  Of course, we can use the validation for this:

  Add this to the field Validation:

  PRE ('') = IfNull (FieldValue (''), "XXX")

  Replace FieldName with the actual field name.

  I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment. You will have to wait for version 16, I think that having such opportunities.

  You seem to be an existing posting of editing rather than creating a new. 2 validation expression is not used with PL/SQL Expression validations: all the necessary code is contained in 1 Expression of Validation. Review validation options Type: those who use the Validation Expression 1 and 2 Expression of validation explicitly state what values will each. Other types of validation use only 1 Expression of Validation or not.

  What version are you on? 4.1 you can create validations of columns as a table and reference columns by using bind variables syntax, such as ": SPECIES.

  can someone help me find some information about the default field validation?
  I tried to create a validation rule for the field ContactEmail in Contacts, when I was testing created expression, I discovered that some sort of validation rule is already implemented. When I entered e.g. "gggggg.gg @" in the Email field I got the answer "* obligatory valid email", but it is not an ERROR to my validation rule, so I guess there must be a default validation on this field rule.

  It is applied by Siebel and you have no control of it. The rule is also enhanced during the data import.

  Prompt compaction is triggered whenever you close OE 100 times.  So if you compact manually, you don't get invited again until you close OE for another 100 times.  Unfortunately there is no way to change this.  Dbx files shall be compacted.  If they are not, they will move on to an enormous size, and then get corrupted, so it is important to pack on a regular basis.

• Field validation extension background in Dreamweaver CS5?

  I'm doing a background inside a form field validation when you use Dreamweaver CS5. It is not strong enough to conduct "internal". I remember a validation named "Yaromat" behavior which is downloadable as one. MXP and installed using the extensions Manager and accessible via - maybe - one of the Group of experts ' + '.

  I'm looking around only to find available Yaromat behavior in the. ZXP and only for Creative Cloud Dreamweaver format.

  Am I right in my memories and, if yes, anyone know where I can find it?

  The Yaromat validator was created by Jaro von Flocken. It is out of date and is no longer available.

  The solution is given in my other post. Implement a valueChangeListener in your beans. In the listener method call an application module method that checks the new value that you get from the event. If the new value is already in the DB add a message of faces in the listener for changes in value and set the new value to the old value to avoid the false value is found in the user interface.

  The function can be placed in a JavaScript script at the level of the document, but the last line should be the custom for the field validation script. Replace "Text1" in the line that contains the statement getField to the actual name of the other field.

  My problem: I have a jspx page in which I added two tabs.
  In the 1st tab - I have a few buttons and inputText fields. I have also required properly defined field validation.
  In the 2nd tab - I have another set of some inputTest of buttons and fields.
  
  Now when I'm in the 1st tab and when I click on my button "submit" my 1st tab field validation is terminated correctly.
  But when I click on the name of the second tab, I see once again the field validation 1 tabs by dragging, who prevents me to navigate on the 2nd tab.
  
  How can I stop the validation on the ground being pulled when I just navigate to 2nd tab.
  My field validations shoud fire only when I click on the corresponding button.

• Outlook Express can compact messages. How can I disable this error?

  OUTLOOK Express on Windows XP very annoying, it's almost each and every time I click on anything whether to open or close any program, etc...

  An error message is displayed: OUTLOOK Express: to free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages.

  This can take up to a few minutes.      OK or CANCEL

  It's on my computer for several years now and bugs the heck out of me.  How can I remove it so he won't?

  ALSO: All programs when opening are reduced to the minimum (small format) forces me to click on the big box next to the RED X at the top right?

  I do not use OE so I really should stay out of it, but I have it in my notes that can get you started and then other people may also help:

  I advise all to first understand what is happening and then decide how best to treat for your environment:

  If you are talking about a message that says:

  To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This can take up to a few minutes.

  Automatic compaction of Outlook Express files was introduced in Service Pack 2.

  If you are using Windows XP, there is a registry value called:

  Compact Check Count

  It is located in the registry for a key that looks like this:

  \Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0 HKCU\Identities\ {51909A0B-63EE-4EB3-A9A2-7CFA23C1ADCF}

  Whenever you leave OE (not when you open it), the value of the counter increases by an increment (increment is not a verb so you can't increment something and a counter cannot be incremented).  When the value of the counter gets to 101, the next time you close OE asked you to compress messages.

  There are two things that will increase the value of the counter.

  Exit from Outlook Express will increase the value of the counter.

  If you have Windows Desktop Search installed, it will increase the counter every time it works which is usually at least at each reboot.

  If you use Outlook Express, and Windows Desktop Search, the counter will be increased more frequently — whenever you close Outlook Express and whenever Windows Desktop Search launches when you restart.

  So if you have Desktop Search installed, which will increase the counter of an increment, each time that you start and if you open and close OE ten times a day, your meter will be at eleven after only a day.  Repeat this for 9 days and you will see this message.

  Even if you are not using Outlook Express and only using Windows Desktop Search, which will still increase the meter, so when the meter reaches 100, Windows Desktop Search will prompt you to compress messages at the next reboot even if you use not OE.

  This is because Windows Desktop Search is configured by default to search for the Outlook Express database if you are using OE or not.

  No matter how the counter is increased, if you use at least one of these two, eventually you will see this message appear sooner or later.  But you can stop it when you understand.

  Did you know that the "increase" is not a verb?  If you cannot 'increment' (or decrement) a counter.  You can increase or decrease an increment, however.

  You can compress data when prompted (which resets the counter to 0).

  You can change the registry and reset the counter to hand to buy some time until you see the message again.

  If you do not use Outlook Express and only using Windows Desktop Search you can tell Windows Desktop Search to never watch the Outlook Express database (or uninstall the Windows Desktop Search if you do not use).

  To remove the Option of Windows Desktop Search index to the database of Outlook Express follow these steps:

  Click Start, settings, Control Panel, Indexing Options, change, clear the box Outlook Express, OK, OK, to save the settings and reboot the system so that the changes will be effective.

  After the Outlook Express recommended for use (which would include the normal database maintenance) will prevent you from seeing the message in the first place.  If you see the message that you might want to reconsider how you use Outlook Express and the risks of data store corruption of occasional or misuse (risk behaviours).

  Most people using Outlook Express or Windows Desktop Search agree just remove the indexing Option in Windows Desktop Search and keep the meter that is built into Outlook Express so that they will remind to compact the database from time to time.  If you had to sort of do not maintain your Outlook Express files, it would be risky for your messages.

  Windows Desktop Search is a memory and CPU of pigs anyway, so you better system performance if you just uninstall it.
