    Hi, I have installed sqldeveloper - 4.0.3.16.84 - x 64 with JDK and tried to run SQLDeveloper.exe its does not work. A flash comes and goes. It worked fine until two days ago. Don't know what happened all of a sudden its not working. Need help.

    I use Windows 7 Pro.

    I have read other threads and tried to launch SQLDeveloper.exe from the CMD prompt, nothing is shown a flash comes and goes.

    Tried to change of SetJavaHome sqldeveloper.conf to the path JDK that it didn't work.

    Please guide me.

    Thank you

    Maybe there is a problem with SQL Developer, being able to write to the network share of desktop directory.  Add the following to your sqldeveloper.conf file to force the settings of the user to store locally also:

    AddVMOption - Dide.user.dir = some_local_dir_to_own_system4.0.3.16.84

    I hope this helps...

  • Air App won't read a local text file using the openAsync/readUTFBytes on user (not administrator) mode

    I run an Air application, I did for the office, the real installed executable already deployed in the machine (not Flash Pro / Flex dev environment.). For some reason the application cannot read a file of text stored in the same application, unless I run my application as the administrator of the operating system.

    When I run the application as an administrator, or in the development environment, it works fine. Maybe this is related to a security issue? I have read the adobe air documentation, and it should work...

    I use openAsync/readUTFBytes on the user as shown here:

    var continueGamesConnection:FileStream();

    var continueFile:File = new File(File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath("continueGames.txt").nativePath.toString());

    continueGamesConnection.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, openSavedGames);

    continueGamesConnection.openAsync(continueFile, FileMode.UPDATE);

    function openSavedGames(event:Event):void

    {

         continueGamesConnection.removeEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, openSavedGames);

         var content:URLVariables = new URLVariables();

         var loadedContent:String = new String();

         loadedContent = continueGamesConnection.readUTFBytes(continueGamesConnection.bytesAvailable);

         content.decode(loadedContent);

         variableX = content. variableX

         //etc, etc.

         continueGamesConnection.close();

    }

    Moreover, I also tried to use FileMode.READ and others, and it still gives me the same problem. Doesn't work only if ran on admin mode or dev environment...

    It's very frustrating, I tried to read other messages without a bit of luck... What solutions people use for this kind of problem?

    I have seen that you can set the application to run as administrator somehow, and I think that might work. However, it should work perfectly, since he does not seem against the Air API security. Looks like an overdose. But despite this, how do I do that?

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    I think you can do less detail,

    var continueFile:File = File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath("savedgames/continueGames.txt");

  • Several processes that are running on the standard user account because it runs slow and internet does not "."

    Create a user profile for children on PC 32-bit W7 with MS Family Safety.

    Recently they have complained he "runs slow and internet does not work.

    After playing for a little, I realized a ton of processes were running in the background. I couldn't run msconfig to their profile (not administrator) and after some research, I even if the profile has been corrupted.

    I created a new profile, but now the same thing is happening a few days later.

    See below; multiple copies of the same process are running. This happens within 2 m after the log-in and I only started one program.

    I started in safe mode with network and ran Windows defender, Spybot S & D and my virus scanner (all full scans) and turned up nothing malicious.  A few cookies tracking in the web cache, but nothing out of the ordinary.  I searched for the files wlaacmgr.exe and dplaysvr.exe (b/c they do not appear running in my admin profile) but they were found only in windows OS directories.  I understand that they are files of W7 but some maleware recreates.

    Many of them are the same files taking up process on the old profile that I deleted.

    Any help or suggestion as to why I have multiple copies of large processes running on the machine?  As I wrote it, I sign in, seems to be fine for one but 2 minutes a lot of process appear repeatedly and slows down the computer to a crawl.

    These two files listed are not at all on my admin profile and the machine works fine in my admin profile.  Even with open Photoshop, the CPU is only about 50% under my profile.

    Try to check/change the entries in startup with Autoruns from Sysinternals, which should work on the limited account to see its startup items.

    I read on the forum this topic even in Windows Vista, but running the SFC/SCANNOW command. not did the trick.
    I enjoy Windows 7 Professional on a computer laptop Dell x 32.

    Hi all

    I struggled to find a solution to this problem on my Windows 7 x 64 Enterprise, but then meet Peter prompted me to try 3 different freeware software: ContextEdit, ShellExView and ShellMenuView.

    Unfortunately, none of these tools has helped in my case.
    But I suspect a software backup program "Memeo backup" (which came with Seagate USB drive) and found the context menu Manager in the registry, it has exported for backup and removed the key.

    This solved my problem of: impossible to launch a program with run as different user (or administrator).

    I hope that this article entitled someone out there saving 4 hours of his time. :)

  • I got 3 accounts, two were administrator accounts and a regular user account. Now, I find that both my administrator accounts have become odinary leaving me without any user accounts administrator account. How can I now get an administrator account?

    I don't remember doing anything that could have caused this problem.

    Enable the built-in Administrator account log in, make your changes to user accounts, search for malware to be proactive.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

    First try a system restore to when things worked. If this fixes things, very well. If this is not the case, try to start in Safe Mode, because the normally disabled built-in Administrator account can be activated if no other administrative user is available on the system. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the diagnostic menu where you can use your arrow key to select Mode without failure. If the built-in administrator is enabled, you will see an icon for it on the Welcome screen.

    If the above does not work:

    If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

    NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

    Remove the installation DVD and reboot the system in normal Mode. You will see an icon for the administrator on the Welcome screen. If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows Vista (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. If this isn't the case, you can do a repair file Vista bootable DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent asmuTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or freeImgBurn software to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

    After net user, remove the bootable CD and restart the computer. You will now see an icon for administrator on the Welcome screen. Connect to this account. After getting things sorted, disable the administrator built-in yet for security reasons * after * creation of a user and administrative per the recommendations below.

    Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
    When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

    NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

    General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

    You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

    In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

    The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

    Let me soce entry details:

    1. all computers need to have at least one administrator account. It will not work without it.
    It does NOT, however, create a profile For YOU defaultAdmin. It belongs to the user or the owner to create and decide who is Admin, and who is a regular user.
    2. even an admin account will not get to install and change the settings automatically. UAC (user account control) always appears to ask for confirmation of the task by clicking on continue, or by typing the admin password.
    3 be the main user is not to be an administrator. It is up to the user/owner of the computer to be configured as such.
    That said, now my question... How do you know that you're not an admin?

    Hello

    1. Since when are you facing the issue?

    2 are logged as administrator?

    3 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

    Method 1:

    Hello

    Please answer the following questions to help us understand the exact cause.

    1 do you want to convert the administrator account in order to take into account?

    2. what else you trying to do?

    If you want to change the administrator account on ordinary account, then you can do so by following these steps.

    a. press the Windows key + X , and then select Panel.

    b. go to user accounts and select Manage another account.

    c. Select the new user account, and click Change the account Type.

    d. Select Standard , and then click Change the account Type.

    You cannot use the same email id to create an additional account. However, you can convert the account Microsoft local account and then create a new account using the same email id. But even once does not allow identification of email even to connect two user accounts. You can go through these links for any future reference.

    Y at - it a registry key to check if the current user can install a windows updates? also, what registry key that is used to verify whether a user is an administrator or not. Thank you...

    There is no need to check the registry keys to see if you can install updates or not.

    You just need to be connected to an administrator account to install the Windows updates.

    You can check if you are in an administrator account by trying taks simple administrattor. For example. Try to change the time system.

    If you can change the time, you are an administrator; no other.
