FCX 1.5 MX and Flash 8

Hello

I was searching on this subject, but so far, I have not found any clear or sufficient response...
What defined communication component (and where you can download) can be used to develop FCS 1.5 in Flash 8 Pro?
I would use the AVPresence cat, etc... This is a serious request, not targeting to get the answer "it is better to code them yourself. The fact is, to find out about compatibility. So please be kind and try to erase or to explain the circumstances. I would like to start coding, but feel blocked by the simple question which components (FCS V1, V2 or FMS) I should install.

Thanks for advantage

I would like to correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the 'new' fcs2 components available from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashmediaserver/articles/components.html are dated June 2002. (Information about the AVPresence version shows Version d20, 06.28.2002 for example)

They seem to be older than MX 2004 'later' Communication components that I found on my hard drive (AVPresence info Version shows Version d23, 02.22.2003 it)

So, there is no AS2 compatibility to assume with the fc2_components and some problems reported by other people do this method seems to be the reality (see problems with "SimpleConnect" and "Vidéoconférence" reported in several other threads).
I have not found any Tech Info, releasenote or whatever it is official stressing the AS1 and deployment > 6 FP issues limits. The only source of information is here in the forum. It's boring, tedious and does not contribute to the customer satisfaction (just my opinion) that Adobe doesn't keep on track with its own products. How is it to explain that the soles of Adobe/MM putsold on new shoes, because it seems to me?

Both FMS and Flash 8 are good and well-established products. But (again once I said just my opinion) when a company offers an enrichment (I can still see the CommComponents to light) for an expensive product, it must be supported, documented, maintained and updated in the same manner as the product itself. Or they should let it be, because all that they cause confusion when things are not documented.

I would be happy, if I'm wrong with what seems to me. Maybe I missed something and someone can correct my statements (nobody is perfect).

The (sad) outcome of my investigation is:
-No. AS 2.0 compatibility,.
-Problems when deploying to FP > 6 spout. of States depricated
-partial decreased functionality of fms2_components compared to the other Versions of CommComponents (MX 2004 components)
-NO docu on limitations or technical information on compatibility.

Conclusion is (like the JayCharles mentioned in a previous post):
Better is not not to use the predefined CommunicationComponents.

As long as Adobe does not support them AS 2 and the actual FP Versions I agree to the statement by JayCharles.
