  • Win 7 64 bits + FSX = 'Fatal error' & CTD / reboot

    Hello

Like many other people, I get this error message, and some fatal errors followed TCTC when in FSX, to the point that I have almost all but given to the top to never play FSX.

"This feature requires that {smartassembly} is available on this computer.

I looked on all the forums, including this constructive info one, but none that has helped me so far. I tried to reinstall windows & FSX 5 times the last two days, tried the fix c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll., closure of the various windows services at startup, usually following the adivce in another Win7 + FSX forums here.  Nothing works.

The CTD occur in flight, but also after a start to the gates where I leave the plane for a few hours, I will return to find FSX has restarted itself.

I run FSX on Win 7 64 bit, which, through various forums, gives people a lot of problems (CTD) with FSX. It seems that this is a common problem, so I hope you can help solve this problem. So far, I (and many others) cannot use their FSX + addons which we have invested a lot of money in.

Please let me know, the more information you need, but pls don't tell me to reinstall Windows & FSX once more. I did it 5 times in the last two days, is not what is causing FSX to malfuntion.
    Thanks in advance.

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itproappcompat/thread/fb1808ff-92f0-478b-9826-f2ed6fbeae97

IT WORKED FOR ME! I just deleted the c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll (after saving). Problem solved! It's fantastic! Has made a whole flight from Changi to Frankfurt using the menu strongly and there is no problem!

THE BOTTOM LINE WHICH IS THE UIAUTOMATIONCORE. DLL FILE CAUSES OTHER DLL FILES MALFUNCTION!

A lot of people, I have the fix -after a whole year of fussing and spend $600 on all versions of windows out there-XP 32-bit stinky. Proffessional XP 64, vista HP32, vista 64 HP, Win 7 RC 32 & 64, Win 7 32 business and Win 7 64 bit Professional (my main OS of FSX on which I made the success of difficulty). As simple as it sounds, it works. I tried to replace the file c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll and FSX would still be well down after a while. And if it wasn't this dll file, it would become another file such as ntdll. So I tried completely delete the file of 32 times the syswow64 folders and system c:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll. Now, I play with the graphics settings and set to custom traffic and turned up completely while I aircraft FSX, landscapes and weather parameters turned to ultra high and no crashes for two days! I can click in and out of any menu such as map or the virtual flight path change full flight plane or change full weather flight with without crashing. I tried every way to get FSX down and I can't do it!

FSX is really great when it works.

Here IS THE SOLUTION: You may need to take ownership of the files if windows prevents you to delete the file. Open the prompt cmd and do a right-click to run as administrator, and then type in exactly below its replacement by your login name from windows where it says username:

    takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\uiautomationcore.dll

    cacls C:\Windows\System32\uiautomationcore.dll/g username:F

    takeown /f C:\Windows\Syswow64\uiautomationcore.dll

    cacls C:\Windows\Syswow64\uiautomationcore.dll/g username:F

Now you can only access your system32 and syswow64 folders in windows Explorer and after saving files C:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll just remove them from your computer. (Don't forget to delete the file Uiatomationcore.dll in the folder FSX ure also if you install as the fix in other posts).

If you download their latest driver Nvidia cards also. Its got a huge performance increase. The only problem I've had by deleting the C:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll file is that if I get FSX completely while in the flight of my office windows becomes dysfunctional and I have to restart. If I first put end to the leak and then quit FSX I have no problem. I have four different OS on separate partitions on my computer built especially for FSX. There is no point playing FSX on all 32-bit versions of windows, because you will have more FS 2004 than FSX on a 32-bit system.

Now, since I have 12 GB of RAM, dual of the 9800GT, intel core i7 920 clocked stock (suck cuz MSI MB for OC) and three 22 "monitors - rather than get 10 FPS (on my 32-bit windows 7) I get 25 FPS on my 64 bit Windows 7 with two windows of the virtual cockpit on two monitors and all my instruments on the 3rd monitor. BTW 6 GB (if you have three slots) or 8 GB Ram (if you have dual channel) with a 64 bit OS is a lot - I just find my DDR3 RAM to remove dirt cheap on Microcenter one year ago. 4 GB is not enough you will get OOM errors with parameters even rolled to halfway. Don't have need to buy fancy graphics cards is because FSX's time CPU and does not really do well on recent graphics cards. The 9800GT are very cheap at like $70. Also certainly upgrade to the core i7.

Please spread the word to all our friends in fsx!

    Hi Fahimulla;

I have the 'FSX 'Gold Edition' ' which is FSX (records 1 and 2) and acceleration.

    I tried the clean boot

    Registry cleaner

I have searched the Internet for others like me and disabled the Dep. (this cause the BEX to become an error APPCRSH error).

    None of the above worked.

