer (power button down for 10 seconds) and find files scratch 20 who used each MS Paint and save them in a regular file?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You must save the MS paint files manually if not you will lose all files that you have not saved since MS paint does not automatically save files. Once the files are lost, you can retrieve them.

  I am using Hyperion Intelligence Explorer 8.3 on Windows XP/SP3.
  There is a section of a report that I use I want to convert an Excel worksheet.
  I use the function insert a table. Then layout all the columns in this section.
  Then make an article of export. Which works very well.
  What slows me down, is that whenever I do that, I have to pick off all the columns in the report.
  That takes some time.
  What I was wondering if there is some way I can speed up this process.
  For example, if I could save the layout once and reuse for the future of the reports which would be wonderful.
  The columns are always the same. But maybe there is a better way to convert this
  section of Excel?

• Where Cookies-Exceptions are stored so that I can save the file?

  I have access to my computer using 'Accept cookies from sites' - 'Exceptions'.

  Whenever I have reinstall FireFox, I have to manually add the sites one by one to this list of exceptions.

  If I knew what file these exceptions were stored in, I could save the file and do not have to recreate them each time.

  All permissions except password exceptions are stored in permissions.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder

  The permissions.sqlite file stores exceptions allow and block for cookies, images, pop - up windows and installation of the extensions (software).

• Can save the configuration when running VI, but not file not when running EXE

  I have attached a file zip containing a LabVIEW project as well as a built EXE.

  The program will load up the numerical value of the file config in both cases, but it will only write the configuration file when it is executed as a VI, not as an executable file. If I don't use the computer of JKI State, I do not think I see this problem, so I think it's the order in which the program quits? I tried to disable the Panel before closing, but that did not always help.

  Reading configuration file is made in the case of "Data - initialize" and the config file for writing in the case of 'Cleaning up' -.

  It seems that the difference between the run-time and development environment behavior is the Close event of front panel. It's in Dev mode, you do not go to the front > close State, but you don't have at run time. Try to run your cleanup command before the command close to see if that fixes it. If you close the front panel, the values could be recovered, VI OpenG has not all the values to get more because they have left the memory.

  If the Panel should be closed more quickly, but you need to hide the front panel without the closing, you can use the FP. Open invoke node with a contribution of the State of "hidden". This will hide the front panel while keeping open and then the Panel will always close end when your application terminates.

  I went travelling this summer and want to make a video of all my photos / videos. As you can imagine there are many of them and they are on different cards memory. So I bought a disc external hard samsung which is comparable with Mac to store all my content. The first batch of files that I imported from my hard drive to iMovie went on well, but then I tried to import some more and I do not have enough memory space on my Macbook Air.

  Is there anyway you can get iMovie to use my external hard drive to save projects as default? So instead of import content and she being temporarily stored on my macbook while editing, it would save on my hard drive?

  Yes you can.  For a long time I used iMovie 11 but transfer events to and external drive is covered in the help files to: http://help.apple.com/imovie/#mov3ac6d42c

  Note that the disk should be in Mac format.  If you are not sure, check using disk utility.
