• Totally confused about error message when you save the model.

  I am a total novice - teach myself that I'm going through all the tutorials.  I built my index page off the Dreamweaver to build your first Web site tutorial.  I posted a question about a model from this page, and he responded by sending me a link to "The Missing Manual". I followed the instructions to make the template and editable regions and I get the error the talks from trying to save an editable region within block-level elements, but I do not understand how to fix it.

  Areas I'm trying to make editable are my navigation bar on the left that has been created in a table as the tutorial said using the block function in CSS styles.  As I used it, not make the editable region? My navigation is locked or I'll be able to change the navigation from one page to the other buttons?  I have read so many things I've confused myself.

  The excerpt that gives a good description of how repair if you have not used the field block to the style of the page, but I'm confused about what to do as I did?

  First off you need to create a model of 'master' NOT an index page. The index page is created from the "master" template

  Explained simply: build a page as you like in Dreamweaver, and save it as a template for the folder root of your site. File > save as template

  Then you can create pages of your site from the "master" template File > new > template > choose Site folder > select model > create

  You now have a new page, based on the model of 'master '. Save it with the name index.html in the folder of your site.

  Your 'master' model has no editable now region then open it in Dreamweaver. Insert your cursor in the table cell where is your left navigation and then select themark along the bottom of the Dreamweaver window. Choose now your navigation overall is in the table cell to make you an ' editable '.

  Go > insert > template objects > editable region. Name LeftNavigation, and then click ok. You will see that your navigation has now been wrapped in an editable region. Save the model of 'master' and the changes will be reflected in the index.html page, which was created from the "master" template

  No, but you can download and save SoftPaqs for download different directories (directories may have another name, including model names) by making use of SDM in mode 'All products' and 'building Driver Pack"SDM.

  To do this, select the template that you want, then go to Tools/Configuration Options and change the name of the download directory for the model name/number. When you set up the configuration if you wish, save by selecting file/save or file/save product Configuration under. We recommend saving all your SDM configurations in the same folder for easy selection.

  When you are ready to load a configuration, simply select file/load Configuration of the product.

  Normally, an application server will expand the war for the web application file works from the expanded location. When this is the case, you can deploy a new one simply by copying the module zip file in the directory WEB-INF/classes/rulebases .

  However, Weblogic is not extend the web application, there is no directory to copy the file zip of modules on.

  It is possible to run the determinations under weblogic server so that you can deploy a new modules without restarting the server of determinations. There are two technqiues to achieve this.

  1. you can manually unzip the .war file somewhere that the weblogic server can see locally and then deploy the .war file expanded as the determinations server web app. If you do that you can deploy a new modules by copying the zip file in the directory WEB-INF/classes/rulebases to this place.

  2. it is possible to specify a rulebases directory that is not in the web application. In this case, it should be a place the web application can be done locally. You can deploy a new modules by copying the rulebase.zip file to the location specified modules.

  You specify a different directory to search rulebases by setting a java system property: determinations.server.rulebase.dir.

  Example of

  -Ddeterminations.server.rulebase.dir=/some/other/dir/rulebases

  I have VITs who call the other VITs or CSTT in some of my models.

  I want to open a reference to a template and save the new screw/CTL the disk programmatically but I get errors

  My code works fine for the screws or the VITs only call the other screws or CTL.

  However if the VI or LIVES contains calls to other VITs or CSTT then it fails.

  When I try to get a reference to the new VI or CTL in memory the reference seems dead?

  Can someone point me in the right direction?

  Can I create an index on a column to the table of the seeds of the oracle applications. If so, then, what are the implications? If not, what are the reasons... Can anyone give some input on this...
  
  Why I need this...
  
  I have a validation on the column 'JOURNAL_COMMENT' in Table 'IC_JRNL_MST' in my custom Interface program. It takes 2.5 minutes to complete the validation of a record. I created the index on this column in the process of development and validation time is reduced to less than a second. So, I need to create this index on an instance of production to reduce the time of validation.
  
  can I do it? (create the index on the production instance) forgot to mention... I can't ignore that particular column validation...

  You can certainly create indexes custom table seeded so this improvement in performance has to offer. I did it several times.
  As you know, a new index is provided with a cost (storage and maintenance), but it will be significantly smaller than your gains.
  A new index will not harm any validations / business logic.
  Just keep in mind that if you or a patch happens to drop and re-create the table, you must remember to rebuild the index.

  What I have to do? How to preserve the original links in file created on the basis of the model.

  If the links are correct in the model, based on where the model is
  located, so they'll be correct in the pages of the child, anywhere
  within the site save you. DW will manage these links for you.

  If you see the absolute link 'file' persist after the registration of the child.
  It may be because of one of these.

  1 DW think that you linked to a page outside the local root
  folder, or
  2 DW think you have saved this page outside of the local root folder

• Various problems related to the tests for Oracle Applications R12 PreInstall HCVE

  I am preparing a Linux machine for installation of Oracle Applications R12 and currently I have several problems with the HCVE tests that are part of the ANR ([Doc ID 250262.1| https://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/f?p=130:14:4000869102561861013:p14_database_id, p14_docid, p14_show_header, p14_show_help, p14_black_frame, p14_font:NOT, 250262.1, 1, 0, 0, helvetica]). Here are the first two problems:
  
  1. when I run the RDA (. rda.pl t hcve) and select a test (in this case, "Oracle Database 11 g R1 (11.1.0) PreInstall (Linux AMD64)"), the script wonder of the JDK 'House '. Why the script asks if the installation process will install JDK? If I jump it (i.e. just press enter), the JDK test shows up as failed in the results. What should I put here?
  
  2. the tests 'process limit' and 'Limit descriptors' fail both:
  
  A00120 doesn't have a process boundary less 16384
  A00130 FAILURE of lower limit to 65536 descriptors
  
  I put these two values in /etc/security/limits.conf according to the instructions here: [Doc ID 761566.1| https://metalink2.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/f?p=130:14:4000869102561861013:p14_database_id, p14_docid, p14_show_header, p14_show_help, p14_black_frame, p14_font:NOT, 761566.1, 1, 1, 1, helvetica]

  I installed on my local machine to apex and I created dblink to my applications remote oracle DB. Now, if I try to access all the views in the db to oracle applications, iam not getting data from the org context is not set.
  
  I tried to set the org context using below:
  
  exec dbms_application_info.set_client_info@appsdblink ('100');
  
  but still iam not received all data. I hope that there should be a way to do it.