The only thing that worked was to reinstall FSX in a directory that is:

NOT in Program files (x 86)

NOT the same name as the corrupted (earlier) version of FSX. (For example I got the defalut FSX gives the first installation. I then changed to the C:\FSX and I have the fatal error occur.

I also use the 32-bit C:\windows\system32\uiautomationcore.dll in the FSX main folder (where the .exe is located) and I'm not having CTDs on using the menu while the Simulator works...

While my problem may have been avoided, for now, I hope that something is done to address this recurring problem.

Thank you very much for your help!

  • Re: Toshiba Power Saver fatal error. Code 0 x 0

    Hi all

I recently received this new notebook Tecra M10 (model PTMB0A - 00M 001) replace my laptop to existing business. It came loaded with Windows XP and built by the standard portable computer generation.

It works fine except that at startup I get the error message "a fatal error has occurred. The program will end. "Code: 0x0.

I did some research and I think that the original version may have been compromised, because there aren't has no files in the directory C:\Program Toshiba Saver except for a TPSTrace.log that has this message inside: "a fatal error has occurred. The program will end. "Code: 0x0 rental: TPwrSave.cpp (140). The Power Saver software claims to be v7.11.00.

I downloaded the latest version 7.11.10 (for XP) and when you try to install, the software asks you if it can uninstall the existing version and as it tries, the fatal error code: 0 x 0 occurs which always uninstall, and I suppose that reinstall it. It seems a pity to restore from CD lose all data and other software that is very good because of this software pooey to save energy. Given the original installation was probably standard, there is no guarantee that even if I do a system restore on CD the same problem not re - manifests.

Is there a way I can do XP think software is deleted (it seems to be absent physically, but XP think it is present) by forcing an uninstall. I can then try to reinstall it to see if I can do better than what it was when it was delivered to me. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to just work without it, for the trouble it causes.

    Thanks in advance.

    Raymond

You must delete it from the registry.

Try CCleaner first, it may be able to remove the bad registry for you keys. (google for "CCleaner")

Otherwise, run Regedit, and then search for "to sleep". Make sure that you delete, in order to ensure the results refer to Toshiba Power Saver.

PS. back up the registry first. You can do this by creating a Restore Point in Windows. (Panel of-> system)

  • Win2k3 Server IIS SChannel event 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information."

To make a long story short, I went to use client software that I use a few times a week and it would not connect to the server, complaining not found or number of SSL.  When research various dcom, schannel errors errors in the event logs and a few others, I systematically over the last 24 hours cleared up the boot is so now clean (no time starting network on startup and no message on the service could not start).  It seems that something has happened a month ago after that the server crashed where at least the first DCOM messaged presented themselves, but everything has been working well until it didn't.  The dcom patches end up having to do with the ...\rsa\machinekeys (and the way that it) had a few "account unknown" in it, I cleaned everything that (at a time since I removed all items in this folder, but then put their subsequent return (by crushing all except 2 after creating a new certificate), had to reinstall virtual server and iis 6) , at some point as well.  In any case, I'm at the point where everything works (no event log errors/etc) from startup until you try to connect to the IIS 6 Server using https:... at this point, you get the event SChannel 36871 "a fatal error occurred when creating the SSL server credential information." (no additional information) is connected and the client browser cannot access the site (you can keep trying and it does not work but no event log entry more).  So that's where I'm sitting, http: works fine, https: No.  Certificate appears in the default Web site correct, said valid and possesses the private key, port 443 is there, all addresses by default, netstat shows port 443 same process id as the port 80.  I can't find a copy of SSLDiag do test to see if that prove something?

So I need help what is not going to get this new job of fixing.  What should I do?

    Thank you!

  • All-in-One D110A Series: series D110a, fatal error installation problems

Before our son using this printer at the school, he worked well at home for years.

I am tired of the to put back, thinking it was already installed on my laptop, and all I needed to do is etup the wireless.

Something went wrong when setting up wireless, someone walked the table and pulled off the printer power cord.

Anyway, after that I could never set up the wireless, even after coming back to the default settings. I tried to uninstall all traces of the printer on the laptop and more. Now, I don't remember using a disk to set up a few years previously, only connect the cable USB and passing away.

When you try this I get some of the elements of lines installed, but three lines who say Photosmart series would come to say no driver found. I tried to download the driver software manually, NG.

Today, I just tried to use the hppiw.exe, the installation wizard, everything seems ok then I get a fatal error during Installation.

Clicked by the guests, he even said at one point, a solution has been found, he did a report error report collection before that. Now, shows the following:

Type "msiexec/regserver" (without the quotes) and press ENTER.

If you don't see anything except a new line will appear to type, you've successfully entered the correct line. Now:

    1. Click Start.
    2. In the search bar type in msconfig and press ENTER.
    3. Click the Services tab.
    4. Click Hide all by Microsoft.

If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    See you soon.
